This huge Army Housing Society complex definitely rates as one of the better run that Ive ever visited. Anywhere. Very Very effectively administered; premises are C-l-e-a-n, no dog litter despite many pet lovers residing inside, arboriculture and greenery is aesthetic, facilities include a well equipped Clubhouse with a swimming pool, a shopping complex including a pharmacy and several doctors, tennis courts. Many activities are organized, including skating and other sports classes. The Security set up is excellent and sternly managed; needless to say discipline abounds all round. The place has an aura and vibrancy. The superb Bengaluru weather is the cherry on the cake. Wow! Simply WoW!

The society, its location, the amenities are really good. Its clean too.One big problem is the management. They dont listen to bachelors at all. They just enforce things that are not even present on paper because they know its actually not ethical. They have made rules which doesnt even make sense. Will suggest you go for other gated communities in the area.

It is a fantastic place to stay. Tons of space to walk/jog/cycle and play. It has a fully functional club house and has access card entry and exit.It is exceptionally well managed and that is a rarity in todays world.Its just 3 km from the upcoming metro station and has an Airport bus that stops right outside the gate. Security is absolutely top notch. For the price, you will not find anything better.

Well maintained, spacious, clean and green society. Security is good. Big apartments, good ventilation and natural light. On main road. Less rent.

Its a serene place, distanced from the city. Most of the people are retired Army personnel and families. Well-maintained. Only problem is the construction quality of the houses. Drainage isnt built properly at all. The flooring was very unprofessionally done. Bathrooms didnt have proper flooring as the water used to flow towards the door instead of the drain. However, this is not the case with all the buildings. Some of them are built well. Its a huge society with over 1300 apartments and lots of security. Theres a decent club with gym and a pool. There is Bank withing the society, a small shopping complex and lots of place to walk in the evenings. Wouldve given it a better rating had it not been for the construction quality.

Rules can be strict but not foolish...!!!This society location, cleanliness, amenities are good but big problem is the management. Here the rules are different for owners and tenants. Tenants relatives / friends are not allowed to use club house amenities. Because this is army complex there are lots of restrictions and rules, beware of that.1. They will charge 2500 for moving charges and another 2500 for moving out which is quite funny.2. They will not allow to move in or move out between 6PM-6AM, in case if you are late they will just stop you at the gate and dont allow inside.3. Tenant visitor vehicles are not allowed to park in tenant designated parking locations even the parking is empty. Should only park in visitor parking locations that is also fine but In case if you park they will just lock you vehicles and will ask you for vehicle documents and proofs to unlock which is again too funny.4. Here all rules are decided by management owners are nothing, they cant help you in any case. Management behaviour also very rude sometimes. So dont question them.5. There are lot of other gated communities around here, better dont opt this society.

A fairly large gated community with ample open spaces and good ambience. The walking/jogging circuit is more a kilometre. There are also gym, clubhouse, swimming pool, banquet halls and cafe. Daily needs including groceries, milk and vegetables available inside. Also has a pharmacy, boutique, salon, laundry, dental clinic and even a State Bank branch within the complex itself.

Amazing place to live here, very calm and decent people. After so much of rush in daily life we can spend more time to get relax here with all amenities and beautiful gardens.

Gated community, well laid out. Good security. Named after Maj Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the Taj hotel rescue during Mumbai blasts. Towers are airy and well spaced with double lifts. Adequate walking tracks, sports areas exists. The community is green, peaceful and well maintained. A good place

Amazing place to stay . It has a lots of open space and even the houses are very spacious. Recently the swimming pool and gym were also opened. It has a in house restaurant , convenient store, stationary shop, dry cleaning and others. Maintenance is very high but considering the facilities it provides its bearable. Security is very good and it uses My gate app for visitor management.

One of the worst societies for tenants. The MC will never support you and all they do is make and change rules at their whims. They create unnecessary issues in the tenants day to day life. Also beware of their designated dalal. He is insolent and will lie through his teeth, in fact he will go an extra mile to misguide you. If you care for your hard earned money please avoid renting a flat in this society. If you must, make sure you video record each and everything as proof otherwise you will regret it later as owner might not agree.

Owner of the most of the flats are retired army personals and from my interactions(had a conversation with 3-4) they are too sweet and helping. Society wise its a good society with lot of ventilation, greenery, other amenities such as swimming pool, gym,Table tennis etc.I havent shifted there yet but moving in this week. If you go by broker it will cost you 15 days rent+ GST, instead you can search in flat and flatmates market place with #awho #sandeepvihar.Hope this helps you :)

Very nice and well maintained society with all modern amenities. They have well equipped security team, society will not allow house shifting after 6PM. So, make sure to cross the security gate before 6PM.

Its an Army Welfare Housing Society, all of the flats are own by ex-army officers and servicemen. Society is pretty good and located in Kannamangala on Whitefield-Hoskote Road. Locality is good..you would find almost everything around it..For fitness and all, Cult fit is near by, for shopping- multiple shopping complexes are there. Macd is nearby. But apart from all of that, you would find flats in decent rate...flats are good and spacy, maintenance is also good in the society. Also, it is equipped with closed badminton court, basketball court, lawn tennis court and Volleyball court. Festivals are joyously celebrated in there!!

Well maintained and well structured building with proper planned space. Have all the facilities with emergency clinic on spot. Main gates are fully occupied with securitys and cctv. No one can easily enter the premises. Kids area, play area, pools and all have updating frequently. Include atm counters are available. Waste management are proper and large space for car parking. Wat a place....the appartments are huge..spacious..

Been living here since July 2018. And have already changed 2 houses. Keeping my fingers crossed that this third house prove to be good experience to us.First one was a penthouse, way too big for our requirement. But, it had a nice view so we enjoyed living there for almost an year and had a good experience.Never trust any brokers here. All are cheaters, once you pay them their commission they will wash their hands off you. Better to move in through a friend or owner directly. Went through a nightmare when we moved to a 4BHK in B5-1204 in the month of November 2020 from the penthouse. All the 3 toilets were damaged, they repaired it temporarily and assured us that they will get it repaired soon. The owner, a serving officer & broker, ex-army guy cheated on us and we had vacate the house within 4 months only. Somehow they managed to convince us that they are not getting labours to do the desired task for a month. After one month owner started asking us to pay for bathroom repair by saying since you have been living in this house for quite some time now. In Feb 2021, WC of the common bathroom broke down and we escalated the issue to the MC. There was no support from the MC in this matter and they said very clearly that this is between owner and the tenant and they dont involve in personal matters. On the same night owner instead of repairing the bathroom asked us to vacate the flat. When we told him that financially and because of the pandemic we would not be able to shift, he assured us that he will bear our shifting charges. We thought he is a gentleman. So in the morning we called him to request that he should not deduct the one month rent which was a part of agreement and we will take care of our other shifting charges. He refused to our request and said that neither he will pay shifting charges and will also deduct one month rent & all the damages. He had the audacity to say this when we had submitted all the pictures & list of damages to him before we moved in to his house. Many times it happened that he would do all the sweet talks in the night and in the morning he would refuse. In the mean time we had pressure from broker that we should quietly vacate the house as he is a serving officer and is much more powerful than us. Finally, to recover our 1 lac of security deposit money, we stopped paying him rent and asked him to adjust it from the deposit. Common bathroom was not in a usable condition and it was causing inconvenience to my parents who are in their mid 70s of age. Under these circumstances we decided to move in to another house. We came across one gentleman who gave this Colonel a good piece of mind and somehow he agreed to return our security deposit after deducting 15 days rent instead of one month. We also agreed to it and vacated the house. Though everyone including the MC knew that the damage in the bathroom existed before we moved in to his house & it was a manufacturing defect, owner deducted Rs. 6500 for the WC repair from the security deposit. This money is not going to make him rich or us poor, but he showed his character. Not only this I was in touch with his previous tenant also, she told me that he had deducted some 9000 Rs from her security deposit also for the same reasons.We are working people, moreover due to pandemic we didnt get much opportunity to interact with other residents, but later we came to know that there are many such owners like him and many tenants have faced this issue.Anyone looking out to buy or rent out this particular flat B5-1204 please take it at your own risk.Talking about the amenities and maintenance of the society, it is very well maintained by the MC. There is small market complex within the apartment where we get all the groceries, medical services, salon, boutique, optical shop etc. etc.As long as you follow the rules and regulations even though you dont understand them (like access card of the amenities is issued to any 4 members of the family only), it is a nice place to live.

The apartment has lavishly kept lots of open space and greenry to feel good of staying in an apartment.The amenities are surplus but gets crowded due to the number of residents.Too many rules and regulations to be followed.

Visited Sandeep Vihar today. It was a comforting thought to realise I own an apartment there. Over the years I have been witnessing this society turning into a cosiest place to live. Every single aspect of community living is looked into. Its a 30 acre sprawling property of which every inch is paid attention to and taken care of.Very well. I know its all the good work extended by the army veterans who manage and conduct the functioning of this huge society. Pleasure to be part of Sandeep vihar.

Worst management. High partiality between family and bachlors. It was so good earlier. Now you will get humiliated at each step. Guards are like land lord. Give salute to army people and talk rudely with others. People will give you bad eye in lifts, even you wait in front of your own house. Its worst. Getting out of this society was like nightmare.

Sandeep Vihar aka AWHO. I am not sure if you can buy a home there or not but definitely you can get one on rent. The society is huge with spacious flats. Its clean and has all the safety amenities along with other features inside their premises. The premise has everything inside in case of emergency starting from an ATM to a General store and pool etc etc. I personally found it the best place to stay if you work near ITPL, Its not that far and the rent and maintenance is also reasonable depending upon the space and cleanliness. Went to look up my senior Battalion officer who resides in Sandeep Vihar (Whitefield) exclusively meant for Defence Officers residential colony. An excellent residential colony which though far away from Bangalore is a calm and have better living conditions. All facilities are closely located.

50k sq.ft Clubhouse, New Diner, New shops and clean & green..still Nascent today but shaping up into a vibrant community of good neighbors 70%IT employees.

Beautifully designed flats with excellent security

Its a beautiful and well maintained place. Security is good and visitors parking is almost always available. Houses are good and each block is spaced adequately far from other blocks to avoid suffocation.

Love this community... Happy to stay here where v have ample space and is free from pollution.

I have been loving here for the last 8 months, nothing beats this place in terms of cost/sqft value and has been a great renting option for young working professionals.

I like the place as flats in this apartment are spacious and have enough space outside for playing and relaxation.We are doing Renovation works and interior works in some of the flats in this apartment.

You strictly have to go thru their designated brokers ( who are also residents) outside brokers not allowed.Some of these brokers gives you worst treatment and false information. Especially the broker / dalal named R. P. Singh.If you really want to rent in this complex then avoid this dalal, recommend you go with others.It gives me the view of how my life as a tenant would be in this complex i.e not so great.

If you are Tennant only thing you can do free is breath air. Rest everything has charge.6) Poor construction quality, leakage /seepage is common.Pros1) Nice walking facility.2) Proximity to ITPL.

The heaven on earth. Wonderful people with great mind and experience. Neat, clean, parks, loaded club house, well securied, bank, well connected to city and spacious ventilated place. You enjoy of you follow the rules of not sorry not a place to stay. Rules are strict for the betterment. No water or Electricity problem.

I can give more positives about the apartment like good location, good number of amenities, decent services for the maintenence fee we pay, kids play area, gardens/parks, parking, food/conventional store chains around the area, etc.The apartments are good for house owners (people who are/were a part of indian army) and its definitely good for civilians if the owner is good with decent standards otherwise the tenants have to go through a hard time throughout and also their advance amount while vacating the flat will not be garunteed. I think this problem exists in every part of bangalore but here its little too much. Owners they dont care and management support owners and not civilian tenants. End of the day tenants cant really go against them even if they are right and the owner is wrong.End of the day you might feel betrayed after all the sweetness showed so have to be careful here.
