Though the applicants were very very few. The process/waiting time was so long. The staff seems to be working the whole time, but i have no idea why it takes so long. Think twice before you book your appointment here. Consider other passport seva kendra first, and only if you have no other option then come here.I visited PSK Sai Arcade Marthahalli, they are professional in their approach and the prosess is hassle free.

Omg waited for whole day just for enquiry. Some staff are helpful but overall no proper and systematic follow up. Moreover you need appointment to visit this office PR else you are not allowed even to enter inside. Love the compound they maintained really well. Better get appointment and go early to get your work as early as possible so so that you will avoid the human traffic.

Huge building in the corner of kormangala 80 feet road. To get appointment through online it will open on Thursday @4.30 PM, then appointment will get based on priority.Be there jus 10 mins before your appointment time, security will allow you after you show your appointment letter.Small queue to get token, worst arrangement to get token, that lady sitting inside and its u shape queue, if you get your token then fine otherwise she will ask to wait.Then we can sit inside and its huge hall with lot of counter, but only 4 officals were working, 2 main people for clarification n modifications, one fellow is for uploading those documents and another fellow is collect cash.Interesting part is no display for token system, they are calling orally, sometime it wont be audible for people sitting beside.Process is jus 5 minutes in the counter, if they need to give authorization letter then it will take some 10 mins, but it took 3 hours for me. I went at 12.15, then 1.30 -2.00 pm is lunch, then I left the place at 3.25 pm.Less staff but work will be done.Make sure if u getting permission in office please get minimum 4 hours including travelling too.Note : this is only place in Bangalore for passport clarification and modifications 😁😁😁.Be patience n get your work done.Food (only junk n coffee/tea) n water are available.

The service is good.Got the quick response of mail and phone call although on visit the waiting time was more even after appointment and less applicants.

Not a good disciplined office, very slow service, passport is secured with laminate and attractive, inside officers process your documentation and video processing at once. To process your passport it costs around 5000Rs without agent and no costs with agent if you apply directly into office. Office prefers more white peoples than black.

Before I visited I read all reviews then finally I gone by 10.30am my appointment was 11am...the lady who issue the token ,she was so rude with visitor.. finally I got my token gone inside...it was smooth process all officer in Enquiry counter are very much professional and good to people...it takes around 2-3 hours to finish all process... before you enter make sure you have cash if it is penalty case,pen,and important dont walk in...go with prior appointment..or else else that reception lady WL shoutBeforehand

No response from the grievances team. If they pick up the call (helpline numbers) they always try to skip away with the problems. Cant imagine h0w lathargic these people are and how they work. If our ministry of external affairs are like this what will happen to the country. Quiet shameful.

Pathetic service. Inspite of taking prior appointment they ll make you wait for over an hour when there is no crowd at allThey have no consideration for covid cases rising in city and make people wait together for hours. They dont honor he appointment timings and have very bad attitude. After all it is govt facilities do what can one expect. They can neve behave like human.

Have been trying to know the status of my PCC application since weeks but zero response. Extremely lazy staff and no consideration of consumers. They dont answer phone calls, no relevant information is given even after booking an appointment. They took 3 weeks to juat print the PCC after all the verification had been done. Pathetic!

Dont deserve even one star. As there is no option to give it in negative, going with one. All employees sitting there at counter , behave like all of them are manager. But forget that their job is to serve the people. Quick action should be taken against them by government.

Very bad experience. They dont guide you properly and keep asking for different documents each time u go in. They just freeze your application and dont do any further verification. Please consider this and teach your staff how to behave.

Slow work went at 10 came back @4 for small queries. Work will be done like tortoise walk, next time if you are visiting bring lunch and snacks.

The review is not for passport issuance, as this office handles escalations only.Starts at 9.30am, but be there in queue by 7 am to get work done easily. Waiting seats are provided.Toilet area is great inside. Outside toilet is not good.Be very polite with the officials. Theyll grant you. If youre out of your mind, forget it; better luck next time

A very helpful & fast processing government office.Was shocked to see a government office working so efficiently.Had applied for surrender certificate for my son.First day went with online application and required documents.They asked to bring the kid and other required documents the next day.When I went the next day, everything was done in max 2 hours and I was out with surrender certificate.Happy with the service !

I came here to surrender my passport. I got the documents needed as per website. Thats my first mistake to trust their web page. Total ambiguity. Well, I needed another document that I had to procure from my naturalized country! I came back with all the documents needed, spent almost the entire day for my file to be processed. I had to pay a certain penalty as per their manual, which, I repeat, which is not made available to public. And somehow, you need to still be carrying a good amount of cash! If you are not carrying a local debit card, you are in trouble. Because, the only mode of payment acceptable here is by cash. Surprise!! Hey but the website says payment can be made by card or cash!! Noooooooo only cash!! Okay! So I dont have a local debit card here, because I dont live here. With great difficulty, within their working hours, I manage to arrange the money. Hey, surprise again!! The person at the cash counter, has closed it for the day! Despite still time left before closing. Apparently, the cash counter closes earlier! Which again is not mentioned! So here I am, stuck since morning(oh yeah, thats day 2), still my work not done. I requested them with all energy, politeness I have( thats my second day of menstrual cycle). But to no use. I ask the head of the office here and the system, would you have done the same, if it were to be a bureaucrats son/ daughter/ in laws/ niece/nephew????I was told to come back not the next day, because its Wednesday and they dont do my kind of work. But the day after.I have a few questions for this system? Why is there total ambiguity in your web page regarding passport surrender? Why is there no clarity? Why dont you make all the information available? What is the problem in accepting card payment?I came here on day 3, spending money for my back and forth commute for 3 days, to finally get my surrender certificate. Yay! I am supposed to be happy, that my work is done by at least the 3rd visitI wouldnt have given a single star, if not for one Mr. Anuj. He really helped me with my file. Very kind and considerate. This review is a statutory warning for those who decide to leave office early to get this work done.My passport renewal was on hold and I had to go to this wretched place.Thursday 3:00 PM : I leave my office early and enter the gate of the RPO, show the below circular and my acknowledgement at the entrance.The response I got from the police officer is:1. Although the office closes at 6 PM per Google and their website, no officials are present at this time.(post lunch, BTW lunch is from 1:30-2 PM)2. They dont work on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.(Amazing! Are there any openings?)3. Come at 9 AM, you can get to speak to the official at that time.Lets see what tomorrow has in store, I happened to speak to two more people who got the same response. Abysmal.

The appointment was at 11am and by the time we were called inside it was 4pm. The staff there were extremely rude and seemed to have no interest in helping us and one of them even started yelling at us and threatened to file a case against us🤔⁉️ Overall horrible experience very dissapointed 😡

Theres sufficient parking available; one can just drive in (by car too). This RPO is modern and very well-managed for an office that has to deal with anxious visitors with the kinds of problems and complications that it does. Ones turn is token-based for all purposes. Theres even a tea/coffee counter inside. The location indicated on Google Maps is now accurate; it was incorrectly placed earlier.

We are very happy with the services rendered by the staff of RPO, our issues were resolved very well. Keep it up.

Office is showing opened but today i went there are saying it is closed for customers. seriously they are harassing me.

My problem was that i had missed the block no. In my address so the police had sent adverse report. At first I was very confused what to do. But then first I found passport seva service no. From Google. And called and asked them about what to do. I took prior appointment from my registered account and I got date and time for appointment. But i will suggest it is better that we go even earlier than provided time in appointment, our work will be done even faster, people over there are co operative and good, my work was done within 2 hours, no time wasted, fast and good service. I was happy with the service provided at the RPO banglore. And it is very important to take appointment. It will help your work done fast. Never go without taking appointment.

Regional Passport office is severely under staffed. We are still waiting for an enquiry appointment for past 3 hrs and the single window operator gives standard answer to wait for 30 more minutes. Most of the times there is no employee in policy section counter to answer your queries from the other side. MEA should urgently consider speed up the process here. Wish I could give a 0 rating for such pathetic service by RPO employees.EDIT : Finally out! For approx 10min of work it took 4hrs. Please speed up the process, it will help a lot to common citizens like us.

Worst employees. Nothing is systematic here. Slot is given at a random time and they do not respect your time whatsoever. I hope some government official sees this and gets things sorted here. I have personally seen people wait for hours together just to get 5 mins of talking time. Completely unprofessional. Also, hate the way they are making use of this assistance counter for selling their passport cover. It is almost a open bribe is what i can see.

The building is built very nice....Even the waiting room and parking lot are good but some staff are good in behavior and some are very rude.... Yes its bit difficult for childrens..... And even they wont allow inside for others.... Outside sitting arrangement is very bad

My status was not moving from RPO review for 8 days but she understood my urgency and cleared it with post police verification. Passport will reach in 2 days now.Documents accepted for address proof:1) Name of address proof should exactly match passport application ( I had my fathers name in my name in rental agreement so was not accepted)2) Airtel online bill not accepted (they told it probably would be accepted if sealed by Airtel office)3) I opened a new bank account and took the passbook as address proof. It was accepted although the account was opened 2-3 days before the appointment date.They never answered my calls. Also dont trust any answer from Passport Seva customer care. I got 3 answers and all wrong. They said Airtel bill would be accepted, said office is open on Wednesday, said new passbook will not be accepted.

Had been here to check my passport status on 13th December post police verification(It was cleared 10 days before).Take prior appointment and reach just 10mins before your scheduled time.1.They will collect your appointment form.2.They call out your name,just in case any queries plz let them know.Wait for another 10mins.3.Submit the form in the desired counter mentioned on your form.Total time taken here was 1.40 hoursI received my passport today(14th December)Note:Please take necessary documents with you which you have submitted along with application form.

NEW NOTICE:- people have to book online and then come according to their token number and time given on it. Now no more coming early in the morning 6 and standing in line. Parking facility available. Canteen inside and washroom also available. Should have more patience as this is the only centre for entire Karnataka for correction and modifications. And staff members are less in number thats why it takes longer time. If every document is in correct and no errors found, you can finish as soon as your token is called. Some times they might ask you to write letter so carry plain sheet and pen with you!

Terrible service. To answer one query they will issue a token (which you will have to collect early in the office hours) and make you wait till evening (about 4 hours) and then ask another document or send you to another officer who will be on leave or not at his/her desk and ask you to come another day and not even record your appearance on the designated day. TOTAL DISREGARD FOR PUBLIC AND THEIR VALUABLE TIME. They will speak only in English or Hindi to a person who knows only the local language and act like the NEW BRITISH RAJ!

Today I had been to Passport regional office. Since i had been there early morning 7.20am, My token was # 40. First come first serve. If you want your work to be done at the earliest then be there around 7am. They have kept chairs outside, we need to sit accordingly as we reach. Around 9am Police would be giving each of us one Application form. Then around 9.30am we need to form queue in the same manner as there are 2 counters to give Token. There is parking facility as well. Have light breakfast or take biscuit packets. Be polite and it will help.

Trying to reach four lines on the passport site. No one answers. Constantly get a message saying I am in queue and call is disconnected. Sometimes ring goes through but no one answers. Grievance logged online. No response for some time now. How am I supposed to know critical information? Request RPO Koramangala to please respond asap.

Its been a month, the status of my application is under review at RPO. I called them, they are not answering the call. Very BAD Service. I called Toll free number, they are telling the same like it is under review. we can track the application in their site. Then what is the use of providing toll free number? I am expecting something like, what is the status of the application and what went wrong. so that I cam make it right.

The staff are very courteous and will answer to all your queries. over phone is not satisfied, no proper information provided. Please make sure to take an appointment in advance.

Be ready to be treated like a peasant of colonial times, the govt staff over here doesnt even think in their dreams that their salaries are paid by the very citizens they are supposed to serve.For simple things will you be made to run in a circle between the same rooms and staff located in 3 floors from morning 9:30AM to 5:30PM, of course you need to be their by 8:30AM or even before to get a token of reasonable number. The staff says there has been a 30% cut in workforce and they are fed up with the work load. To me it somewhat appeared that the number of people they are handling in a day is very huge but if thats the case why they should be making people comeback again and again to them for the same issues. Pathetic is not the word for having wasted my whole day here.Also go with a white cap and sweater and wear light colored dress, you will need the first one while waiting in the long queue under the hot sun to get token and then sweater if you are cold averse as AC halls inside the building can become very cold based on the number of people occupying.

Waiting for more than 3 hours still you dont get what you came for. Employees are rude the keep switching you to other employees and finally tell you to come next week. Still I didnt receive my passport. I love have a government job but not the services.

Worst experience ever. No response after slogging 5 times just for a single passport verification. The appointment procedure is horrible. The whole system is long and exhausting Ive been trying to renew my paaaport since 2017. After going back to this hell place several times, my passport status still hasnt been updated and Ive not received my passport yet. The response is null. Horrible service.

The experience over the phone was the worst experience i ever had on any platform. The lady who is about to clear my DOUBT is absolutely RUDE and behaving like she is making a favor to me by listening to my query. She asked me my File Number which is 15 digit number. I was saying 4 numbers at a time so that it will be easy for her to type it. After 4 digits i made a pause to receive a confirmation from her but she preferred to remain quite and when i asked should i proceed then her reply was How many times will i have to ask you the File No. So Madam i am not a student of your school. You please before joining a reputed service sector learn proper human behaviour and that too over phone. And if proper training is not provided to the people in-charge of solving queries over phone, then i request the passport department to please arrange for the same because i believe they are FOR THE PEOPLE.

Perfect examples of bureaucracy over peoples convenience.My friend applied for a passport. Due to some issues, Speed Post couldnt locate the address for delivery and it got returned here.When we enquired here, they said to come with an appointment and collect it.However, after waiting weeks to finally get that elusive appointment, we were rudely told they wont give the passport here and to submit another application to resend it through post.Whats the point? If the person in question comes to physically receive it, and you guys follow it by the book and inconvenience people unnecessarily, thats just rude and utter stupid bureaucracy.Very bad experience.

This place is a typical govt office where everyone would take their own sweet time to process stuff. The people at passport seva kendra are much more helpful and take less time to process things.

Please reach this place before 7am because people will stand in queue before 7 here. If you reach after 8, already more than 200 people will be in the queue and you have to wait for long time. There are chairs outside and you will be made sit in the order of your arrival. They will send people inside in batches.Staffs here are very rude like all Government offices. So explain them clearly what service you need and do not try to confuse them. Carry the xerox copies of required documents because there is no xerox center inside(when I visited in 2016). Carry couple of blank A4 sheets as well you may need it to request letter etc. If you explain and behave well, you will get the best service from them. Dont forget to carry things like all Govt ID proofs etc.

I have applied for reissue of a new passport . But when it got delivered through post ,was not able to recieve it since i was in office. So i went to passport office in Kormangala to enquire and told me to write a request letter and do will only send it through post when i told them that i will be in office during weekdays. they said they cannot help. It got returned again. I had my sister at home to take the post but still they did not come. So we went to Bannerghatta post office which located in remote area. Asked in both the post office they said its not with them. I am just wondering , recently this week i went and told them to resend it but not sure why they are delaying it.

Worst organisation. Staffs wasting their time in the counters. Indirectly income of Coffee day, snacks counter, water bottles are getting generated. Really pathetic situation. Could see people waiting from 10 am to get their application cleared. Till 1.30 our efficient staffs could call only 135 tokens. So fast and efficient. Hats off to our Government staffs who works so fast. Hope people accept this and dont blame other organisations where people work more efficiently than this so called Regional Passport Staffs. Whenever I call the support number ( this was to check my police verification status as told by bellendur Passport officer) they disconnect the call.

Customer care ppl say it is open from Monday to Friday but when you go there on Wednesday, they say public visit is not allowed. Pathetic govt office.

Visited RPO office today, it is modern building with adequate sitting area for applicant ( which is inside the building) and relatives/friends(outside the building with shades). It is opp to Indian Oil Petrol pump. There is space for about 20 cars and 50 bikes around the building and it free parking too. There is also separate car/bike parking for staff and Govt vehicles which is good for about 50 cars and 100 bikes. At the entry of building the security will check the appointment letter. Once you are past him on your right there is token issue counter. Show your appointment letter and they will enter your presence and issue a paper token. With that enter the hall with more than adequate and comfortable chairs and wait for your Token no to be called. The display system was either to be operationalised or was dysfunctional today. After preliminary scrutiny of paper you sent to upper floor for further processing of your application. There is pin drop silence in the waiting hall. If all goes well you are free in one hour’s time. Should you require xerox then you have to come out of RPO office , cross the 80 ft road and take the narrow lane by side of a temple, a small shop with one person will xerox at Rs. 2 per copy and rates are displayed in the shop. Should want to have some snacks and/or hot coffee then their is a small enclosure next to where the initial paper token was issued. There is rest room for Gents and Ladies with average cleanliness. There is also a water dispenser to take care of thirst. Efficient but feeling was that it can further improve upon its efficiency to cut down on time required to complete the processes. Present RPO is very helpful person. I hope it will help the future visitors to the place.

Typical govt bunker, rude and not prepared to give proper info. There are 4-5 board lines and one grievance no. Nobody receives it, absolutely useless. Nobody guides how to fix appointment to meet these people, open-close timings not mentioned for online slot booking.You give 100 justification document evidence, they shut their eyes saying that 101th isnt given, they are NOT PREPARED TO ACCEPT THEIR MISTAKES.They dont understand that a person studying MS/MBA has surely completed his SSLC and the present study documents are of no value for these illiterates. All they want is make money and save their own back. The display board has no sound and their voices are kept low to avoid strain for themselves.Toilets are leaking.Its a waste of public money

Had a great experience here when we needed our infants passport made on an urgent basis. Met with one of the staffs there, named Ram, he told us there was a way we could try. He asked us to meet with Mr Rajesh Naik, the passport officer who sits in that branch. We met him and explained to him our situation. He was extremely polite and helpful. Got the passport well in time. The tatkal queue was fully booked for almost a month. The staffs in general were also very helpful, and, the visitor parking was definitely something that is rare in Bengaluru. Keep up the great work! :)

Nowadays with online system, applying passport becomes much easier than before. Its only to submit and verify the documents at the RPO.

- Worst office in the planet.- Office is open only on Mon – Tue and Thu – Fri, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM. They dont let you inside on Wednesday.- Highly uncooperative people and true test of patience.- Employees are SICK !! The telephone operator barely picks the call and when she answers she talks as if like she is working for free. Very Rude !!

I’ve been here in 2010 and again in 2019. No changes then and now. Either with employees or with infrastructure. It’s same pathetic service. Appointment time and the time you attend to enquiry officer is more than 3 hours.

Need to go very early and stand in queue. But once you get the token its usually fast. Soke staff are friendly & some are not. Parking facility is also present.

I have applied for my 6th month baby and they put PV. I wondering why they have put pv for 6th month baby? for deciding PV required or not they took almost 3weeks. Is it take that much of time? When PV submitted from more than 2 week still showing granted when I called to rpo office they are saying today or tomorrow from 1 week. Everyday I am writing email but no response from them.
