Its good for a one day outing. You can closely see many animals in the safari. Should definitely take young kids here as itll be really fascinating for them. I liked the Aviary the best here as the birds were really beautiful. Also, butterfly park has a lot of different types of butterflies that can be seen, but only in a particular season.

First of all Its very well planned and maintained park. Everything here is properly organized, whether it is tickets or toilets or wheelchair accessibility.Safari is worth as you will get to see Tigers, Lions from very close.Butterfly garden is well maintained.Zoo is also well maintained. Cleaning was utmost at all places. Worth to spend a day with family and friends.

A variety of Mammals, Reptiles and Birds of both exotic and Indian origin comprising 1941 animals belonging to 94 species are displayed in captivity. In addition there is a Museum and an Auditorium for the visitors education. Most prominent and interesting ones are Thamin deer, Hog deer, King Cobra, Crocodiles, Himalayan black bear, Panthers and various birds. Present extent of Zoo area is 12 Ha and it is under the process of expansion by adding another 28.00 Ha. Eight new enclosures will be constructed in the expansion area.

Good to bring family.Usually too crowded.If you are not getting Safari no problem get Zoo and Butterfly park ticket, that will be enough.Food items inside is limited so better bring own food in plastic free containers.And get online ticket over mail before 3 to 5 days prior visiting. 2 wheeler will be more helpful to reach

Well maintained National Park. Easy to reach via road by Car. Online ticket booking option is available. Multi package option is available. Non AC Bus Safari with Zoo is best. Ticket per adult is 300 and kid is 150. Safari was awesome. We saw almost all the animals listed in the board. Best entertainment for Kids and families. Buses are maintained very well. Weekdays is best to avoid crowd. Zoo map is a perfect guide. There is a option to take small car for 100, but we walked. We enjoyed the climate by walking seeing all the animals. They are very much visible and zoo is well maintained with lot of trees around with all the names and medical purpose written on the board. Details about all the animals are written with complete details. Would recommend everyone to visit this with your family without fail.

I must confess, our vist to Bannerghatta Park far exceeded our expectation. The tickets are available online which makes it convenient. The place is closed every Tuesday. The parking lot is close by to the park and its easy to find space to park.The entry was seamless and with any hassle. The park is huge and has numerous animals, birds and reptile. Kids would surely enjoy the experience. You should dedicate about 2 hours to visiting the park. We didnt use the battery operated buggy, so cant say much about that experience.You should spare additional time for the safari and the butterfly park.

You can see clearly all types of animalsLike Tiger , Bear ,loin, crocodile, ostrich, giraffe and Butterfly museum etc.Park is perfectly full maintain ,plastic free environment and beautifully cleaned .Feeding the animals & Littering in the park is strictly prohibited.you can observe the animals in their natural habitat.You can take food but plastic is prohibited so I will recommend you not to take package food .The cost of the grand safari with the zoo entrance fee is also reasonable.must visit place with family and friends.One full day will be required for visiting the park.

A good place to have fun with family friends.. nicely maintained . But ticket is bit costly.. better carry your own food as inside food quality is not good.. overall good experience with lavish green area. Butterfly park is good but not much butterfly when we visited.

I visited Bannerghatta biological park around 2 weeks back. Jungle safari was a pleasant experience where I got to see lion, Bengal Tiger, White Tiger which is hard to see in any national park. They have an adjacent zoo which has Giraffe, Hippopotamus etc.We enjoyed the experience and to add to the enjoyment it was raining and weather was quite pleasant. I recommend it.

The Safari experience is a must and worth the fare. The food would be better if brought from home. Very happy with maintenance and arrangements at the park.Absolutely thrilling experience to watch animals in their natural habitat. The safari was the best part of the park. Only disappointment was could not find any lions. The butterfly park was a big disappointment. The other parts of the zoo are good. People have buggies to roam around the park which is a huge relief for old people and people who go with kids. Better to book tickets online for the safari before hand for a hassle free experience.

Easy to explore on foot,may be it will take an hour to three based on how leisurely one chooses to explore. There are battery cars operated aplenty for those who prefer being on the move rather than getting tired with walking. The cars halt at every enclosure, allowing visitors to get a closer look at the animals. Full marks to the authorities.The Safari ride guarantees the sight of tigers, lions, bears, elephants and deers. Personally, I dont think it is any worthy as one gets to see all these animals in the zoo as well. For those who are used proper wildlife Safaris across the country (like I do), this safari is no comparable. The joy of a safari ride in a proper forest is a lot more than in a closed large enclosures. Nevertheless, the authorities handle it well enough for visitors to return home with a smile. Since the ride is within closed enclosure, one gets to sight the animals come what may. So the myth of earlier rides better holds no good.Contrary to popular opinion, I feel the zoo should be explored first (if on foot) before tiring out.The butterfly park offers something interesting for students in particular.Important factsThe online Booking covers entry fee for the places mentioned. However the ticket for battery cars inside the zoo needs to bbe purchased separately. Parking fee can be paid online. Be informed that the safari jeep doesnt take visitors inside the zoo or butterfly park.Verdict - Go for it for kids sake. Just outskirts of Bangalore!!

A Good spot for Animal Lovers... Nice Place for Safari Experience. There is a zoo also... Karnataka Tourism have to Make more Feasibility to zoo. There are only few maps over the Zoo. Maps should be kept in many places around the Zoo. Toilet facilities should added more in the Zoo.Proper Entry And Exit ways should be Implied. Drinking water should be kept in more places. Theres some difficulty in finding the Routes.Its too good its a plastic free zone... Plastics are not allowed here...

Since the park area is too limited, it wont be a good experience for those want to see and picturize the wild animals in their natural habitat. But the safari offers the common public enough to see the wild animals on a close range.Its a one hr long safari and I suggest to avail jeep or car for the best experience comparing to bus. I also felt the charges are bit higher.

Amazing park. Plan a full days journey here. A good amount of eateries to eat close by, nice gift shops, a lovely Safari and zoo. A nice getaway with the family not very far of from easily accessible corners of the city.

The place was very good anybody thinking of going there can go without giving a second thought.Do go to butterfly park its good to click pictures.While going to the zoo dont take maina it will give you tour of zoo in 45 minutes and u wont get the chance to get down also.

I went with my family.. It was an unplanned trip but I enjoyed alot.. I carried my lunch.. We reached there around 12:30 pm ate lunch on the parking and after sometime went for safari around 2pm it was 40- 45mins ride on Non AC bus.. And Im happy about safari ride.. I will add pictures of the safari ride.. After safari we entered the zoo park and I felt happy spending time with my family around the place.. And after spending good time we came out at 5pm

Bannerghatta biological park is worth to cost and natural experience of different species.I would recommend everybody to take safar non AC or AC buses both are fine .one more thing is few of you might have question like if you delay by any time after purchasing online tickets dont worry ,they dont main strict hours you take go to next bus .Fee for safari and zoo worth a while.Me and my family enjoyed to fullest .There is a facility for lunch near ticket counter good food hygiene!.Most satisfying part is Animals are very good shape and well maintained.I recommend to take early safari 10 to 11 30 Am..Animals will be more active and satisfying for you as well. 🙂

Has improved a lot since my last visit.More needs to be done w.r.t cleanliness and safety.Many animals and birds that I saw last time, are missing.Butterfly park is what we liked the most, but it is not being maintained well.I felt the entry cost also a bit higher. Please make it reasonable.

The place is well maintained. There are arrow marks on the road to guide you through the zoo in such a manner that you dont miss anything. Theres also a jungle safari in which you have to sit in a caged bus and its a tour of around 45 mins inside the national park where you can see animals like tiger, lion, bear, deer etc in a kind of natural habitat( not caged like in the zoo)

Reminisced with fond goody goody old memories of my childhood..but this time with my family. It has improved leaps and bounds...right from ease of online booking, quening, people and staff...so friendly and guiding at each point. Facilities are kind of top class including the toilets, car parking and their maintenance. Loved Safari : Herbivorous, Elephant, Bear, Lion and Tiger. Do not miss Butterfly and insect park. Ofcourse last but not least the zoo captive friends. Take enough water, snacks, though there are shops to indulge too

About Bannerghatta National Park what ever I say its less..bcoz it was a great experience visiting Zoo, Safari and butterflies park.. we visited the site on a weekend and it was over crowded but still its operations are maintened well and staff around were very helpful.. very comfortable nd comming environment.. kudos to entire #bannerghattabiological team..

A small jungle lodges safari park at the edge of Bennerghatta Park which needs to be entered from Kanakapura main road (15 mins from main road and 25 Km’s from city ) . Has around a dozen wooden log huts lodge cabins and three with AC for residents who need to book online on jungle lodges website only to gain entrance. Scenic place for a quick getaway for Bangalore for a day outing (10am to 5pm) for stay (12 noon to next day 1030 am). Priced at Rs 4500 per person incl room and Bfast lunch dinner. Safari to national park and butterfly park extra available with a morning nature walk . Highly recommend for any nature lover . Chances of seeing an elephant possible while deer is common. Cheetah or tiger is possible if lucky too . Car parking available too. Manager Mr Ravindra is ex RFO and a gentleman with very courteous staff who have or of experiences to share if u make them a good friend during your stay :)

Safari was okay..Must visit place in Bengaluru..Better to have online booking for heep Safari..All the animals are present..There are mainly three parts of the park.Safari for mainly lion,tiger,bear and deer..Zoo for maily exotic birds like ostrich,emu and other animals..Good collection of birds as well..Third is the butterfly park which is good as well..Overall a very good placeAdvise is to plan for atleast 4-5 hours for entire tour..Must visit place

Zoo and safari worth visiting once a year. Kids love the place. But pack something from home to eat. The restaurant and the roadside food are not hygiene at all. Safari experience is good. I have captured lots of video so couldnt post much image.

Worthu dude!We went to Zoo and Safari on a weekday and hence less crowd, which was great.Our toddler enjoyed a lot. The place has improved dramatically over the last few years. Its very clean, and all the animals seem to be well taken care of.The safari is about 30 to 45 mins. Zoo is about 2.5 kms stretch, so carry water and snacks, and please dont litter (there are many dustbins in the zoo). All of us had a memorable time.

We went in the weekend with a sudden plan. Overall it is really Superb!! We reached Bannerghatta Park by 12:40PM we had food in the parking lot itself and started around 2:00PM. We took a NON-AC Bus for the safari. There was a huge crowd once you enter the zone, staff will guide you to the Safari Bus. They will do a small small group and made us to wait till our turn. We waited for 30min approx and then real journey starts, the Safari Bus Driver covered almost all the area to show the animals. He waits for a while near the animal to take photos also he gives the information of the respected animal. The staffs are really Good and they are very Supportive. We initially thought to go with Jeep for Safari but there was no availability of the individual vehicles. All vehicles were booked through online. So if anyone wish to have individual vehicle you can book it in advance through online. Best Safari time will be Morning 10 AM and Evening last trip that is 4 or 4:30 PM. Staffs feed the animals around 5:30 PM so all the animals will gather near the roadside which makes you to see all the animals inside. After Safari we visited Butterfly Garden. Staffs Inside the Doom explains the life cycle of a Butterflies. also you can find some more details in the small museum kind of place. After that we started towards Zoo. Upon the zoo not sure we got a feel/thought that Mysore Zoo is better compared to Bannerghatta. Even you have huge crowd it is spacious inside and every one wears masks and follows covid protocols. Animal lovers should visit this park. Kids enjoyment TON!!! Of you plan for last Safari then you need to visit other places till your turn comes.

Best outing for nature lovers near bangalore. I loved jungle safari than butterfly park or zoo. Very organised and well maintained park. All the animals, birds and what not, you get to see many out here. Weekends are generally crowded. 2-3 hours time is what it all takes to cover. Pic a good camera if you are planning to travel here.

National park has all the facilities available like restaurant,locker, washrooms etc. Online and offline booking are available for zoo, butterfly park, safari and parking. There is no time boundation for online and offline tickets.Good place for nature lover, wide varities of animal. Best way to explore the safari through non ac bus. Restaurant here serve limited no. of food items. Time to visit between 10 to 4 pm.

The place was really awesome.Its a really great place to hangout with family & friends.I enjoyed alot.I only miss not seeing many butterflies as I had alot of expectations of seeing many colourful butterflies & clicking some nice pics.I would recommend this place for only watching the animals but not butterflies.

Better to do Safari (Any time between 10:00 to 1:00 (1hr)) - Butterfly Park - Food from Hill View Restaurant (Inside Zoo) (Even places are there to bring, sit and eat home food) - Then roam around Zoo. Better to book ticket online, then no need to wait in queue.

It was pleasant being a viewer of this biological park. Felt good watching most of the animals healthy except that white peacock that may have some illness. Staff are good enough as well as cooperative. Entry fees including bus safari was 300 par person for adults. They also have arrangments of battery operated vehicle to have a quick look at the park specially for the aged people and it costs rs 100 per person and rs 50 for children.Bus Safari was excellent Royal Bengal tiger, lions, white tigers, deers, bears, bisons etc were roaming around their zones casually. We saw most of them very closely and this was fully satisfying.

No words to explain about this zoo. What a joy to look at the animal so close. Salute the staffs of the zoo they very well maintained and taking care of animals.We went to the jeep and enjoyed to look bears, tigers and lions. The albino tiger was very special. We spotted two tiger cups also.Whenever I go Bangalore definitely I will go this place.

Paisa wasool, the biological park was amazing. Especially, compared to that safari we paid 250 for.Here you can see a variety of animals, birds, and reptiles for a ticket price Rs 100. Except the white tiger and lion. You can see every other animal which would have seen during the safari ride.

Small zoo.Have Forest safari.you can see tiger lion elephant bear deer very close.but feel like riding inside animals cage. Dont expect much forest feel.300 for forest +zoo100 for zoo only.

Go as early as possible..You will have less crowd. Buggy service needs minimum 9 members, which is a bummer especially in summer time. But however if you visit early you can cover pretty much by walk. Inside the Park there is one hotel, which has mainly Egg items im the morning. Better have breakfast and go. You can get bottle water though. Ambience is really nice. You have safari as well if you interested.

I wandered through the zoo and took the bus safari. Zoo is just like any other zoo. You will have to walk some distance to get around.However, the bus safari is unique. You can safely see the animals get very close to the bus. They have animal compartments. In each compartment, particular animals are allowed to roam freely. E.g. tiger compartment, lion compartment, etc. But thats it. You wont get the thrill of actual safari, where you wait for hours, track the animal and then finally pull out your camera to take some magnificent photos.Also the bus driver will help you take photos but ask you for tip when you return.The bus safari feels very short (25-30 min).

We went last week, it was warm but we enjoyed a lot. There is no temperature check for us when we visited, places was crowded however you can maintain distance from others. We bought tickets online with parking and safaari included. You can cover zoo in about 3 hours with adequate rests. We carried our own food and there are lot of places where your family can sit and have food. We saw bear, tiger and lions and others. It is quite a walk so be prepared or choose a golf cart at 100rs per person for elders and others who cant walk too much. Safaari was outstanding we saw tigers amd bears resting on road, 300rs per trip is expensive but we didnt mind.

A visit to nature in a hustling bustling metro!!BBBP is a zoo well stacked with various animals, birds and reptiles. Zebras and giraffes are a delight to watch and so is spotting snakes in plant camouflage. Lions, leopards and their cousins are also present for your appreciation of wildlife. Elephants appeared to be very playful on the day we visited. Since it was a cloudy day, walking did not tire much but on a sunny day, it can be some walk so do carry water and some snacks.The hour long safari took us through the biological park up close and personal with the wild. We got to see lions, tigers, bears, crocs among the other wildlife.The driver of the bus was very friendly and helped click photos for the folks not seated in the best seats. Though it must also be said that he must have been a racing car driver earlier as he was driving superfast and with millimeter precision (sometimes a little scary to experience).The park has a little transit center which has a basic restaurant, some shops and paid toilets.Overall a great outing full of learning and slight bit of adventure.

Very nice place to Safari, zoo is good, wonderful place to spend family togather.If you go there you will get car parking area. Infront of the bus stand some private parking agents will stand and let you go inside. But you should go ahead and get car parking

The jeep safari is awesome, you get to see the wilder beasts up close and personal. We went for the afternoon jeep safari, it seems the carnivors are most active.

Bannerghatta Biological Park is an absolutely amazing place. There are all types of animals present here and all of them are in excellent shape. The Safari is probably the best part of this place. You can take pics of Deers, Elephants, Bears, Bengal Tigers, White Tigers and Lions standing right next to the tour bus. The AC bus is extremely secure and the staff are so friendly throughout the Park. Some excellent scenic spots. For me I could spend a day here especially near the Parrots.

Completely enjoyed the safari ride. They took around 15 -20 people in a bus for s single ride. There are other safari rides on which prices may vary. The driver was too good in showing us and taking pictures for us. We had a lot of fun. Very few animals were there. Expected more but still happy for the money we paid.

Just follow the quick and easy steps.The animals I could spot were: Bengal tigers, white tiger, lions, elephants, spotted deer, sambar, Nilgai, Black Bears.The bus service and everything was up to date. There might be more waiting time if you want to take a ride on the AC Safari Bus because most of the people would wanna board the non-AC one.The national park is very scenic. The best time to visit would be in the month of August and later..Good food stalls at the entrance, Andhra tiffin house and various shops to buy some local decorative and household items. Ice cream and Lays available at all shops.

A very good place located within the city Bangalore. One can enjoy a lot when visited during winter. However, even in summer it was cool inside the zoo due to huge number of trees and plantations.

Excellent. One of the best maintained zoo and biological park. Excellent place for family outing.

The best place to spend time with your Family. There are a Safari RIDE, Zoo, Butterfly Park.1. In Safari they will take you to the open forest and show animals like White Tiger, Lion, Elephant, Deer, Bear. 2. In Zoo most of the animals are available but you have to walk more. 3. In Butterfly Park there will be a exhibition about Butterfly and a small Park.

Well managed,Neat n clean,trained staff,suitable for everyones budget

Park had changed quite a lot after COVID. There were designated arrow marks on the ground to indicate the route to take. No shops inside the park now.Safari was well organised as always.Reaching early on a weekend would help in getting an easy parking.
