I really loved this place and everyone who like bengali food is gonna love this place. Food is really awesome with large no. of items. Even there is variety of dishes of fish and fresh. Taste is really awesome and price is really low as compared to other restaurants. Ambiance is also very good. Place is smaller and is not that much visible from road. And cooking time is really long as they claim they cook fresh as per the order so you may have to wait for a long time. But overall it is really awesome. Specially food tastes like bengali home made food.
It was the first time, I visited the restaurant. Its location is great but it doesnt look great from outside though, but it has a great decoration inside. Very few tables ( as seen in pic) for dining, still fine for small group or couple or individual.Coming to the experience in food,I tried only rohu fish fry which was badly fried . Per piece it was 60 rs ,I got 8 pieces for 480 RS which seeme costly for just fried one. When you look at raw fish cost around 300 per kg, 8 pieces wont even have 1 kg here, and that to 480 RS and deeply fried. Also tried Posto Gobi curry, I didnt like at all . No idea what it was. May be I Never tried and had no idea about it.
I visited this place today and It was closed. Not sure if they have moved to another place. Please update when not open to face harassment for customers..
I will say not the best Bengali food option in the area, given the price. Also they fool you with normal Katla/rohu and charging for bhetki which costs almost double. Quantity is too less and quality can be definitely improved. Once when I went for takeaway they forgot the main sabji(posto).. may be too careless. Not recommended.
Absolute disappointment. We ordered kaatla and rui fish thali. The fish was bitter and to make it worse it was fried too much. The fish skin was brittle and too bitter. Please check out the picture which gives you glimpse inside a very dirty kitchen.Food was not fresh. Dear Owner, please improve the aesthetics atleast if you cant serve fresh and tasty food.
Moderate ambience but really its worth every penny..food taste very good.. Price more than affordable
Theyre food is very good. They make fresh food on your order basis. I had order kakra thali, Basanti Pulao and kosha mangso. Food was good
Great food and nice ambiance. Price is reasonable. Very friendly staff. Bit crowded in weekends so would suggest to call the restaurant beforehand. Food is very homely and tasty. Little hard to notice from main road, need to keep your eyes sharp. Would visit once again.
Awsome food...Best ,and recommend to every bengali
The interiors of the place is good although the space is quite small. Food taste is extremely poor. Because the thali served there is quite equivalent to road side small stalls. The fish served here was definitely not fresh. Last but not the least , the kitchen (that I saw mistakenly) was very unhygienic. Definitely I wouldnt suggest any Bengali food connoisseur to go there and expect some authentic & tasty Bengali food.
Positive:Food tastes homely and nice ...Negative:1. There isn’t anyone at the counter to place order. All of the staff is in the kitchen.2. The food is never ready and we’ve had to wait for more than half hour to get our meal - which is the most common thing people order.Overall, I would not recommend this place if you’re running short of time - which is usually the case with most of us working people. But if you have a lot of time and nothing else to do, the homely food here is worth a try ..
Authentic Bengali food. Prices are more than reasonable! Service staffs are very polite. Value for money.
Food was very good. Also they serve quite a amazing menus. Liked it! But the only issue was they served our food after 45 mins of ordering.
Authentic bengali cuisine
This is my go-to place and I visit here once or twice a week. The price is reasonable and the taste is good. Quantity is appropriate. They offer discounts for regular customers. Thalis are the best. Their recent additions to menu like begun bahar and egg tarka are awesome!
I would take away one star from it because the waiting time was huuuuuuge and on top of that no place to sit so you need to wait there standing. The other star I would take away because the fish they served were not that fresh/tasty. But the rest of the Bengali cuisine dishes were really great and it was averagely priced. So yes, its worth it only if you are staying in 5km vicinity.
This place is a small but nice. The food is good and as I was having Bengali food for the first time, I liked it. I ordered veg food and that was really tasty and freshly prepared. Only lack was the delay, which I think is okey, if you are having freshly cooked food.
Definitely a good place if you want to treat yourself with an authentic Bengali cuisine. Bonus is it will stress your wallet less and the management will sincerely try to feel you at ease. Online orders are well suited with delicate care, basanti polao & mutton, crab and chingri malaikari are must try.
Pure Bengali food. Restaurant is small but clean. They will serve both veg and non veg food. Food quality is ok and value for money. Must try any fish items and mutton.
The food has homely touch and tastes really good. The meals are well balanced in number of items and quantity. A la carte items have authentic Bengali taste. Overall, a go to place for authentic Bengali food.
It was very pleasant. Doesnt look from outside but place was nice.Taste was good and overall we were really satisfied.Price was reasonable. If you like crab, you must try the Crab kasha its a delight.Couldnt give a 5 star only becoz the sitting area is a bit too small.
Food is amazing but when it was served, it was cold. I dont like to eat hot food, but the fish curry couldve been warm. It was served cold.
Had the polau and kasha chicken here. Absolutely delicious. Must try.
The ambience is very cozy and welcoming. The food is pretty good for the price. Would definitely recommend to give it a try
Lovely... Great atmosphere.. nice food.. worth for price
Nice place to hangout, if you want to meet or eat a Bengali delicacy this is the best place to choose
Well if you are a bengali and crave for authentic bengali food in Bangalore, do give this place a visit. I am sure you will like the minimilistic decor whiile you gorge on to some bhaat maach.
Previously I visited the place food was very nice , but I today when I visited the food was worst, and the behaviour was not nice. If they continue like this they will lose customers.
Limited dishes available but pure homely nd you wont regret eating here. A pocket-friendly and healthy eatery mostly has Bengali nd Odia cuisine.
The place is very subtle yet soothing.I liked the ambience. Food was good and very homely. Fish items and Posto items will be a must try for everyone.
A good Bengali restaurant in case of food and ambience also.
Good quality and tasty food. Reasonable price. Fish Curry was awesome. Everyone should try it especially if you are a Bengali.
Awesome place for Bengali foods. Price is cheap but foods are delicious.Must Try Luchi and Mutton Kosha Thali
Definitely a good place if you want to treat yourself with an authentic Bengali cuisine. Bonus is it will stress your wallet less and the management will sincerely try to feel you at ease. Online orders are well suited with delicate care, basanti polao & mutton, crab and chingri malaikari are must try.
Nice Bengali Food Joint. Mostly over crowded. Its recommended to book the table earlier on weekends.
Taste wise good. Service wise needs improvement. Slow service and many times they dont clean promptly. Limited seating area
We ordered illish bhapa, chicken kosha, veg thali, mango chutney. Everything else was great at taste except for the bhapa. Its a costly dish and so if they offering ghis it should be good else removed from menu.
The most third class quality food we had there, no taste, no quality, the amount was said before delivery, hell and heaven difference when delivered. Never recommend anyone.
Nice ambiance and tasty food food for north indians taste of bengal
Small place..yet good to catch some simple home made bong food. Oil is less food is simple and feel like home.. price is cheap too ambience is good..had Alu posto chikn kosha mostly bengli food.waz satisfied
Overpriced and careless staff. I went there 3 times seeing good reviews but I was disappointed every time. Not worth it.
Awesome authentic Bengali food. Healthy food. Good atmosphere. Loves the interior.
Food quality and taste is great, price is reasonable. Authentic bengali cuisine
Best Bengali restaurant for me in this region(5 square km).But you better call them and then go...it doesnt follow its regular opening and closing time as given in zomato..
Bengalies are love this place after having south dishes for long time.. love the sukto with ghee..
One among few restaurants in BANGALORE where you can find bengali food. Its not authentic but its good
Went there after seeing the reviews which are completely deceiving. Looks like a collective effort to rate it highly to attract crowd. They have asked their friends and colleagues to write positive about the place. The place is very small and only good for takeaway or some quick snacks. The food is ok and nothing that good which is mentioned in other reviews. Not sure about other day, but the day I went there it was not hygienic at all, too many flies. I went all the way from Ulsoor with high expectations and got disappointed. Would have come back to try again if they were honest with the reviews. Definitely not going back.
Food is just awesome...love to go there every time..nice service provided.
Nice homemade bengali food. I liked the sun to, posto and rohu ka liya.
Limited options. Taste is nice. Simple ambience.
Has a strange, shabby entry, though modern n decent inside.Food is quite nice too, aam panna was a little spicy, sour n sweet but not too sweet, perfect.Chicken kosa was very tasty. Omelette, luchi, paratha n mishti doi was decent.
Food is very nice and less costly. Nice ambience.
Full Bengali style restaurant including the theme and food.. food is really tasty. Well get various types of Bengali dishes here. Cost is not toooooo much. It is located at HRBR Layout, Kalyannagar. 2 minutes walking distance from the main road (Kammanahalli Main Road). Location is just on the road, you can do road parking. And All types of payment is available (e.g, GPay, Phone Pay, Paytm, Card, cash etc.), Lunch Time is till 4pm. And then from 7pm. To 11:30pm. You will get many tasty Bengali evening snacks too. Nice place for Bengali food. Food was good.
Very good food, pocket friendly....nice place for a weekend lunch with family
Only surviving bengali eatery in Kammanahalli , little pricey but ok with the food
Ordered for family - traditional Bengali items. Food was excellent, quantity amazing and prices were moderate. Please start delivery soon.
Overall ambience is good. Didnt like the fish preparation.
If you need homely bengali food in cheap price this is the place you are looking for. Food quality could be little more better.
Wonderful Bengali food and easy on the pocket. Must try their mutton and chicken curries. Ufffffff you will not regret. Close to Kullappa Circle at Kammanahalli.
Good place for authentic Bengali food with affordable price. Nice ambience too.
Very few seats, food is good, authentic Bengali meals, delayed service
Good food, good quality and best thing is totally bengali flavour
Best bengali cusine, A must try for authentic Bengali, Those who are far away from home, and miss home food
Great food... Lovely Bengali dish
Very good Bengali food at a decent price and a great ambience
The food was yum. But it takes a good half an hour of waiting before your food is served
Great food at a great price ...
The food was not all that great!
I ordered Mutton Kishan today afternoon, which is Bengali delicacy and us supposed to be mutton cooked in rich gravy. Instead what I receive is a few half cooked mutton pieces in watery gravy. I am very disappointed in the food.
Delicious food... But need to improve the ambience and capacity to serve people.
Cheap and good Bong food. Heaven.
Our go place whenever we used miss bong food. We always used to mutton kosha.
Kinda okay dishes...Kosha is really a big flak, not at all worthy of the mney spent...!
Very poor Swiggy menu list. Restaurant menu is different from Swiggy menu especially for starters and thalis
This is a place where you will get amazing in health and taste foods, they have done justice to bengali style food, very minimal oil. And no unhealthy spices, basically they know the proper amount of oil and good spice to make a healthy and tasty food, you can have food here everyday without any worries, its a newely opened resturant. Has been 6 months, they make food with honesty and with a motive to serve people healthy, unlike other food joints, its 100 times better. And price is very very reasonable. They are opening a new branch soon this month
Authentic Bangla food..... But odia people too will like it... Fish items varieties available too
Filthy and rancid place!!!! Looks like a place that is cooking rats during a famine. Eat at a very serious risk.
Place where bengalis can explore and meet each other
