I was first curious about this college but then while submitting application only they are charging 2000 bucks.. like seriously! Business minded college! Better on focusing to provide quality education to their students they are behind money.. Better not joining

Never join this college. Management is money minded. Since its private it will surely play with your degree. If you dont proper attaindance they will give you a year back doesnt matter the reason for being absent.

Coutinho - former Vice Chancellor, Gulbarga University and Prof. Rame Gowda - former Vice Chancellor of the Karnataka State Open University.The Trust was established to set up centres for educational excellence that would accept only qualitative practices nurturing students with value based education.The Trust began its operations with Garden City College of Science and Management Studies which has an “A - Grade”, the highest conferred to an educational institution, when assessed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – the premier accreditation body under the UGC consecutively in three cycles of accreditation. These institutions are ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14000:2004 certified.In 2013, the Government of Karnataka passed the “Garden City University Act”, taking into consideration the merits of the Garden City Education Trust. A really good university. Have been studying here for two years now doing my physiotherapy and have had a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and well versed in their respective fields. The college gives many opportunities, I myself had the privilege of visiting a college in Spain which was an amazing experience . The campus too is really beautiful and has many facilities for each and every student.

My stint in Garden City University has given me insights into the thought process of the founders and the administration. My visit to Garden City University proved to be exciting during their annual Gardenia Festival which had hosted the famous Sunburn Music show. The inside of the campus is well kept and once you enter the place it is absolutely free of pollution and clean and serene. A good place to study with extremely good ambience. Great going ahead.

I am undergoing my under graduate degree in BSc. IT from Garden City University. My experience from the beginning to this very time of this beautiful journey has been very amazing. From the infrastructure to the teachers, from my mates to everyone I met during my time here is a treat to remember. I personally had many joyful and momentous events and memories to remember. This University has everything to offer from the curriculum to all the extra-curricular activities organised. All these have given me so much to learn from whether it be from the side of education or from the point of self-development. Most Importantly I have enjoyed each and every second I have spent inside this university. I would recommend you to get yourself a tour into this beautiful campus and feel what this university is all about.

This is my seventh year in a hostel, second at GCU. I am thoroughly enjoying here. I truly dont miss my home. My friends and I are very happy about our hostels.

Worst experience with getting my degree.No one can provide you with the correct information and are impatient.Everytime you call their no. They themselves are confused .First and foremost difficulty in communicating..It’s hard for them to understand basic English.To get my own degree, they are making me run...Lol colleges secure your future.. even after telling them multiple times that its an urgent concern.... still advising the same nuisance....Pathetic staff

This college has helped me boost up my confidence and also my creativity. A very friendly environment for students. A very beautiful platform for exposing talents. Very much preferred for students who actually are willing to find the true life of a student.

Attended my distance education online exams at the computer center here.Found the computer center to be properly managed. The parking location was very useful. The open grounds and the cafeteria options were nice but perhaps some shops where close on weekends.The place has a bank and ATM in the premises.Nice quite campus

Today is the day I can’t just keep quite . It is a good College because that’s what they like to show you .. and write about the canteen , the campus and stuff but behind all these there are students who are suffering and regretting the day they stepped inside this college. Let me tell u , there are lots of students from different parts of India and even world who have participated in so called ‘graduation functions’ but still have not graduated.. They are trying hard , atleast most of them are . Every year they pay for their examination fees , prepare for the exams and what happens is ‘mistakes’ from the management, registration office , the college , Bangalore university. Sometimes they forget to enrol you for the subject you payed for and sometimes they just make you write the subject you have already passed . Like today what happened with my friend . He payed for his exams for this year (backs) long back and when he went to get the hall ticket . They are telling him to pay 20000 rupees fine which they never mentioned before . And when he is telling them that he cleared all his dues . They are like ‘yeah , you did but this is the fine’ . You gotta pay if u want to write the exams. My question is if you knew there was a fine , why did u accept all the money he payed for exams in the first place .. Every year trying to clear the papers thinking you will make it this time .. is not easy .. but sadly this is the education system we are having .. Sadly we don’t care about how many years that student has already wasted but all you care about is Money and your fines .. this is one of many problems I have shared today .. there are many people who are going through same thing or even worst .. Where is education ?? I see only greed

The university is good in providing quality infrastructure and modern learning tools for students.But there is no job security for professionals who works here.Recommended to professionals with new ideas ,innovations to avoid this place. The person who starting their career in teaching could prefer this place.

But it focuses more on extra curricular activities, compared to the other colleges the fee structure for all courses are same.Attendance is not at all a problem over here students rarely get full attendance but even though you can write exams because there are lot of ways to get the required attendance by the time of the university exams.The best part is that they offer good placements in good companies if you are able to get a degree from here.If you are looking for enjoyment than you should definitely join this college.

Garden city, in the name itself there is peace. Campus atmosphere is really great. You can see students from various countries. There will be many extra curricular activities taking place.

“Emphasis on Life”, the slogan well defines Garden City University. Garden City University has had provided me with internship opportunity. I started a project in Computer Science department under the supervision of the department head and the university’s director, soon I was provided an opportunity to work at the sister company Garden City InfoTech. I have also worked on various tasks which helped in gaining extensive knowledge. Throughout the time, I had continuous support from my peers and the supervisor. Support was not limited to the project. I was welcomed and picked at the city airport, lived for a week at hotel with hospitality provided from Hotel Management students, later had been allotted a single room at nearest hostel with 4 meals & laundry service, availed the transportation, was provided with intern Id card to avail all the facilities in the campus and the list goes on.Garden City campus is well maintained and absolutely beautiful. The Campus consists of each department’s block, labs, libraries, football, basketball, badminton court and a gym, besides these there is a mess, a food court, ATM, Drinking water facility and plenty of vehicle parking space.The management of the university is quite helpful and friendly. When in need they are the ones to resort any issues or to solve queries, irrespective of the campus or hostel. The management helped me unconditionally in the time of need throughout the journey. My special thanks to the Chancellor and the director of the university.Number of opportunities are provided in the campus. Management trainee program, Projects, internships, conferences, placement drive, showcasing talents like dance on an event, and other competitions takes place in the campus, pushing students to help attain their goals. Garden City is not limited to academics or placements, a gardenian enjoys many co-curricular activities in several forms.Having said that, in my opinion Garden City University is the best choice of university and I am overwhelmed to suggest the university to the one who’s seeking success.

My daughter wanted to study here because all her friends were joining this college. I read reviews in Google and was not happy as they did not have good reviews. But when i came for orientation and stayed here my notion about the college changed. Very well maintained campus and infrastructure. Hostel is also good and my daughter has never complained about the hostel food. Security at the gate is 24/7 and what more a parent wants when they know their child is safe in the college especially for a parent like me staying away from my child. She is also doing very good at her studies now and improving herself.

One of the best things about this University is how it helps us grow by nurturing our talents and helps us explore various new areas of experience. Life here is great :)

The college is not what it used to be 4 years ago. Its substantially degraded. The motto of the college should be changed from Emphasis is on life to Emphasis is on money. Dont know about other departments but as in case of my department (Computer Science) the faculties are not good enough. They let go some of the best faculties the department had and instead they are hiring inexperienced teachers. Please dont judge the college by its infrastructure. I would rather not suggest anyone to take admission in this college. Your fate is in your own hands......BEWARE!!

Worst management I have ever seen into reception area, the head person named as Ajay was not allowing to wait as my sister was giving exam, as he asked me to leave in a rude manner. Really management here I cant understand. Instead he must have asked to wait to different area than to leave campus.

One of the best college under the Bangalore university. they offer courses on engineering, commerce, business management, hotel management, fashion design, etc. They have a very well equipped lab and library. Very nice and scenic place, well maintained.

Payscales are very low and staff are harassed.Less teaching but more of documentation work. They dont need lecturers who are serious about teaching , only data entry operators who work 365 days 24X7.

I Started in 1995 batch of physio students in 3 floor rented building, now an environment clearly for students with so much potential to learn and grow. When we started our course was illegal with no affiliation to any university but now I wish I was studying there again. Lucky students. They took my college deposit which was refundable and never refunded it saying it will be used for alumni membership , never got a letter or invitation to attend any function or any matters of the college since I left in 2001. Thats GCC.

** I had UPSC Civils Exam19 here last Sunday.**I experienced, possibly, the WORST communication any institute could make for an address enquiry. Also, they cant even maintain a proper Institutes official Google page with proper ADDRESS. As, the address mentioned doesnt coincide with the Geo-Tag.I had hardtime searching for this place in Google.To reach here from Majestic, one possible route is, take a Metro ride to Baiyappanhalli, switch to BMTC bus, opp. Metro station, to alight at TC Palya Cross. From there take a share Auto ( I paid 50/- share).

Name its self says garden.. Full of greens... awesome maintainence ...good parking structure.. Lake in front of college... Totally superb...
