Best bakery ever, been there in Frazer Town for years. Their Bheja puff is out of the world. The only issue is they dont accept online payment. Highly recommended.
Heaven on earth is when you get the best of food under one roof, well, would u believe me its been happening for over 120 years in Namma Bengaluru.Albert Bakery, Mosque road. This place serves the best of snacks in dozens of varieties, has won many recognition awards for being iconic and serving some delicious snacks. What I tried:* Chocolate Donut* Chicken Samosa* Mutton Samosa* Chicken Puff* Bheja PuffI loved all of them and will definitely be going back many more times.Protip : The Somasas go very well with Tandoori Mayo from @delmonte_inTimings - 4pm to 9pmLocation : 93, Mosque Rd, Cleveland Town, Pulikeshi Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560005Follow @mcvishwas@mcvishwas@mcvishwas
Instead 3pm opening can be prepobed to 2pm. Pre Order taking at the entrance will ease the crowd. Act to the crowd it will avoid in this covid situation
Came to know about this place through online reviews, and have visited twice. The highlights of the place are the mutton cutlets which are nice and juicy, chicken puff which is very nice and flaky, chicken spring rolls, which is again tangy and crisp on the outside, and mainly the old charm of the place.Points to keep in mind -It is meant for takeaway, else you can eat standing outside the shop.Cash and maybe UPI payment is accepted, not card.It is counter service, similar to your school and office canteen.*Go for the taste and quality. Please dont get fussy and agitated!!!.
Product are good,. Due to Vintage and demand,. At time it is crowded,. Imagin ur forming a like to buy a Brown bread,. But its all worth it....
My favorite bakery in Blore, very good taste, -- such as khoova naan, kheema naan, chicken cutlets, are super, small samosa very nice, cakes all very nice,
Best and mouth licking delicacies, Desserts, Snacks.Mutton samosa, Kheema and khawa naan are must have
Been to the place many a times... Except the Khova Naan every other item is very much over rated literally ... I endorsed this place to a lot of family and friends for many a years which i am starting to regret..Now the quality is not the same . Thats a shame.Khova Naan - Yes Its a must buyRest - Please dont waste your money .Had to give 1 star sole reason being lack of quality through out many months & Over priced.
One of the very few bakeries where you can find the ultimate taste.
Amazing food. Lives up to its legacy. I m from Goa driving through. Was asked by family and friends to buy items from here. The coconut muffins are really good
An iconic bakery in Bengaluru. They serve some items which are not usually found in and around the area and Bengaluru in general like the Mutton Brain Puff.Worth a try but not something I would be craving to return to.
Loved the Khoa Naan and the Samosas.
Love their items. Was only disappointed with their Cash Payment Only policy, in todays age of digital payments ð When asked, the owners son (Im assuming) who was at the billing counter, replied that they were having some issues with a few of the payment gateways, so decided to do away with online/card payments completely, which in my opinion is a rather nonchalant & archaic solution to the problem, causing much inconvenience to many of the customers.
This is one of those few old school bakeries sill remaining at Bangalore. They make the traditional dishes like chicken / mutton samosa, cutlets, pastries, cakes, rolls etc....
The snack item here are good no complaints. But little overpriced. Do not trust if it is mentioned as open on Google a couple of times I had to travel 6km. But unfortunately after reaching there found it closed. Not sure who has to update the status in Google. It would be useful if that is updated.. and the number mentioned in Google rings but no one picks it up.
MY cousin said that COVA DILLPASAND is killer(Its soo tasty that you might die after tasting it)(Thank god I didnt die .. cause its taste is average..not bad)But I LIKED an item which was made using EGGS
Best bakery items available here, dont miss to try out egg pudding, naans and cutlets. This store is very famous and very authentic style naans and stuff you get here. Dont miss to try the bestest stuffs here.
Mawa naan & puff are must try. Also, cookies are really good here
Great taste, need to improve in packing material, still using old newspapers for packing certsin items
One of the highest demanded bakery . In Bangalore and looks small but it has very good taste of whole Bangalore.
Mutton samosa is the best snack everyone can try.best place to snack .Thumbs upð
You get lip smacking sweets and savouries like puffs, cakes, egg halwa, khoya nan, mutton samosas, honey cakes, coconut barfi and lots more
Best Khava naan money can buyâĪïļ
Awesome snacks and bakery products..you dont have a place to sit and eat..I love most of the items..must visit place..im sure you will go back...Owner uncle gives a very pleasant welcome with a cheering smile..Overall 5 starsDifferent pastriesAwesome sweetsReasonable price...
At last..Made it to the mosque street, Frazer town, one of the culinary heavens for non vegetarians..Albert Bakery - a legendary hole in the wall joint famed mainly for its mutton samosas, Kheema naans and Khova naans..Relished the first two and packed the third one for home, as they are vegetarians during the sacred month. Delivered fresh and warm.Believe me friends. The stuffings in these signature dishes were truly delicious and one of the best I had the privilege to taste. One star less because there is not adequate space to sit and eat. Otherwise the quality of the products certainly deserve 5 star rating. Its not very expensive too, taking into account the excellent quality of the items, and the portion sizes.
This bakery happens to be the major landmark of frazer town. The items here r very fresh and tasty. Not ur regular pocket friendly bakery tho. Khove ki naan is my all time fav wic costs 120rs. Service and precautions against covid 19 is very good. Clean and hygiene. During ramadan the queue is stretched out till 100mtrs from the bakery. Coz tge best takes time. Now u can hav an idea how good the taste is.
Famous for small samosa. Very old bakery in Frazer town
Can be kept more clean. Taste of the food is amazing!
Age old on mosque road.I love their kova naan.
Legendary bakery in the town. Mutton samosa, chicken puffs and brain puff is mouthwatering. Been to this place from years and they have never compromised with taste. You can never go wrong with this place. Choose anything from their menu, you will never be dissatisfied. There is no sit out. You either have to grab a quick bite or just takeaway.
Quality is good but not great, located at prime spot, no parking option available, Ambience and colouration of the place is awful and antediluvian
From my school days I used by mafin salt biscuits puff really great he has mainten is quality till date
Quality is SuperbPrice is one and half more from othersBut the attitude of owner is not good
For folks in Bengaluru, Albert Bakery is as legendary as it could get ! I have lived in this city for more than a decade now and I donât know why or how I did not end up going here, but I finally did visit. The place opens at around 3 pm and people start trickling in as soon as they are open which is the reason why some of the items run out well before their closing timeThe bakery is in the Frazer Town Area and I arrived early evening to satisfy my post lunch pre-dinner cravings. Here is how it went âChicken Seekh Kebab â This was served piping hot, yes they microwave before serving but this was a new batch when I ordered and came in fresh. Kebab was loaded with Chicken and every bite was meaty and fulfilling. This got me going for sure !Mutton Samosa â Ask anyone what is a must have here and this will be top of the list. They have both regular and mini Samosaâs. I wanted more of it and went with the regular one but somehow it did not click with me. I got more onionâs than mutton and it was more oily than I expected. Maybe I got the wrong one that day !Chicken Cutlet â One more non-veg item to try and this time it was Cutlet. Again very generous on the meat with shredded chicken stuffed to max. Very satisfied with this one as well.I was told the Khova Naan is another best seller here and considering it is not something that one person can hog on, ordered it for take-away along with some Aloo Bondaâs. Both did not disappoint and did live up to the hype! Service is quick.
I love kova naan from Albert bakery since from my childhood
Chicken samosa, banana cake, carrot cake and pumpkin cake are the best you can eat in the old Albert bakery
Will get best kova naan here , amazing
Nice and fresh bakery items and famous for mini samosa
The place wer ppl stand in quees to buy d samosa
Hygiene Good one but price is too high
They should start accepting g-pay or payments through debit or credit card thats very convenient to customers
Only cash payment here really love the savoury from Albert
Very Disappointing! These people are talking their reputation for granted and quality is dropping, things are getting expensive. And they misplace the orders quite often!
Traditional bakery with deliciously prepared robust dishes and bakery items like bread, pastries, puffs etc.
GGood quality reasonable price & tasty snacks
Chicken pastry was very nice. Chicken samosas are average.
Mutton samosa , naan , very very tesy snakes
Finest most celebrated bakery which has a legacy fo freshness in Bangalore, Yes the true old British sprinkled Bangalore, The Bakery is one of the oldest most famous for its Samosas, Biscuits and Pastries. Has utmost regard for customer in terms of price most of this has very homemade feel, if you are new to Bangalore this is a place you to try to shop from a bakery.
I use to go often to this Bakery, last week I have seen cockroaches roaming on Buns and asked them, they have removed Buns in front of me. I think they are not following hygiene.
Good stuff available here the quality is also great
Boy this bakery got some serious kinds of breada.Definitely one should check this bakery in dunzo app or swiggy or whatever one can find.Poor people stay away.
One of the best chicken puffs and mutton samosa i had here. All items available here are fresh and tasty.Overall one of the best bakery in Bangalore
Traditional Bakery with good standards. Only issue is cash only for payments. Khova naan and brain puffs are must haves
Puffs naans cookies cutlets samosas and much much more my life time fav
The Khova Naan is really yummy. Definitely worth visiting this place just for this. Also tried out their Chicken and Mutton Puffs and samosas they are alright. The puffs are more onion than the meat.
Visited Albert Bakery after too much of hype and expectations. But, disappointed with the quality of items. The mutton puff stuffing was not even worth, no mutton pieces at all, but priced âđ.30. The outer layer was not so cooked properly, maida effect was high.. Things were fancy in terms of name, but not worth the price or taste.
Expensive items. Taste is very good
Just an old bakery. Mutton Samosa are the best.
Amazing place for pastries and puffs. They have brain puff. First time Ive had that. Mutton samosa as per weight. And bought some egg sweet which was amazing. Very reasonably priced as well
Too crowded....it opens for 3 hours...which is not a good idea they should make some changes
Their honey cake was awful!
They have increased the prices of all the stuff a bit too much
Legendary place in Bangalore, which one should visit for getting some nice and warm Keema Samosa, Khoya Naan and varieties of Puff (Veg, Egg, Chicken and Mutton). Its one of my go to places when Im in/around that area. Make sure to carry cash as they dont accept any other form of payment.
Didnt like the luqmein this time. Felt its not fresh. Haleem.was good.
Bloated and abnormal high cost for hyped up, very stale and tasteless stuff.
Very nice khava nan is here
All good, only one suggestion that they should start taking online payments..
Must try veg samosas, khova naan, dumroot and many more exquisites.....
Good quality n everytg I would give full five stars if they had online payment tho thats 1 minus point
Delicious bakery snacks. However, didnt like their mayo chicken sandwiches.
Heard quite a lot about this placeyoull get old and traditional vibes as you enter the bakerythe interior is the same from when it was started im suretasted the chicken puff , mutton samosa anf khova naan1. chicken puff - really thin and crispy wafer outside , juicy stuffing within.2. mutton samosa - theyre not that typical type samosastheyre one bite samosa which just wont fill your heart a must try.3. khova naan - served straight from the oven the khova is still soft buttery and hotthe wafer is thin and crisp.very oily and heavy on stomach but tastes really goodonly reason i gave 4stars is because this place is a bit heavy on pocket.a MUST VISIT place
Every year the price of products keep on increasing and product size decreasing. I urge the store owners to think about the customers and set fair prices on products.
Excellent taste good quality hygiene
Very slow service for delivery boys . Even they pay money they dont take free from u rite
The best bakery in town, taste is unmatched, however not giving 5 stars as they only accept cash. No cards nor UPI payments in this time of digital payments causing inconvenience in this regard
Great place. Best known for their Kawa Naan and Mutton Samosas.
Good cakes and samosas.
One of the best bakeries in frazer town..When it comes to special naan, they are the best..
Oldest sweet and coconut pie which u will never get any where
Just hype not so good to taste
They prepare the best khoya naan and samosa in town
Good for fresh samosas and khova naan, do not expect more from cakes
Love for chicken Samosas cannot be ignited more. One of the very few places still running just on cash. So dont forget to carry cash as they do not accept any other form of payments.
The quality and taste of food is uncompareable, due to this it is on the costly side for the items sold.
Khova ki naan cant get better than this!!! An iconic bangalore bakery!! Must try their salt biscuits as well..
Nice place to have bheja puffSmall samasaBut only cash no upi no card :(
Yummy snacks! The best Chobe Ki Naans.Only drawback is that they dont accept any card or digital payments. You have pay only in cash!
Visited the legendary outlet during the month of Ramadan. It was a struggle to even enter the place. People literally swarmed this tiny shop as it opened post lunch time.By the time I huffed and puffed my way to the counter, the chicken cutlet was out of stock. However, got my hands on the mutton samosas and chicken puffs. The puffs are heavenly, apparently the best Ive tasted in a long timeA visit here is like bumping into a history lesson
