It is a very good place as I visited here for two days. I did not know that it has so many facilities for sports, gymnastics and other outdoor and indoor sports as well. They have certified coaches from different fields such as an olympian, Asian games champion and like that. The kids, students, and sports men are very very motivated over here. Everyone looked excellent in their endeavour. The place is little old but it has all the facilities for budding sports person in different areas. It gives such a joy after seeing people with so much of enthusiasm. Hope to see such other place in different states as well with advanced facilities.

This is actually a stadium complex with main football stadium,volleyball court and an indoor stadium.Home to Indian football team and Bengaluru FC.Though it’s capacity is almost 25,000 some of the seats are closed for ISL matches.West block is famous for its West block blues. They are the ultras of Bengaluru FC and every football lover must witness the match from that stand.Their slogans and chants are no less than European crowd and will mesmerise you.Still the stadium needs improvement of seats and parking facilities in near future.

Prevailing conditions of Stadium is bad since it was built very long time ago. Currently the management are working on laying new synthetic track inside the stadium but the process is pretty slow. Futhermore, stadium houses plethora of various Gyms but its congested because few beams are so down, it will literally hit our head while walking inside the gym & one need to be wary abt it. There are many structural flaws due to which water leaks when there is rain.

The stadium was built on top of an old lake. The Sree Kanteerva athletic track was developed into a pro synthetic track for 1997 national games before which it was a cinder track.The athletic track will soon be undergoing renovation. This original stadium was constructed through SVEC Constructions Ltd for Rs. 220 million and was completed by 31 May 1997.The central arena of the stadium consists of an 8-lane 400m synthetic athletic track, along with synthetic surfaced areas for field events like long jump, high jump, triple jump and pole vault. In-side the athletic tracks lies a Football field 100m x 68m in size.

This is more of a multi purpose stadium which also has Rock climbing walls. They also have an indoor basketball court.This stadium was renovated for national games held in 1997. U call still see the sign board inside the stadiumIt also has flood lights installed.Could be maintained better

Nice stadium, its generally open for public for practice, 400 meter track is good. Lots of runners come and practice there.. marathons and other sports events are conducted there.. seating capacity for public is moderate. Overall nice stadium.

Brilliant place to run at.Its a 400m track. Track opens at like 5am and is free.There are loads of people in the mornings running.Theres enough parking too. But you can enter from one side only right now. Also, theres a restaurant there if you need to eat.There is a lot of place outside the stadium too.When the BFC(Bangalore Football Club) match happens, the crowd here is just the best!

This is a pretty cool stadium. You can run/jog freely. There is a indoor stadium too. Karnataka Athletic Association and Amateur Archery Association, Badminton, Basketball, etc are available here. Its good even for your kids and family. A restaurant named Konark will help you out with your hunger. The items are reasonably priced and they do have a good taste. Thanks for reading. There is ample parking space but there are no washrooms and no lockers to keep your bags safeguarded as the bags are not allowed inside the satdium during match days.The atmosphere, however is electric and the crowd is absolutely happening at the Kanteerava.Just keep your bags at home and have fun!

Nobody knows which on all sports is there inside but coaching was ok ok I used to practice Taekwondo

This stadium is the only football stadium in Bangalore where ISL matches are played. This stadium is good, best during a BFC match. It can be improved a lot by renovating the sitting areas. The stadium looks very old from the outside. Overall, great experience here. Should watch a match here when BFC is playing.

The only stadium in the heart of the City with plenty of sporting activities, tomorrow they are organizing a Marathon early in the morning at 6am... The stadium is quite old and not well maintained... Every evening they have lot of sports based activities for every age starting from 6 yrs and upwards... You need to contact the coach there to enroll your child... They are lot of coaches in the arena with different activities...

West block is the best. The stadium is very huge and very well maintained. We have parking facilities. The support given to BFC and INDIA team is the best. I always go to west stand we can enjoy the match completely.

Really nice stadium and ambience. Football pitch is world class.But no proper seats. Some seats are broken. Some metal sheets are present at West Block, which might be dangerous for fans. No clean toilets.Good experience for players, worst for fans. Need renovation.

We went there for Hero Indian super league BFC vs CFC and it is really great to see that headcount at that was almost 22k (I remember earlier around 1.5 years it used to be 4 - 5k).Here is little more info about stadium, as it is situated at one of the busiest route just make sure to calculate buffer time to avoid last minute rush. There is parking facility inside and there are multiple gates so during matches you might have do some research around which gate you want to take.Major turnoff of this place are loo. Either there temporary washroom outside but those are rarely clean.

The football ground is awesome!!! The tracks of the ground are synthetic and so its best to be used when you have shoes on. The bathroom isnt something I liked very much.. The rooms are like a dorm, a bunch of beds. For a football match this place is very good and very clean but if your going to stay in the stadium then your probably not gonna like it much ;)

Good place, this place is not available common people until you are going for some event. Mostly this place is for running and football. Running track is best. Things like drinking water food and toilets are available.

Sports lovers dream to be a part of their team to play at this ground. Apt facilities available, however as humans we are always unsatisfied and have our own view on amenities available, anywhere for that matter.The vibes of seeing a live match and you will vouch, is that it is a different experience altogether.I strongly recommend to take family to watch games. Apart from bonding and exuberance, especially children will cherish the outing. I happened to do such a thing during the ISL Semifinal match between our own BFC and ATK...Played on the 01st of March 2020...it was simply electrifying to say the least. My son was seeing a live match for the very first time and I am sure it is not going to be his last. Encourage participation if not as an sports person but at least as an audience...Worth it

Be aware that this is a public property every part of it can be used by any one its confirmed by KAA and stadium authorities manganemt with some prior permissions , some couch and some people working out there act as if the ground is there own and these couch and 5 people do rowdism watch there face closely every person I have added there pictures especially the orange guys is a big lofer he just slips in any fight with out reason and pushes you and man handle be aware of these people if they say dont work out here compliant to management , these people will will disturb you while your running and dash you also we you oppose they gang up on you and say the ground is our , share these faces as much as possible

This is a well maintained stadium in the heart of bangaluru. This is home stadium for Bangalore Football Club. The turf is very fine however all seating arrangements are not up to the mark. There are very less number of washrooms. However floodlight facility is very good.

This stadium has two part one is indoor and outdoor..indoor stadium is wonderful specially during Pro Kabaddi time..Outdoor is basically used for track and field event and it is also the home ground for ISL team Bangaluru FC..The fans here are very energetic and thats makes this stadium even more beautiful

Home of Bengaluru FC. The west block stand has an amazing atmosphere during all the BFC matches which is unparalleled in India. This stadium gets very crowded during the BFC games. It is also used for other athletic events. The pitch is well maintained although the drainage system could have been better which can be seen during heavy rain. Theres good maintenance everywhere. The only drawback is that most seats are usually very dirty and some even broken. This is the reason why I havent given 5 stars. There is good amount of two wheeler parking and a decent amount of cars can also be parked.

Its good ground to watch football.Parking : we have to park near indoor stadium and walk little bit to the ground which inside the same compound. Parking charges are applicable.Rest rooms: very bad. The toilets in the ground floor is very bad. It not at all Maintained. Toilet in each gallery is not ok ok level. But it’s not enough for crowd capacity. Very smallSeating: seats are also with dust. Please take with you some clothes or tissues to clean it. Some seating is hight and we can’t keep in the floor. Some seatings are ok ok.But all together when you involved in match you will forget about all this problems and will enjoy. Live match feel itself different.😊

The stadium is old and has the required seats to sit and a great view from any place. But where is the basic necessity like water?The stadium was full, the place was hot but no water was arranged for anyone. Neither was water allowed to be taken in.

Decent stadium with capacity of 25000. Seats are okay nothing fancy. Would be best if you go with your friends to enjoy a sport in this complex. Hero ISL (Indian Super League) is hosted here and is the home ground of Bengaluru Football Club. Tickets are cheap (at least for ISL) considering it is at a prime location in Bengaluru (mainly because football is not that popular a sport in India as of now, but hey were getting good and the scene is improving) enjoy a match or two here with your pals or family. The Kanteerva football stadium which is also an Athletic stadium is a home for the Indian Super League club Bangalore FC, off late it has been renovated very well, the stands can be improved and the parking facility can be made better atleast during the time of the football matches when there is a big crowd that comes to the stadium, If Ur planning to catch a match at 7:30pm please leave atleast 2 hrs before to avoid all the traffic and drama of the police around the stadium !!!

Kanteerava stadium is a hub for talented sportspersons.Records have been created and international sportspersons wer born here. I was introduced to this place by my school first as we were taken for rajyotsava day celebration.After which I started my athletic career. This place is so close to my heart. There is a climbing wall too. I go for my practice here. My athletic training happens here. Have seen many wins n loses here.Tcsworld10k is my favourite from here. The stadium was not in great condition but now it looks ossum.

Our own football turf, home turf of Bangalore Football club (BFC). If youre a fan of football, then you should definitely catch a game here in Bangalore in the West block stands (the stand where all the home fans assemble). The chants, the roars, the Viking clap by 5000 -10,000 strong at the end of every game, makes it a memorable experience.

Went to see a football match. Had quite a good experience. The stadium is big and its well architected as well with enough space around the stadium for people to manuevre as well.But the parking woes for 4 wheelers are always there during a match and exiting out of the stadium may take a while.There are multiple entries to this stadium and try to check before hand which gate would be the entry point (if possible).Overall a nice stadium.

Probably the best track & field facility in Bangalore. Im told that the stadium is open to the public everyday between 5:00 am - 9:00 am. Its a great venue for your speed workouts, interval training etc.

A decent view to enjoy a game of ISL with atmosphere to make you feel absolutely special. However, the biggest disappointment is the lack of toilets and the absence of flush in the portable lavatories. The options for snacks are also severely limited with absence of tea stalls chief among them. One end of the stadium is strangely kept empty and unoccupied which has a goal post.

The only reason I came here was to watch Bengaluru FC match. Its so awesome to see the football match in Stadium and cheer the best team - Bengaluru FC.Usually I select west block, if no tickets then would select it in the east block. North block is the cheapest but is horrible as you will hardly be able to see anything from there. Finding the gates are a tough task.Make sure you book cab well in advance as later after the match you wont get the cab. Which is a tough task.Food items arent allowed inside infact the bags arent allowed inside.

Enjoy the best when your here to support your team. Hell lot of crowd supporting the home team Bangalore FC in the ISL. Organizers are trying hard to manage the crowd to not happen any unwanted things. The atmosphere is really awesome inside the stadium. Also, they have put many stalls in the entrance. It is easy to reach the stadium from any part of Bangalore as there are always public transport available.
