One of Bangalores better secluded and maintained lake at civilization alongside. As it is situated at jakkur where highway is really close by and locality mostly under developing condition. To reach here has just recently got easier than before. Parking can be a issue if space permits according to the crowd. Other than that the view at Lake and walk lane is just breathtaking.

Very well place for a morning walk , best views from apartments nearby especially century and pelican groove!Bicycles not allowed now although it was allowed before .Fun fact - youll come by dogs wholl pose better than you lol .Oct and Jan best time as variety of birds are visible , if youre a bird watcher , definitely a place to spend time here with your dslr.

Jakkur Lake is quite a big lake. Well maintained. Walking/jogging track around the lake is well maintained. Track is about 10 feet wide. One complete walk around the lake would cover upto 4 KM distance. Lake is open from 6AM to 10 AM and from 4PM to 7PM. Pets are not allowed in the park. There are number of setups for kids and adults to play/exercise with.

Good place for jog, run and relax. Great view of the lake especially during sunrise and sunsets. Good time for the kids young and old with swings, table games and the wow.. obstacle course. Kids will love it.

Excellent place for walking and jogging. No bicycles allowed. Weekends crowd expected. A good place for bird watchers...lots of geese, pelicans nesting and flying around...

It was refreshingly clean(had just stopped raining)!!The water was crystal clear...reflecting the setting sun.(playing hide and seek behind the clouds). I got a rainbow too! And the hibiscus!....of every hue and color...the pink ones are unbelievable..To top it all you have Rani an adorable pup in black and white! She would come running to greet you.

I would call this the best maintained lake in Blore ! Fantastic spot to watch/photograph birds - especially, pelicans swooping down close to the water. On a normal evening 4-6pm or in the morning 6:30-9am you can comfortably identify 20+ species of birds

Nice place to hangout in evening or afternoon. Timings are as usual morning 5-9am and evening 4-7pm. In the lake you can spot a wide variety of birds. The only downside of this park is that it is not connected and therefore you will have to go and come back the same path it doesnt form a circuit. The approx lake walking path circumference is 3.5 kms. It is hardly 500 mtrs from main road and easily accessible. However it does gets dark in evenings due to improper lighting. Overall a nice place in the heart of the city.

A regular visitor to this place... However Covid took away that luxury for the time being. :-( .. those who are fond of yoga and Instagram ... Can visit this place for wonderful pictures ☺️. Apart from the huge trees... If you can take a complete round .. you will find innumerable varieties of hibiscus and many other flowers on the other side... The small island 🏝️ is home to many birds ..mostly the pelicans. The lake is full of 🎏 fish... They have made a work out place as well... Where you can try rope climbing and exercise bars as well. The connecting part of both sides is a little scary coz its not a proper path way...just hope the lake authority take a look into it. Jakkur lake is one of the best lakes in the area, with nice walk track or around 4 kms on lake side. The greenery is well maintained. We can see all natural beauties here e.g. lots of birds, flowers, fruits, plants, trees and lots of water in lake which help in relaxing us.

The best place for walking, Running, jogging. The lake view is good and well maintained by BBMP. Vist once for freash air and in November to January you can see birds from other countries.

1. It is a beautiful and Serene lake with two islands that house range of migratory birds, the2. The walking space and track is basically a dirt patch and feels a little unsafe3. The roads leading to and out of the lake have no street lights and feels shady.4. Finding public mode of transportation is difficult and expensive.
