So far one of the best places to buy any art materials in Bangalore, situated in the annexure building and same premises of Chitra Kala Parishad, Bengaluru. There are sufficient parking for bikes, but parking of cars could be a challenge, especially so if there is an exhibition or event. They offer a steady discounts on bulk purchases and for regular customers. The staff is pretty friendly and knowledged.The only disadvantage I do see is that its almost situated in the basement of annexure building and has a narrow stairs leading to it. Though there is a display area, I am sure it hasnt been updated in years time. One thing for sure, if you dont get an art stuff, the possibility that its in any other store is rare. They do have a legacy sister concern in Chickpet, which is managed by different sons as far as I understand.

Very rude and ruthless people managing this store. I bought art materials worth Rs.2500 and was delivered. One brush just Rs.50 (cheap quality stuff) was defective, bristles just came to my hand. I informed about the issue with the brush. The person over phone was so rude that he literally blamed me for damaging the brush and made me feel like a culprit. They dont respect or listen to customers, just money minded guys. I regret that I bought from this store. They should learn from flipkart and Amazon how to treat customers and how to do business which is customer centric. Any defective products you can simply return or replace at these online stores.. Only consolation is discount at this store. They wont replace even if the damage is from their end. They dont want you tell about any problem in their items. Its like buying stuff from Burma Bazaar market, once you buy its over! Wont recommend this store to anyone who want good customer treatment and quality products!

You go to this shop as a newbie and the owner will take you for granted and sell you the items which he is not able to send otherwise. I went to the shop travelling for 1.5 hrs just by listening to people’s reviews and they sold me a very old paint. When i got home and opened the box, it was already open, and very bad smell was coming from it.asked him to refund the money he just ignored . Hate this shop that paint was worth 700 to me and now i cant even use it.

Possibly the best place in Namma Bengaluru for quality art supplies at nearly wholesale rates. Their inventory is quite comprehensive and too long to list out. They also have an outlet on Avenue Road. Nice part of this location is the art exhibitions at Chitra Kala Parishar which one can admire during the same visit.

I went to pick drawing pens & other materials as my daughter wanted different ink shade pens & the sales girl got in touch on WhatsApp & got the alternative shades patiently handed over pens & other instruments.

Art center is inside the Chitra Kala Parishad campus. Went there to get some technical pens. The man at the counter was really helpful in finding the best pen for my project.

I like this store as its the only store that sells wide range of materials in terms of art, but very rude staff at chitrakala parishad. Simple things like masking tape which is available in the market for 210 is sold at 330, sponge which is available at 10 outside is sold at 110. When asked, they say the one available in the market are duplicate and different in quality. The customers are not fools plz. When asked about the reason the manager got very rude. They also charge additional charges on card payments (which is not allowed as per the law and I even showed him the memo from the rbi ). Instead of solving the issue he started being abusive and rude. I am OK you selling the good at premium prices (thats your right), but am not OK paying you the card charges even if its a small amount (thats my right and what you are doing in unlawful)
