They forgot to give me chicken in the chicken biryani. No chicken was there. Dont order from here. They have 2 restaurants Tharavadu family restaurant and Tharavadu malabar resturant both are similar and you wont get their number online neither will they pick your calls. Beware.

This was a nice restaurant, with wonderful ambience. but due to poor maintainance it looks very dull.

Food quality is normally a bit inconsistent, but yesterday 11 Sep we ordered Kerala carrier meals via Swiggy and it was super delicious - quite a good spread and variety. We normally order veg meals from them over the weekend. The portions are also generous, as a family of three we could have two portions each over two days. SO GOOD.

They offer very tasty Kerala food. But dine in facilities are just above average. Good deal if you order it in zomato.

Its an Authentic malabar cuisine which serves veg n non-veg. All Kerala dishes are served. A budget friendly place to satisfy taste buds at an affordable price!

Have been here a couple of times. Its not like its an amazing place or anything. It is more of convince than anything else. From outside it does not look very clean , but from inside he has maintained it. Typically kerla food with kerla parata and kerla meals, but you get northindian dishes also. Fish dishes are supposed to be good. Ok to go if you are in the neighborhood.

Visited this restaurant during lunch...Has a pretty good ambience. Kerela style food...quite spacious.. Food is ok here...ordered meals, fish curry, prawns roast, chicken kababs....specially liked the prawns...fish curry was also good. Service is good and price is also reasonable. Would recommend this for a taste pf kerela cuisine.

Tried their Chicken Biriyani today via Swiggy. It was just a trash. Rice had no flavour. Meat was just separate from rice and that too was bad. Not eligible for even a single Star. Pathetic food.

Normal Kerala Style restaurant. There is nothing special or any signature dish. Even asked staff for the signature dish and he directed to go for chicken varatharachathu. This location is not disabled friendly and parking for four wheeler will be a mess.

Extremely disappointed with the latest order. I have ordered two malabar chicken biryani by expecting the same quality and quantity as that of the previous order of around one month back. This time we received only biriyani rice. For name sake they added small pieces which i doubt are the left over or waste pieces. Just threw it to the Dustbin.They charged 219rs for each biryani. Even Meghna biriyani (best biriyani in bangalore) charges less than 200 for hyderabadi dum biriyani.I have thrown it into the dustbin out of anger. Otherwise would have taken picture and complained to authorities for delivering such low quality left over food.

Worst Kerala restaurant that I have ever been to in Bangalore. Its a shame for malayalis out there. A chicken curry that was ordered for Rs.150 had just 4 very small pieces that too was full of bones. When we asked later about this while paying, the cashier told its our mistake that we did not ask for more pieces. So they are expecting all the customers to ask for more and better pieces and they dont admit thats its a problem with their service. Worst experience. Never go there. Will never recommend this restaurant for anybody. The Tharavadu Restaurant in HSR is of the same one. I expect the same mentality for the people there also.

This is our go to place for lunch when we feel home sick. They offer authentic Kerala style food. The taste to price ratio is stupendous. Moreover the staffs are always friendly with their customers. Just reaching their takes a little effort since the lane is always busy and sometimes you need to take the wrong way to reach faster (expect traffic police stopping you on the way while you do that but you will be fine if you mention that you are going to the Tharavadu hotel. They will let you go even if you have passed through the wrong way).
