Sunday evening, ordered dosa, they supplied chatni which was swelling bad, may be it was cooked 24 hours before or more.When we asked what is this? They telling sorry and supplying other one.Careful, better do not take chance , stay healthy

With no other restaurants close by, stepped into this place. Nice ambience. Took a while to find a table, but service was quick. Food was hot and tasty as well. Waiter who waited was more than willing to help. Second serving of whatever we asked for what provided in no time. Little pricey.Once stepping out, found a darshini type restaurant close by on Millers Road towards the Cantonment station.

Established in 1986 i had frequented this place way back in 2001 when i was working nearby. It has a new look now. Clean and well maintained. South indian dishes. Limited car park. Taste is the same as it was then.delightful

The service was pretty decent so is the ambience.The dishes we ordered were tasty...be it the South Indian meals or the masala dosa or the curd vada or the coffee. The chutney could have been better as it was too watery diluting the taste completely.

Disappointed, had coffee and was wondering if they know how to make coffee.Ambience and location bang on but little I would expect them to learn how to make coffee . Went to billing counter and I could see busy cashier and he is busy and made me to wait for 5 min to give back change, judgemental but clearly money minded I could find .Will see if they respond to my review.

Good veg restaurant at this area. Situated at the corner of the road and here food served to the sitting tables. To have a comfortable dinning experience its suited and also the service is fast enough. It has parking for max 4 cars.

It is aggred a very old place for authentic Karnataka style veg food. But the overall experence was average. Food was just average and the hygine was just ok.We expected more from here.

Washroom is very unclean, the way the person takes an order makes you feel unpleasant. Please do the needy.

One of the oldest restaurants in Bangalore.Very tasty food, they havent compromised on the quality of the food and hygiene is given importance as well.Must try the rawa idli and filter coffee, most of the south indian dishes are brilliant havent tried the north indian dishes here else I could have said something about them too.

Good South Indian Hotel with Average Rate. Idly, Dosa and Rice items available.Taste is very good and waiter response is good. For two person morning breakfast expense would cost around Rs.100 to 200.Car parking available in front of hotel for only two cars. Its very close to signal.

It is very close to our office, I have been regular customer for them, Lunch time always rush here, you can have a decent south indian meal. Price little high I feel.

If you are in this area and are looking for a set south Indian meal, this restaurant is a great choice. During peak lunch and dinner times it is VERY crowded so be prepared to wait. Seating is also quite close to each other so you may be a little cramped while eating. But the food ans excellent service makes up for this. What I like about this restaurant is no matter how many clients are waiting to be seated they dont rush you with your meal. Pricing is value for money. Place is hygienic and clean.

One of the iconic restaurants in Bengaluru. Prompt and friendly service. Clean, spacious and less crowded unless it is weekends. Car parking is a struggle so its better to avoid getting here by car. A good hygienic restaurant serving delicious south indian food. Love their rava idli and vada sambar. Their panner chilli dosa is also one of my favs.

Went for lunch, not much rush as it was December 26th. Good place the taste is good. Nice ambience and looks clean. The servers were modest and available to take request.Initially order taking staff was nice. But after sometime, another staff came to ask if we needed something else and was too rude and least interested in taking order. Reducing one star because of that.

Delicious veg food South Indian & North Indian both available, evenings more of North rather than of south indian dishes are available, sweet and fruot juice is also available,four wheel parking is a bit problematic, two Wheelers can be parked in front of Hotel, that too not more than four or five two Wheelers can be parked, otherwise for Pure Veg lovers, it wont disappoint you

They offer varieties of Vegetarian foods. Quality of food is good and hygienic. Cost of food is not too high. Ambience is neat and clean. They have AC and non AC area. Non AC area is generally crowded. Place is good for family. Service is very fast and staffs are friendly. They accept cash and card payment both. Outside the restaurant they have juice counter too. There is no parking area.

Simple and wholesome mealIts a must eat place at Cunningham Road providing good South Indian dishes. This time I had their South Indian Meal which consisted of 3 Puris, 1 Papad, Rice, Vegetable curry, Sambar, Rasam, Curd and Sweet dish made out of semolina (sheera). All the dishes were simple and each had their own unique flavour. Complete the meal with a cup of hot filter coffee. If one is looking for a no-frills lunch or dinner this is the place.

Premium udupi fare, Dishes out hot bonda soup in the evenings. Try out their rava and ghee Dosas.The ghee masala roast actually serves 2 and comes with a podi dusting. Dosas come with 2 varieties of chutnies that go well with their Dosas.

Nice place for break fast with filter coffee

This place has been a saviour of office goers for decades. Its usually crowded at lunch time Mon-Sat. Breakfast and dinner times see fewer customers. The food is really good and they have maintained the quality of the food over the years. The service is excellent and the waiters are very polite and helpful even at the busiest times. The South meals is better than the North meals and they make a killer Roti+Kofta curry. Highly recommended along with the coffee (maybe the Kesari-bath too :))

Good South Indian Thali.Food is fresh and after one bite, you can tell that it is prepared with utmost care.There is an AC and non AC section. Prices are very reasonable. Rs. 150 + GST for a Special South Thali served on a banana leaf (see image).In case you are from West India (like myself from Mumbai), and are not habituated to have large quantities of rice, you can even request to have a large rice bowl replaced with puris (still you will get a small lemon rice as a side dish).Quality of food is amazing.Waiters are courteous.Tables for two are not available. Smallest table is table for 4.Do carry a hand sanitizer. They have this practice of keeping a soap bowl with a spoon in the washroom which isnt very hygienic as several people touch the spoon.Overall it is a good place for lunch or dinner.
