I stayed from 11 to 12 sep 2021 at angana. The courtyard, the artifacts, the lush greenery was amazing. For the first time I took my six month old my grand daughter, it was very safe and above all the serenity n the hospitality of the staff were very humble. Recolected many of my childhood days looking at the brass, bronze n wooden artefacts which my parents n grand parents used during my childhood days. We had the opportunity to speak to the owners of the yard. They spoke to us as if they knew us for long.. I suggest this place for a happy family safe gathering.

As you approach, the street is narrow but typical for Indian streets, very much manageable. At the gates and throughout the stay, the staff were friendly, obliging, and courteous. They speak English, Hindi, and the local Kannada language. 4/5*The main building has a center courtyard, multiple living spaces around for gatherings, game rooms, beautiful artifacts, and a classic traditional vibe to it. The overall property is well kept and manicured, beautiful old trees, flowers throughout, and a clean inviting swimming pool. With places to play badminton to ping pong (table tennis) to basketball and cricket...this is a 5/5*There is a lovely large covered patio for outdoor dining and the food was generally good, freshly prepared, flavorful, not overly spiced up or something to give you a heart burn. 4/5*The rooms were clean, there are 6 bedrooms in the main building and a couple more bedrooms in an adjacent building. If you are a close family, you can easily fit in a good couple dozen folks comfortably. 4/5*Overall, though ratings might show 3 or 4 stars, the property is quite enjoyable... In a departure from the typical 5 star properties in the cities, this place is worthy of a 4.5* / 5. Would try to repeat... Kudos to the team there.

Loved it. Its very good for a quick getaway from Bangalore. The staff are courteous and spoke tamil, hindi English with ease as good as they spoke Kannada. Food was healthy not too oily and made to taste. The badminton Court, swimming pool, and the garden and very good for relaxing. The whole courtyard maybe perfect for a family outing where the intent is just to unwind and chill.

No activities no TV no amenities but charges huge! Not worth it.. Wasting so much money for the resort in bangalore is worthless with the same money we can travel to exotic places like coorg or chikmagalur

Perfect place for group of friends.We made a 2 night halt here enroute to Pondicherry as we drove in from Goa.Very well kept Heritage property with alot of openess & greenery.The restaurant tastefully done serving delicious freshly prepared meals.Loved the cozy courtyard bedrooms and the furnishings too.Staff were super courteous.

Very nice getaway close to the city. The days (especially on the weekend) can get crowded with day trippers, and most people don’t get to experience the beautifully furnished rooms. the evenings and nights are very quiet if one is staying the night. Food is generic resort buffet, but well prepared and fresh.

Serene and peaceful getaway from the city with crazy traffic and pollution. A kid friendly place where they have a swimming pool designed like a huge rustic well,a play area with swing and see saw that kids enjoy. The dining area is away from the rooms amidst the greenery so that the guests feel relaxed even during their meals. The place has a clock tower nearby to give the guests a view of the landscape near the resort and fall in love with the experience.

After 19 years we all engineering friends had get together in this resort. We were 30 people. There are lush green lawn was maintained and we all could sit in one of the area and enjoy our discussion.There is one small beautifully planned swimming pool. Table tennis, Carrom like indoor games are available. Shared basketball/badminton court is available. Since it is shared court only one game can be played.There are not many recreational facilities available, if there are many individual families then probably then it would be difficult to get all families occupied.If you reach there as bigger team then there is enough space available to sit and enjoy.Food buffet was served. In buffet there were no too many or not too less items. Food was good and our team did enjoy the food very much.

Antique kind of building, beds, doors, locks, etc.Neat n clean kitchen.Compact but yet impressive resort to spend your free time out of traffic to attain peace of mind.About 1.5kms from kanakapura main road, so carry all required items.Good plunge pool to cool yourself.Food also very delicious and unlimited, you may place requirements before even going there.Bonfire shall also be provided for spending cool nights.Some games also available for team and team building.

We had a family get together at Angana. It is a nice place to spend a whole day on occasions. The food served for breakfast and lunch was sumptuous and of good quality. Lots of open space and few out door games to keep you engaged.Priced fairly well for the services provided.

Very far and deserted area. The venue is dark and needs loads of maintenance. Visited for a wedding ceremony, but didnt like the place as it is very misaligned for venue spread like a marriage. Try this for office day out events only.

It is an ancestral home so may miss out on some of the amenities like ac and wifi.Pool is very distinct and the food is like they say food is essentially indian (karnataka cuisine). I loved the food and would recommend people to visit at least for a day outing if you like to have native cuisine while relaxing with your friends or familyLast but not the least, Thanks to the staff working over the property to make our stay delightful and for being extremely co-operative

Unique place, this brings back the memories of grannys place. Located 60kms away from Bangalore. Our company leadership training was held here for two days,it was an amazing experience. Training room was too good, felt like we are sitting in some kings darbar .. You LL get to see lots of vintage collections..food was awesome, south Karnataka style..clean rooms, friendly staffs, very peaceful.. two people can stay in one room, if you want you can ask for extra bed so that three people can stay. alcohol is not available but you can bring it from outside.

The simple lifestyle maintained here brings a nostalgic feeling to the stay! The food was homely. No AC or TV. Relaxing time ! The only change they could do was to use some good matress becos after a couple of days stay we wont want to return with a backache!

An amazing place and esthetically crafted. It is suitable for marriages or any other gatherings with guests less than 200.The place is decorated with full of antique artifacts. The main building is designed on the south Indian Courtyard house theme.It also has a pool which looks like Queens Bath. There is an amphitheater which can seat around 300.But it is little expensive and also takes around two hours to reach from Jayanagara which is about 21 kms in peak hours.Of you like a cozy place or of urban noise and if your guests does not complain about the distance... then it is a good choice

Sleep quality needs improvement but good otherwise. Staff is courteous and hospitality is great. The place is well maintained with good ambience and good food. This was our second visit with a group of five families mostly with toddlers. The courtyard was a great place to let the kids free while we chilled out. The beds were okay but the pillows were huge and very high to sleep confortably in. The pillows need to be changed immediately. Especially room number 6 where the bed is really small and the pillows make it extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. Also if you are going with a toddler who will sleep with the parents it is best to avoid room 6 as the bed is really small.Overall for a place that is less than an hours drive from Bengaluru city it has great accommodation, all meals inclusive package at around 7300 rupees per couple per night, nice swimming pool, decent kids play area and good food.

Excellent atmosphere, very clean and well maintained. The food was awesome and the service by the staff is extraordinary.

A very average resort. The landscape (with whatever they have) looks good. The food is barely average. The activities are very basic. There are some good spots worth some photos but thats about it. The pool looked nice but was absolutely horrible. The chlorine content was too high to the point where it causes irritation to everyone who got in and also everyone felt very pukish after getting out of it.

Full disclosure: I havent seen the resort, I was exploring it as an option for additional rooms for a wedding at Panchavatti the Pavilion just up the road. Turns out Angana only has 8 rooms, which for a resort, is a paltry number. However, the resort looked amazing from outside.
