Wonderful Place!!I visited this temple in the last week of December on a weekday.Being a weekday the crowd was little less and it was a very peaceful darshanam. There are 2 ways to reach the temple.1st one is on the main road and this road is very rough and patchy.2nd one is next to JSS college and this road is in good shape. There is ample parking space and the charge is 20/- for a car.Inside the temple, there are 12 Shivalingas representing lingas from different parts of India. In the evening there will be cool breeze around the temple and also the view is wonderful.Overall very nice experience.

Outskirts of Bangalore south-Peaceful, silent-Covid 19 rules and regulations is strictly followed-12 jyothir linga / shiva-Parking for both 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler is present- specially of Karthik month ther is facility for lighting the diyasThe interior of the temple could have been maintained in a better way... Decorated each Shiva is great way... Especially the interior of the temple mantapas could have painted with colors n the significance of each Shiva Linga could have presented in a better way...But its definitely a peaceful place especially in early morning before 8 am or after 6 pm for enjoying the outskirts of the city in a peaceful manner...

Can reach top 🔝from 2ways., one beside JSS college, another little ahead next to SBI bank,. Omkareshwar temple with all 12 jyothirlingas surrounded.Omkareshwara Hill is a small hill in Rajarajeshwari Nagar in South Bangalore. With 2800 ft above the sea level this place is one of the highest points in Bangalore. A clock tower on Omkar Hills is the second largest in the world, according to an article in The HinduTimings: Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 12.30 pm and 4.30 pm to 8 pm.The Ashrama campus has several temples - namely Sri Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Temple, Sri Matsya Narayana Temple, Sri Nagadevata Temple,Sri Vana Durga Temple, Sri Ganapathi Temple and Sri Munishwara Temple - and a giant tower clock which is one of the biggest clock in the world. Apart from the temples, the ashrama campus is having a Vishwamitra Veda Vidyalaya and a Goshala.

This place gives peace of mind as it is surrounded by trees. This temple has many Lingas from different parts of India. You get single rudraksha at Rs40. This temple lacks maintenance around the temple, like big tower watch is not working, weeds are all around the temple, the road from the main road to temple is not good.

There are 12 jyotirlinga temples within this temple. And apart from 12 shivlingas there is a huge shivlinga personal to this temple. It was a very peaceful experience. Good place to visit for North indians or to take your North Indian religious visitors. On 12/3/21 entry fees was 100 for gangajal, 150 for prasad and 250 both combined. You get to pour gangajal on main shivlinga. Additionally 20 for parking.

Great place to visit. There was no trouble accessing the place ...road was well laid. We took directions from Google maps. Watch out for the timings. In the evening, the gate opens at 4:30 pm. Apart from the 12 replicas of Jyotirlinga, there is also Matsya Narayana temple - based on the 1st avatar of Lord Vishnu. There is also display of all religions around a big tree - this place could use some maintenance. Offers some beautiful views of BLR. You can then head over to the Jyotirlinga temple from here. Plenty of parking both for 2 and 4 wheelers. Public toilets are there, however couldnt find wash basin.

This temple is a peaceful place to worship. During morning 7.00A.M at Saturday there will be no rush.At 7.00 to 7.30 am pooja as well as abhishek will be performed. There is no nearby shops to purchase flowers or any pooja things. So it is better to get pooja items ready from your home or from places where you start your journey. From 7a.m to 7.30 am during weekend if you go to temple by purchasing flowers and milk packets they will perform abhishek and decorate lord omkar in front of us.So its good to get these blessings during early morning .There is no shops available from mailasandra to the temple gate to purchase things for pooja as well as there is no bus or auto facilities available nearby and the mobile signal will also be less around temple surrounding so be precautions about this and book your auto or car for departure as well for return back to your home from temple during your trip plan for this temple visit. In this temple they wont get any offering of money in their pooja plate so put your offerings in the hundial provided.Always have a water bottle and snacks with you, when you go to this temple because their is no shop ,auto or car to hire for emergency purposes around this temple.

Inside the Temple where you can see the 12 Jyotirlinga...best place to relax your body and mind. Also they have a place to meditate.. During my childhood days we used to go there every Sunday to listen the clock sound where it used to say OM for 5 times then bell sound as per the time...If its 10o clock it used to make the bell sound for 10 times..Now It is not working I guess...

This temple is away from the crowds, about 4 Kms from the famous RR temple. The road leading to the temple is good and no traffic as such. It has different type of Lingas from all over India and usually less crowded on weekdays so can have a peaceful time and get back.A meditation hall is available as well beautifully built and maintained. Backside of Omkar temple is another temple and you can give that a visit as well.No worries on the parking as ample space is available but you need to drive uphill and the path is a little rocky and its a mud road, repair works going on and another temple is being built so maybe a year from now it may have a better road uphill and also another temple to visit.

The front entrance is muddy and when i visited this temple i saw that some construction work is going on so hopefully either the stair case or the road might be laid here but the back entrance is good so that you can drive the bikes/cars almost near the temple and park them on the hill itself.Overall best temple of Lord Shiva to have the glimpse of 12 Jyotirlingas at one place.
