Its a beautiful park, lots of trees, plants, flowers, fresh air, no noise and peaceful. There is a track to walk , jogg, there is a place where we can do meditation, yoga, exercise etc, separate playing are for children, where they can play. There is a small temple inside the park, cleanliness is maintained inside the park.. overall nicely maintained by the bbmp.

This park is a place where there are many trees and plants and also swings for children. It is a place for enjoyment where children and people can go to walk, run, play or sit. This park is specially for people you has to much of tensions in Their mind as this park is filled with peace. Lot of people come to this park to meditate as I have noticed even family is welcomed but make sure to keep it clean! Now talking about how big is the park. Park is decent big I think the radius of the park would be around 400 meters .. taking 10 rounds you will be done with your cardio along with fresh air.. thank you.

Madhavan Park in Jaya Nagar East, is very well connected by public transport including metro and is at about a 5 minute walk away from the closest metro rail station. Buses and Autos are also available right at the entrance of the park, making it extremely accessible from across the city. There is sufficient parking space around the park for both two and four wheelers. The park has an attached basketball court, a skating rink, washrooms, a stage, landscaping, statues, a fountain, benches and low seating facilities, drinking water, lights/lamps, designated play areas and walking/ jogging tracks for people of all ages. The walking tracks have tactile surfaces to prevent slippage and any untoward accidents. They are set amidst lush greenery. However, the walking tracks are not wide enough for easy commuting of two way pedestrian traffic. Ample seating is provided in the form of low benches that are wide enough for comfortable seating for the elderly and people of other age groups.It has separate play areas in the open for children as well as toddlers which are equipped with slides, merry go rounds monkey bars among other metal equipment. Due to the equipment being placed in the open and subject to harsh weather conditions, better maintenance is required to keep them in a usable state. The park is heavily shaded with trees which allow for shaded waiting areas.The lights are rather dim but are placed in frequent, regular intervals. Overall, it is a good place for adults, and for children with adult supervision.

The park needs to be more safe as the surface near slide and swing is very rough and kids get hurt. However it is in a good location.

This one is a tiny little park. you have ample of parking space here. Also, the park houses a children playing area and workout area for adults. Statutes placed inside the park makes it even more beautiful.

It is a park in Jayanagar 1st block,Bangalore.It is a nice place for walking and exercise.It has good excercise equipment installed.It is full of greener with huge trees.It has good number of benches for old people to relax.I am giving 4 star bcoz pathway provided for walking is narrow and it is not suitable for jogging.You find it difficult to overtake somebody while jogging.

Park is not so big but its okay for morning walk. Instead you can go to Lalbagh botanical which is hardly 500meters away to witness wonderful environment.

Madhavan park is a prominent landmark location in South Bangalore. It has a sports complex which has facilities from athletics to public swimming pool. Pleanty of eatouts, loads of opportunities for shopping, a great place to live and a good place for businesses too. It is in very close proximity to Jayanagar 4th block shopping complex, Basavanagudi, Shantinagar etc. Very well connected by public transport including metro as the nearest metro rail station is at about 7 to 8mins walk.

This place has evolved... its become little more sophisticated... we see school kids doing drills etc..before we could see lovebirds wasting their time here

This park is a calm, green place where people - adults and children alike - can have fun. There is a walking/jogging track and more than five adult exercise equipments installed. There are play areas for toddlers as well as older children. The park equipment does need better maintenance. Also the area near the childrens play area has bits of glass on the ground. The lighting could be better in the evening. Overall, it is a good place for adults, and for children with adult supervision.

Its a wonderful place to visit. Lot of Apartments are coming up in this area. Very convenient for bus travel and Autos are available when ever need arises. Overall it is a calm place free from traffic.
