As I was planning for a trip to a best place and after doing bit of research on various tour, I decided to book a 6 days tour driving through the lush green mountains of tea gardens, spices and those tall trees where ever the eyes could reach through FlyInGroups. Well, I had planned for KERALA in which my packages included MUNNAR, THEKKEDY and KUMARAKOM.We arrived from Bangalore on 26th may as there was no direct flight to Munnar and reached Cochin airport in 45-50mins,From there the cab driver received us and we left to Munnar (it hardly takes 3 hours from Cochin) and reached to an hotel and rested for the day, Munnar was of 2 days package trip and 2nd day we visited to scenic mattupetty lake and Dam, Tea museum and other local sightseeing. On the 3rd day we left for Thekkady and again it was a package of 2 days. From Trekking to nature walks, from jungle expeditions to plantation tours Thekkady was Beautiful. 5th day we arrived to Kumarakom from Thekkady where it was 3 hours of journey. On 6th day we visited VEMBANAD LAKE for a boat ride for 2 hours. We were happy to see dense mangroves, coconut trees, and greenery all around. It’s hard to resist spending and enjoying the company of our loved ones on a floating house boat. But we have to be prepared for the Humidity and Red ants which are seen most commonly in kumarakom. Though it was a 6 days trip we had a great time giving time to each other which was a memorable moments for me. Thank you FlyInGroups for organizing such a wonderful trip.
