Very tasty food. Well spread out seating & staff wearing mask all the time. Clean toilets & owners/staff checking on food quality giving samples for tasting is a great gesture. Dont speed after the toll as you are bound to miss this really good place if you do.
Visited this place on our way back from Savandurga hills. Its on the edge of the highway. The couple of dishes I loved was the mutton chops and mutton biriyani. However if you love spicy biriyani you are recommended to visit here. The restaurant was hygenic and staff was friendly. Service was quick. Price is reasonable but a bit on higher side.
Ohhh Myyyy Goddddd!!!! Hands down this is THE BEST dose I’ve ever had in my entire life!! (Born and brought up in Namma Bengaluru, so i can compare the million doses I’ve had all my life 😂)Their Ghee roast dose is the best!! I think i will be coming back here every weekend now.. Dose with chicken fry was outstanding!! Biryani was also top notch! Lovely people in there, going out of their way to make you feel welcomed😍 I think I’ve found my weekend indulgence - “Breakfast at Mylari’s”!! 😜😋😋
Best place to spend time with friends and family when you are traveling Bangalore to Mangalore highway you must visit here. small and attractive outlook. I have tried non veg dishes. dosa is the signature dish here it resemble Mysore mylari dose.. curry they gave with dosa was awesome.. all the non veg items we tried was good and tasty....staff are so polite and friendly.. veg dishes are also available and good in taste good service happy to visit
I’ve dined here a couple of times and every visit has been an amazing experience.. The Dosas and Akki rotis are delicious and are best accompanied with their spicy mutton gravy. They also have an array of semi dry dishes of which the chicken and pepper mutton are my favorite.. The mutton pulao is a must have!
.Hence every route I frequently travel be it to my native in Kerala, or Chennai or Mysore or any other place I frequent I dot it with beautiful place to eat. However one route I was kinda not happy was the one you take to Hassan, though Paakshala helped take care of my breakfast hunger by their Averekal Upittu 🙈🙈.But then recently I was introduced to this gem of a place in that stretch Malgudi Mylarj Mane. I didnt take even a pause to try this place because of the Mylari reference in its name.As the name suggested this place provided me with super soft Dosas with Mutton fry, Mutton curry and Pepper fry.Though I didnt like the pepper fry both the mutton gravies and the dosas made up for it.Icing on the cake they had Mutton Pulav for breakfast too.Simple with subtle flavours of wholesomePulav with chunky fatty mutton pieces I was in for a treat. Finally now I have a breakfast stop on the Hassan stretch and that too about 5kms from the Nelamangala junction.Prayers answered!!I also hear Vyshali too has opened doors in this stretch - Double Bonanza 😍🥰
A beautifully crafted place for food. Be it veg or non veg. Their mylari dosa was excellent, akki roti with sprouts was oozing, their menu is brilliant, like they have these crowd favorite dishes only in their entire menu. Pepper chicken, mutton fry, mutton n chicken pulav, their spl koli kara which is highly recommend, then kaal soup mild n flavourful, desert was on different level, that fruits with gulkand and ice cream. Overall a worthy food experience.
Loved the food and hospitality. Basavaraj was very accommodating with our requests…..must try place on the way to coorg
Overrated in my opinion. The famous dosa wasnt available when I visited. Average taste wise.Koli kara, pepper chicken were good.
Amazing place outstanding taste of food, variety of both veg and non veg, you need to be quick, it opens by 7.30am in the morning, Sundays are packed and Monday is holiday. A place for food lovers. Amazing and humble staff. Stephen & Anil are down to earth owners, Even they dont stand as boss but take orders and serve customers.
A new pit stop on Bengaluru Hassan highway for riders and travellers. An enjoyable place serving only traditional dishes with reasonable prices where we were compelled to visit. The ambiance is pleasant with outdoor & indoor seatings, decorated with Chittara art made by artists of Deevaru community who live in the verdant western ghats of North Karnataka.Their simple menu tells us whatever they prepare is made with care and perfection. We started with Paneer pepper dry, Paneer chili & Mushroom pepper dry. The Paneer were soft, tender and spiciness just kicked off on the first bite. We savoured the Paneer dishes more than mushrooms though we are fond of mushrooms.Another traditional dish which we often enjoy is Akki Rotti and Yennegai (Roti made from fresh rice flour and Brinjal curry). The way Chef. Tejappa made the rottis was extraordinary; patting the rotties with some cool beats is truly a delight to watch. No wonder the rottis were soft and went really well with yennegai. One cannot miss Mylari Dose and Pudi Dose of this place. Big, crisp doses, roasted in ghee and Chutney Pudi drizzled on top, is one step to Cloud 9. The sagu (curry) served here is different than the regular ones like Potato bhaji (Aloogedde palya)And lastly, the star dish of our lunch- Veg Pulav with Bas Saaru We would personally vouch for it for its pungent flavor and for introducing us to a new combo. Usually, Pulavs are served with Raita but here the combination of Pulav with Bas Saaru is like a Royal flush of poker; it beats all the combinations. This place also serves astonishing non-vegetarian dishes too! Plan a drive to this place, enjoy some family time with delicious food and we are sure you would have an great time together! #MalgudiMylariMane #BurpOutLoudly
Food was good 👍 .I tried paya soup, Roti, koli khara, pepper chicken, chicken pulao. And definitely I felt a big difference in the dosa when compared to actual MYLARI dosa ( vinayaka Mylari).Looking forward for some good sea food too. Also, what I felt important was the social distancing for the diners. Please mark on the table indicating the social distance. This will actually encourage for more ppl to viste to have good food here.We understand its your first step, but please consider this until this covid situation gets a little better.Hope all the tables and chairs get sanitized ,once your guest done having. And a final note that buttermilk was too yum 😋All the best for u r business!!
Amazing food even for vegetarians with limited options ambience is very good. Hygiene is well maintained in this restaurant with everyone wearing mask and gloves while serving food. My recommendation for dosa lovers is to try Mylari Ghee Roast Dosa.As we had been here for breakfast we tried very limited food.
The rating is for the Masala dose..its one of the best you can get...you dont need to go till Mysore to savour the mylari dose..the mutton pulav was ok and little too dry for my liking and the mutton was very chewy.. the kababs, the idli and the akki roti were pretty nice..but the dose is enough to pull you to go there again and again.
Dosa here is a must try item. Lost words to describe how good it tastes. Chicken curry and mutton fry goes great too. A perfect stop on the highway to grab a quick meal.
Excellent service and responsive.Good ambience.Taste, quantity and hotness of the food are good not excellent.Over all 4 star.1 star less for the quantity, tast and hotness of the food.Visited this after watching food lovers channel.
This place is great. Close to my farmhouse. Anil has the best of customer engagement skills in taking orders over the phone and delivered on many occasions. Eating in is another whole level of experience. Definitely suggest a visit. Keep up the great work.
Excellent dosa and chutney! Youll lose count of how many youre eating! The staff are courteous, helpful and very efficient. If you go during peak times, you may need to wait as this place seems to be super popular and rightly so.Being right on the highway, its a good rest stop but the food is worth an exclusive trip from the city even if you are not traveling anywhere. The washrooms are unbelievable clean so if you are traveling its a no brainer!
This place is really good specialy and have good foods both for veg and non-vegetarian.They maintain good higine , quality and taste and reasonable pricing.
A clean and tidy place which serves the authentic food in a timely manner..I think Isummarized the place in one sentence.Malgudi Mylari Mane is a must visit for both veg and non veg lovers. Their food is very good and the staff is friendly. the icing on the cake is the clean and neat toilet, which is a bonus when you are on the highway..Totally a must visit place.
Tasty food .Reasonable price value for money. Do not miss out on Koli khara .I loved it.Also the chicken pepper dry tasted good.
Great place for nonveg lovers. Although little disappointed that could not taste the dosa as the cook was on vacation. But rest everything we ordered was very tasty.
The Best 👍💯 Cannot Miss this Place In your wildest dreams too. Amazing Food, Courteous Staff, Great Location and a very Homely Affair....
Long drive & yum breakfast worth it on Sunday morning!!Wanna a break from your regular routine consider this place for a long drive & breakfast pit for a Bangalorean. We tried few dishes & its was all mouth drooling...Kaal soup was just perfect with blend of spices, Mutton pepper fry mutton chops had that amazing flavor & mutton pulav was out of the world. Amazing taste & flavor. Do give a try
Lovely place for some nasti style dishes. Limited items in menu but mouth watering. A bit spicy and can be requested to tone down if not desired. Only let down last time was mutton pulav , the mutton itself was dry. Space is a problem during peak time . Delivery is quick and staff are very hospitable. Overall a good drive out to dine experience.
Must dining place. Every dish they serve has its uniqueness. Dont miss to try fish fry.
I have been coming here since the time the YouTube hype to till date. Over the period of time, I have seen their weekend crowd to non-weekend crowd. I have met the owner too, he is hardworking person with an intent to create the brand.Todays visit I had different experience unlike all these times, it turns out chicken quality and Akki Roti taste has come down. Mostly they might have changed the ingredients. Akki Rotti tasted bland, chicken was super watery and taste less. Lots of oil and red chilly. Please get back to original taste, we travel all the way to have a good dish. Will try couple of more times to conclude it.From a Loyal Customer
Overhyped Disappointment!!! Read on and let me know if I am wrong.(They made me sit somewhere else mid- breakfast)After so many reviews and recommendations online I finally decided to visit the place for breakfast.I was hoping to have some dose (which was not available). Managed to find a place to sit (shared table... That was the only one available). Then came a very uninformed waiter who did not know what all were on the menu. When I asked whats special here, he named a couple of dishes. I asked if they have kheema, he said NO (later got to know they had kheema).I ended up ordering idli with mutton chops. Food was OK no complaints there.I had started eating then another waiter came and made me change my seat to another table to make way for a bigger group (they left without ordering anything). When I asked why they told kheema was unavailable while others were ordering it in the next table, they told the waiter who took my order is new there and thats why he didnt know about that.I paid for what I ate and left. All in all a disappointment.
A great place if you want a pit stop on the way to Sakleshpur/Chikmagalur... Serves amazing mylari dose... You can blindly opt for mutton chops and fish fry here...
A perfect stopover destination for traditional Karnataka cuisine and non-veg lovers at the beginning of the Bengaluru-Hassan highway. Visited this place today and it was worth every grueling hour I spent in traffic getting to there and then riding back home. The food is prepared and served with love and its mouth watering and pocket friendly. The mutton meat balls, akki roti and kaal soup are a must try. Will definitely keep going back every time that I will be riding towards that side. I recommend that one goes there with a small group and tastes everything on the menu and I guarantee that you will not be left disappoionted.
Malgudi Mylari Mane is by far one of the perfect highway spots for a stomach replenishment on the roads of Karnataka. As someone who loves the open road I enjoy exploring the vibrant scenic routes that take my breath away along with a hot cup of chai and some good food to help me basque in all of natures splendours. While I heard of an interesting nostalgic name of a highway stop I ventured with my bike to find out that their combination of Dosa and Chicken Curry is simply out of this world! One of my favourite places to stop by every time I hit the north roads of Bangalore. If you haven’t been there, i urge you to head towards Nelamangala Highway and feast yourselves on Malgudi Mylari Mane’s menu because it is exquisite. Cheers!! #highwayonmyhands
Good place on Hassan Road for good Nonveg food. Very good ambience. Friendly staff.
Visited all the way from Bangaluru for breakfast! And it was worth going. The food taste was amazing and especially Fish, It was just yumm( unfortunately fish is available only on weekends). All the items were like home made. Sad thing is I couldnt have dosa! But for sure Sundays pitstop, I recommend this place and Im going to keep on visiting and enjoy my meal 😌
New place with an amazing ambiance and lovely owners, both veg and non veg is available and and the dosa is daaaaaam amazing here same style of mylari dosa
Akki rotti with keema gojju and kaalu palya was awesome on top of it mutton pulav was really a high treat at breakfast hours.
Visited this restaurant from very far, by looking at the reviews and ratings… Very few items are available in the menu and also the taste of the food was pathetic. I wonder how this restaurant is over rated🙄
The biryani is yo so yum! For once I dint think twice before ordering this for breakfast. The paya is also good.
Not that craziest taste, its as normal as military hotel, prices are normal, dont expect very much. Close environment bit suffocation. All food normal taste
Very bad experience! Visited the place from very far today for lunch but food quality and taste was very much disappointing. Would really not recommend this restaurant.
The food was really awesome and specially the Mylari Dosa was one of the best dosa I ever had♥️ and the hotel has been kept really clean.
Nice vibes and good food on the highway. pomfret tawa fry was very good. also liked their crispy dosas
Tasted biryani, mutton pepper dry and mutton masala.. were too good
Finally a decent non veg hotel on hassan highway. Reasonable, nati style and hygiene food. Chicken gravy and dosa must try.
Amazing and authentic taste . Must try are Benne Dosa , mutton chops, meat ball, nati Koli fry , Koli Kara . Very nice service and value for money .
Mylari dosa was good but no sides at all. We got some curry for the dosa, no chutney or sambar, no potato bhaji as well. When asked for chutney excuse was given as no power. Finally ordered pudi dosa. No akkiroti also. Wasnt a good hotel for vegetarians. Would not recommend if u are strict vegetarian
Our experience could have been better if there were more seating capacity, serving staff and for some street dogs right next to us.Dosa and keema curry tasted good, rest of the others were just ok, soup tasted good could have been better if the leg was better cleaned and cooked.Pricing is on a over side, felt expensive for an average ambience and taste.May think twice to visit again, as I need to travel 35kms with 3 toll gates one way from my home
Love this place, it is just off the highway, has excellent food, great value for money and such amazing customer service. Its not your standard Kamat churning out a mass of food.
Must visit place...food is very tasty..dosa with motton fry 😋🤤👌👌
Awesome place with delicious food items! Went for a break fast, early morning Paya Soup adds the taste buds to the highest level, Special Mylari Dosa and Nati Koli Chicken Pulao makes to forget that you are having break fast. Thatte Idli and Chicken Curry will make yu to full and then Lime tea will keep you cherished full day! Go and try once! #Cheers
Nice little place on the highway. Nice ambiance and amazing food.
Excellent food Akki roti mutton chops Nati chicken etc
We happened to see this place while on the Mangalore highway and thought we would try. It was a great decision! The decor, cleanliness of the place and the restrooms were great! Even the simple furniture was classy, comfortable and soothing. The wall has an authentic Mylari painting from an artist from there. One of the co-owners, Anil, was very hospitable and told his story from IT to a Restaurant owner. Interesting story! The man has dreams in his eyes and big plans in his mind, to support them.Coming to the food, it was an hit from the first dish. The paya soup was flavorful with a nice piece of the leg. It was the perfect start for the evening. We followed it with juicy chicken kebabs and traditional chicken leg piece, Kori Chicken. The leg piece was spicy, but a very tasteful affair. We did end up licking our fingers. Then we deflected to some Onion and Banana Bajji. The banana Bajji was something different and we loved this unusual item on a restaurant menu. They also had a chicken omelette on the menu. I thought what other kind or the Chicken or Egg Dilemma...? Anyway we tried the omelette and it was delightful. It was a regular omelette with chicken pieces. It was very filling, that being the only down side. Finally, for the main course, we went untraditional - Dosa and chicken curry. It was a light gravy, great for dipping the chicken. This combination was so lethal, that we ordered multiple rounds of Dosas. We finally closed with chicken kushka. Flavourful rice with Raita! We were stuffed by the end of it, but loved the entire journey. Looking forward to going back!!
I ordered mylari dosa, akki roti, ghee rice and paneer dry. Mylari dosa was very tasty, but the rest of the dishes were a big disappointment. Very limited dishes and needs a lot of improvement in their cooking. Service is good and you will find them very humble and would be greeted nicely. But if you are passing this route and have a good appetite, I advise you to search for another resto
I travelled out of my way to go here. That should tell you something!!It was on my list for long as the pandemic did not make it happen. Finally it did in the initial days of lifting the lockdown. We were on our way to Mysore, the land of the famed Mylari dose, when we decided to grab a bite here. Was disappointed to see no dose (as they were still in unlock stage), but but the charming cook promised us akki roti. With literally no one around, he make the dough just for us and we watched while our food got ready in front of our eyes. Trust me when I say it was one of the best akki roti I have had in recent times. While we did try their koli kara (which is not for the faint hearted), I think it went best with the green gravy that was served. Their mutton paya was decent too.In my next visit, this time just for the food, I tried the dose. Oh what genius thought of pairing the fluffy mylari style dose with chicken gravy and selling it?? Try their dose and idly with their mutton chops and my fav green gravy. And even their chutney was lit! Sadly, the akki rotis are not available for breakfast, so I can see myself visiting again!!We also tried their nati chicken curry, chicken and mutton pulav, but I wouldnt order them again. Will stick to dose, akki roti, the green gravy and the mutton chops. Service was a tad slow, but you cant blame them with the crowd they get. 🙂
Name is Malgudi Mylari Mane, we thought its famous for Mylari Dose, because we had tasted Mylari Sagu Dose in Gandhi Bazar & it was fantastic, thinking thats taste we went there but disappointed, they are concentrating only on Nati Style Non Veg Items. One thing I personally liked was Akki Roti prepared by a cook from North Karnataka, he was earlier working in Kamath hotel in Unity building (in Between Corporation & Townhall ), where he was preparing Jolada Rotti with Badane kai Gravy, it was fantastic & couple of times we had visited that hotel & had full meals ( Unlimited Roti & Rice ).If you are fond of Nati Style Non vegetarian food lover then you must try Koli Kara ( My son was telling it was fantastic since he is non vegetarian & I am a vegetarian ).If you are a vegetarian then you may have to wait for couple of minutes more because concentrate is less on vegetarian food lovers.😔
Great coffee.... Dosa idli... N more so clean toilets......
Chicken curries taste just like home cooked food. Good place to just for a ride and have food.
Good nati food. Mylari dosa, Mutton Chops, keema meatball curry are a definite yes.
Dosa and keema combination was very nice, looking for every opportunity to visit again
We family visited Malgudi Mylari Mane on sunday after for lunch. It was little bit crowded and we got a table. We ordered Dosa, Rice Roti, Nati Chicken curry and Mutton Palav. Dosa was prepared without butter and when served also butter was missing. We asked where is butter serving person said sorry sir forgot and served the butter. Dosa was very very normal and costed Rs 45 each. Akki roti was simple like homemade similar like chapati size but price Rs 25/- each :( Nati Koli curry only small five peices served with very little running curry of half a tea glass. Completely waste to order this dish with high price tag. Mutton Palav was good spicy costed Rs 220. Raitha was served with mutton palav and we asked for second time but service person said curd over sir. Person has gone to bring curd and it will take time. :( In case next time if i need to visit this hotel will take only Mutton Palav. Food lovers TV Kripal when visited here the quantity was very more but we got very less quantity. Kripal does more drama on praising dishes say ahhhh hoooo heeee all to just praise the hotels. Now understood his reviews on hotels are fake and just for money he does like that. Finally i give 3 stars to this hotel.
Consider it for having your breakfast or lunch after you complete any of the treks around Hassan highway like Shivagange, Hutridurga, Nijagal betta etc. Dosa, Idli available here with Mutton and Chicken items.May be after some years, if they maintain the same quality, this restuarant will be considered as one of the must-go places in Bengaluru for breakfast.
Dosa very good very good taste but one dosa 40 rupees
Non-veg lovers must visit... Good quality
I used to love the food from this place, but lately, its not the same taste as before.
3rd time I am coming hereThe consistency in taste and quality is unlike no other. The crisp dosa with the sagu , the mild flavour of the mutton biryani, the strong kaal soup on a rainy Saturday morning was oh so super!Brilliant place for a foodie who loves a short ride/drive too.Met the owner too today. His passion can be seen through the food.Cheers !
U get the most flavored, best, tastiest meals here. Just the thought makes my mouth WATER 🤗!!! Very YUM
Amazing food typical karnataka recipe 😋 I always recommend u to visit this place KOLI KARA is a must try
Before taste is good not ok ok and service department lot of attitude
Good foodMust try dish koli karaa
