Went to take few passport photographs and was disappointed with the experience. The photographer didnt seem very keen, just snapped away. I thought he will make amends in the edits, but still was not done.The end result was very low quality pics. Heads were not well positioned, and no effort was done to suggest to sit straight. The flash on face was not altered and has a flustered look.As an old customer of the GK Vale brand, this is very poor. I wouldnt recommend this branch for sure. Not sure of the other branches.

Have been here to take a passport size photo. the taken photo was not good in posture so we asked to retake as we needed it to give for professional needs. the photographer denied to take again and when insisted he asked for extra money and very rude to us... Extremely unprofessional attitude and we tried calling to the customer care there was no response at all... so if you need just a photo to be printed on a piece of paper then go for them

I asked if I could get the Matt photo frame done in one daywear it usually takes 2 days but Naveen helped me and got it delivered in 10 hours now that is good service and keeping customer in mind. Keep up the good work Naveen.

Extremely pricey. Moreover clumsy work. We were charged nearly 3500 for two 10x12 frame photos that too with poor editing work. Also unprofessional and arrogant behaviour from the staff. Wish Id never visited the store.

I surely dont get how they got 4.1 stars since the store is really disappointing. Their charges are extremely high and their attitude is very unprofessional. I thought their work would be great seeing their rates but was sorely disappointed. They charge 5500 for a single 10x 15 inch framed photo and 5 worked photos. Please dont use their services if you value their money. We got around 400 photos just by employing a professional photographer for 3 hours. Oh yeah and they charge Rs 30 for a single 4x6 inch print.

The quality of GK Vale is unquestionable. Of course, the prices are what they are, and you get what you pay for. My recent (Jan 2021) experience with GK Vale, Kothanur was beyond just quality. The highly skilled staff was very professional, and patient through my constant push to make edits. Special mention of Mr. Naveen who diligently edited the picture and explained to me the why not if something could not be done. The experience was very satisfying. Thank you, GK Vale Kothanur.

Very expensive. We did a family shoot and they charged little over 1000 rupees for a single soft copy. They also quoted around 10k for a frame which we didnt take. We ended spending 5k for 4 soft copy pics as we didnt want to return empty.

Experience with GK Vale, Kothanur was really good, We were going there for our passport photos towards closing time, I have called them in advance to wait for us, they waited for us and Mr. Naveen helped us patiently, we had multiple photos and even then they were patient to get the right click. Out of all the GK Vale I have visited, GK Vale Kothanur seems to be way below their standards.Not worth the price.I got a photo taken and framed on 1st January 2020 and its already coming off. Its a real embarrassment to give a poor quality gift.Rude and inadequate service.Extremely cheap product.Request : A minimal training in how to be professional for the staffs might be a good idea!

I happen to restore a black n white picture. Though the pic is old, the final edited digital image looks clear. Its my longtime wish to frame it. Thanks GK vale kothanur for making it happen.Good staff who suggested the right frames.I will come back again.

If your planning to get a frame go few metres from gkvale where theres a shop that create frames based on your description and even gk vale imports these frames from them for cheap that they sell 3 times higher of their cost

During this pandemic and lockdown, the owner and photographers we’re really helpful and understanding. Spent over 2 hours for a proper family photoshoot. They did not rush and also took several candid shots. Their services were super good, way beyond the cost we had paid. Heartily would recommend them. Amazing people!

I would Highly recommend using sagar photographers for my baby portrait. photographers made sure we were all looking our best. Within a couple of hours of placing an order at the Kothanur branch I phoned in for a change. I had placed the order for 1 canvas print and 3 ordinary photo prints with frames which I wanted the same day. They said it being friday things would be slow and they can deliver only the following monday evening. I realized that the rates offered we too exhorbitant for the 3 photo prints with frames and called to cancel them. I wanted only the canvas. I was first told by an executive that order cancellations are not possible, your order is in pipe line already. In many words, I told them that they would loose a customer for life if they are so inflexible. They just kept harping on the same old tune- there is no cancellation sir. After a few minutes they called back again with an offer. For the amount towards cancelled order lines, they will retain the GST and a processing fee an give back 60% of the amount. I said I am not interested in loosing money like that. I would like a full refund. I wondered where on the pipeline the order was which made things so hard to refund. I was given no details. I refused their offer. I am now stuck with the bitter aftertaste of GK Vales customer service. In these tough times the least businesses can do is to be more customer focussed and flexible. I suppose these guys will never learn.

The worst place I have seen, its purely the biggest scam , for a photo frame of 1218they have charged a whopping amount of 5500rs and for each soft copy they were charging 1250 rs and I had taken 20 photos and with the rates, I literally fell from my seat seeing the rates

The staffs were not at all ready to listen to customers, what they want. They are just trying to over rule the customers and not showing respect. Arrogant nature. Today, i.e, 01-10-202 at 6.30 I went there to design 7 sets of certificate. But the way your staff (one person who sit infront of the computer and was sleeping) behaved me in a bad way. I was really shocked.See, if i know everything about photoshop, corel draw and i have all the printing facilities, then why i should come to GK vale? Your staffs response really made me to think in this way.In nutshell, not at all customer friendly.I dont know why this GK vale in kothanur for? To serve the need of their customers or for to degrade their customers or the people of kothannur? Really I dont know. Very expensive. They charge 2.5 times on what G K Vale charges online. For prints online it is 12 rupees but they charge 30 rupees per print. Staff is really helpful and courteous but please verify and confirm cost before getting anything done.

Happy with their service. I had to get a soft copy of passport photo which I had taken earlier, but didnt have the Sl.No. Called them up and mentioned the date on which the photo was taken. They send me the soft copy some time after and called back to ensure if received the right one. I really appreciate their effort.

I had a death in the family and as part of the death ceremony rituals, needed a photograph of my mother printed and framed. It was lockdown period in India and it was looking tough for me to get this done. GK Vale Kothanur went out of its way to make necessary arrangements and I was able to get things done on time. GK Vale is a very popular and well networked Photography establishment in Bengaluru. I have visited some other of their branches for taking Visa and Passport sized picture and the experience was very nice before. But this time I just had a terrible experience from GK Vale, Kothanur Branch.Eventhough this is the nearest branch this was my first visit. I went there for taking passport size photograph. There were only 2 staff at the studio at that time and one was a photographer. He took my pic in a flash of second and made it ready for print. Till then everything was fine and then I asked him for a soft copy of the picture.First he send me a file with very low quality and my face was out of focus. I asked him for a higher quality pic and he asked me my purpose. I told him I might need to upload it in some other applications online in future and told him to give a better quality pic. He just decided I will only need a lower quality pic for online applications.The photographers was just arrogant and his attitude was not good for any customer coming here to take picture. He could have politely told me their company policy wont allow him to send me original file but instead he kept arguing. He even made statements like they have some copyright in my picture that they have taken and why do you want to go to other studios for taking printouts later etc...I can understand that an established like Gk Vale it might not be profitable to take pictures and give the original file for the price of a passport pic. But customer doesnt have anything to do with it. After all I have only asked for a better quality picture of mine and need to listen all these stuff from some arrogant staff there.After long arguments he agreed to increase the quality of picture which still didnt meet my expectation. When we visit some place like the least we would expect is better customer service since we see stories of experience in the reviews. But please avoid this store if you expect that here.

I heard a photographer named Sagar in your studio and I wanted him to do in-door maternity shoot for my wife.He has a lot of patience and passion toward his work and that can be seen from the pictures he take. He is really cool and amazing photographer at this age i have come across. He captured the way I wanted it.All the pics are edited in epic way.Thanks Sagar, I would definitely recommend your studio for my family and friends.

Amending reviews after taking the service. The staff is very rude and have zero skill on customer management. Too much attitude they show. It doesnt look like they need business or engrossed in arrogance of the G K Vale legacy. I took the family portrait and when I received the frames I ordered, there were defect and when I went back, they kept the frames for 1 week and trying did minor corrections but bluffing me that they have done rework and fresh print. I caught their lies and challaged them and they were red faced.To my bad luck, I asked them to print additional photos (Soft Copies part of my pakage) on a frame I brought and they deliberately printed very dark color photos and I felt like throwing the photos to trash. Very unprofessional photographer. Onwer of the shop looked little friendly but the photographer (may be giving service) behave like the Boss!Better go for other shop than this one.

G K Vale is Very professional and the experience is very good. I have used them for multiple visa photos and you can depend on them to get the measurements and specifications right. They are prompt about the service too. They also do albums for different occasions and have templates and samples which you quickly customize. They are slightly on the expensive side but worth it given the hassle free experience. However, if you are one who prefers to do your own photo editing, it might look like a rip off.
