It’s a great place for South Indian food, North Indian is good tooTried idly vada, pulav, masala dosa, poori and sagu Dosa. Then later got coffee and Badam milkIdly was soft and vada was crispy, chutney was good but a little too spicy today, it’s generally not so spicy. Sambhar was good too. Pulav was nice and masala dosa was also very good. Poori with sagu was delicious, the sagu masala was decent tooHave been here many times, service in the second room can get a bit slowTheir south/North Indian meals are reasonably priced and have a good variety

The place serves hot water first as it is a mandate. The quality of food is good for the price. The ambience is pretty good also. Recommended to visit with friends as well as family. Two wheeler parking is scarce and u get four wheeler parking if u are lucky!

This joint serves some of the best early morning (6am) idli, vada and cup of coffee in the city.

One of the finest place to have lunch, breakfast and they maintain hygiene and its affordable not like other restaurants who charge more than what they deserve .i would recommend people who come to Basavanagudi to visit this restaurant at any cost

Originally reached Brahmin coffee bar for vade sambar but since it was closed came to slv. Pleasantly surprised with slv. the restaurant is quite large and had a peaceful breakfast tasty idly vade sambar and dose. Cofee also good. Good service and washrooms maintained quite well. Love to visit again

Best place for a Masala dosa and cup of strong coffee will make better evenings

Use to love it before but I feel the quality of food has decreased but the prices are increasing. This is also facing the same problems like other old restaurants. Not able to keep up.

Masala dose was yum.... I just loved Basundi.

I think in house service is great. Had a painful experience ordering food online.I feel the restaurant must own responsibility to ensure their remote customers are also delivered their order.Apparently, my order was not even registered. The only reason? Technical glitch. I think thats lame.

Awesome food with excellent environment. Traditional roofing make this place really amazing. Food and services is above all ratings; dont know how few people gave 4 star! Parking is not birth right, so, less parking space should not be the point to give less rating. Foods are hygiene too. Price wise you might say it bit higher side; but trust me, its really worth it. Quality and quantity wise its really perfect.

This is a good place to eat for Vegetarians. This area is full of those Veg Restaurants... Outlets on either side of the road, the one I visited this time was the one with seating and table service. Always a good place to eat. Dosas are the speciality of this place in the morning and in the evenings. You will get Authentic South meals here as well. Its easy to spot as well...

One of the best places to have breakfast in Basavanagudi, coffee tastes great , prices are reasonable and the staff here is very polite and helpful.Over all ambience can be improved, the washrooms sometimes can be very dirty.

Had taken south indian meals, taste is good. End of lunch u wil get cut fruits and lime water. One of the busiest hotel.

Like the food here, especially Masala Dosa and filter coffee. The Management has to look at maintaining social distancing which is absent here and people just rush..

Visited this place for breakfast, really liked the taste of food items. Rava Idli was awesome, dosas were perfect and personally i wont prefer coffee/tea at restaurant. In this case it was just exception, coffee and tea was just perfect.Would definitely this visit place again and also recommend it to people who like to try authentic south indian breakfast items.

Just like your average eatery, with red sambhar and not so fresh vada. Regular customers, limited menu. Actually, I was looking for SLV corner, but Maps kept sending me different roads, and I ended up eating here out of hunger, not knowing that this, in fact - is SLV. Nothing special, okay okay food. Photos not taken, since hunger overcame my reviewer aspirations.

Roti with curry which is available in slv corner is more delicious and not availabile anywhere.Masala dosa ,kharabhat ...pakodi bhel..Idlivada,starters etc..etc.are all mouthwatering..

I Had ordered veg pulav, Mangalore buns and carrot halwa. The veg pulav was just awesome with raita to go along with it. The carrot halwa was just above average and the buns was good. Overall good place to eat pure South Indian food.

Have visited this place for lunch, snacks and dinner. The food is amazing. The service is good. Located right at the Ramakrishna Ashram circle...a bit difficult to find a parking place! The masala dosas are yummy...The kids love their Spanish Manchurian and spring rolls. The thali is good too. My favourite is the Neer Dosa...very very delicious. An ideal place for small parties and get-togethers.
