4 of us went to this restaurant 2 adults and 2 kids.there was no menu .It was supposedly a buffet but the spread was in the kitchen not displayed to the customers .was there any choice,nope.Was there unlimited food ,nope.The portions were good if you are a 5 year old .So was it buffet??not really.Lets talk about what we ate.for the 4 of us was served two akki roties . Next up for the four of us one mini bowl of rice and .For the four of us 3 puddings ,what about the forth person??? next up how can anyone serve 2 small pieces of chicken when 4 of us were eating.neither my eyes or my mouth both were not e pleased l. have lot more to say but all I am going gto say now is not worth the money.

Absolutely unworthy of the money. If you come a little late they have nothing much to offer to your plate. They dint have sufficient food to serve. Food very less for the money spent.Taste is below average, and Chilly pork was too salty.They charge 800rs + taxes(40rs) per meal and offer very less variety .Also there is no mineral water served instead water is served in glass bottles.Felt really bad for the money spent.

One if the worst restaurant I could say not recommendable at all. We did go for a lunch and we booked the slot for 1.30 pm and we reached by 2.15 pm only because of that they gave all insufficient food and the money was not worth for what we got for every dish they gave the quantity for two people and rest for everything they said everything is over since we are 30 mins late. Such a disappointment no desserts no salad no sufficient roti... Everything was finished by 2 pm and the amount was paid in full.. When comes to the taste I could say pathetic... Worst response if we ask something very rude... The amount was paid was of complete waste ..Very very very poor and worst service NOT A BUFFET RESTAURANT

Very good ambience. 😍Great veg food esp the veg curry and puttu.Fluffy akki roti are just too good.Very hygienic too; the washroom has soap tissue and hand dryer as well. Its very well attended then and there when required.Since most of the vegetables or fruits come from Coorg and most of them are home grown the food is as good as home food.

It actually felt like being in a home stay in Coorg.Loved the pandi curry, chilli pork and hot akki Rotis served on the table. The Place to go if you are looking for authentic and awesome Coorgi delicacies. Their chili Pandhi Fry is to die for and goes great along with the akki roti which are so soft that they are melt in mouth combo.The coconut souffle and caramel custard are also awesome.Actually, even the veg food and the chicken dishes are good but as I keep telling the host - at Coorg, I just dont tire of the Pork to look elsewhere at all.

This place is only open for dinner on Fridays, and lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. Coorg, therefore, is a hobby restaurant run by a Coorgi family passionate about their cuisine. Food style is home cooked, served up as a buffet. No complicated menus here. Restaurant is on the second floor of a house. You follow signs, take the stairs, and reach a tastefully decorated, cozy covered terrace. Food highlights: very tasty Coorgi chicken and pork, and delicious coconut milk pudding.

Located little off from the main street and is on 2nd floor of a residential building. Ambience is great and inviting. Its an unlimited buffet only place. 2 pork, 1 chicken and 3 veg dishes, akki roti and 2 desserts. Pork dishes are exceptionally good, others are ok to do with. I find it a little pricey (₹650) for non vegetarians and I am not sure if they have different pricing for vegetarians. They have dine in only on the weekends. Payment options are cash and PayTm only. No bill or payment receipts were provided. Which I found it to be super weird.

A quiet little rooftop restaurant. They serve a buffet. There are limited options but the food tastes great. The trees around the property give it a very nice ambience, almost like in Coorg when I think of it now :) In short its a nice cosy place with homely food.

Good place for non-vegetarians. Limited options for vegetarians as they offer only buffet style and most of the items are non-vegetarian. There was no rush when we visited there. I guess there could be wait during weekends. Sad part about the restaurant is the lack of options except buffet. They accept both cash and card payment. Wheel accessible entrance is not there as they are functioning in the first floor of a building.

A long overdue review but nevertheless here we go...If you want a homely, relaxing, yummy Coorg spread of food over the weekend this is the place to visit.Situated on the top floor of the owners house, the owner Priya personally meets all of her guests and guides then through the spread of food. Which, might I add, has always been lip-smackingly good at each visit and keeps making you want to go back for more.The only drawback- at 750 odd rupees for buffet and a soft drink it does seem a tad bit too high.

Visited the restaurant Coorg, located in Indiranagar. An excellent place to dine. The restaurant serves a variety of fresh home cooked food served in a buffet style. As the name says the place serves Kodava cuisine, with a wide pick from the ever succulent Pork Curry (Pandi Curry), Pork Chilly Fry, Chicken, Mango Curry, Rice, Akki Roti, etc. The host was very friendly and hospitable.

One of the best place for Authentic Coorg pork delicacies. The prices are little on the higher side, however you get your monies worth in taste!! Happy Gourmet!

Over hyped place, very expensive. Least no of dishes u can find on a table. 630/- is very much expensive for pork curry and fry. Saddest part is they do charge for welcome drink 65/- while ordering one more welcome drink be careful wherein you might be spending around 800/- for such a limited stuff. One time go experience.

Pork items were not that tasty, normally Coorg style would be a great experience which Im a fan of this dishes. But here it was lacking. The kachampuli essence was not there and lot more.They dont accept cards only cash and paytm is accepted.The ambiance is super excited.People r good

This place has an amazing vibe! Loved the rooftop cozy coorg type atmosphere, along with the music! The buffet food too was really nice especially the pandi Curry and the fresh hot akki roti that was served on the table! Everything was really good, although the food could use tags as to what it was. It also may have been a little overpriced. But overall food and service was amazing! Very homely feel!

Loved the whole vibe of this place... Cosy wooden interirors with a lots of natural light and wooden furniture... The owners and staff are welcoming and love to introduce you to the coorg cuisine.. The food is very good.. Loved the pork chilly and pandhi curry. I also loved the pumpkin curry cooked in the traditional style. The desserts are to die for... In short, a great place and totally worth the cost.

I have had it before but at the Coorg it was at another level of awesome. A tangy brinjal chutney, a cucumber curry that was so full of flavour, chicken, vegetable stew, a dry pork preparation, noolputtu and rice rotis. And to end the lunch coconut panacotta and caramel custard. Whew!!!Attentive staff and a charming hostess...perfection.

Taste & places is good but the cost is not worth. Buffet costs Rs 800 odd + tax (cards not accepted) but list of dishes are too less compared to other restaurants (ABs, BBQ Nation & Chatney Chang) for the same price. Need to reduce the price or increase number of dishes.

Its a family run business. The food is really good . It feels like home food and the prices are reasonable. This will be one of my top eating spots in Bangalore. They are open only on weekends.

We heard about this restaurant, and decided to have dinner on our last day in Madikeri. We met the owner, Bhim Singh. A very friendly and pleasant person, and a highly experienced hospitality professional. The restaurant is housed in a very old structure, in the heart of town. The decor is period style, and welcoming. The best part is the food. We had Paneer Ghee Roast for starters which were delectable. The main course was Aappam with Veg stew which had an authentic taste, just like something you would get in Gods own country. The service is quick and unobtrusive. I recommend this place highly, if you like good food, good ambience, and good conversation !.

Ive been coming here since 2010 and Ive loved coming here ever since (I travel from Sarjapur to get here and trust me its worth the traffic!!!) ! Awesome Khana, made with love and a perfect understanding of good food. Ive never left here unhappy. The pandi curry is great, the pork fry is amazing but the true King for me is the caramel custard. Now Im not a fan of sweets and I usually give the desserts a miss but at Coorg... Not a chance!! If youve never been, do yourselves a favour and check out Coorg. You will not regret it!

We had been here for dinner. We ordered Pandhi Bhartad, Rice rotti , mango curry and tender coconut pudding. Pandhi Bhartad is traditional black masala pork, was good. Mango curry is seasonal special as was wonderful and our favorite for that dinner. The tender coconut pudding is basically the pannacotta desert and was yummy. After the dinner, we were given the complementary coffee (with jiggery and grated coconut in it) and it was a spot on option to finish you yummy dinner for the day. Will definitely visit again and hope to find mango curry then.....Ambience is good. Hospitality is good

Dont miss the ghee rice and coorg pundi curry pork and chilly pork. They are the house favorites. Its a buffet system and on special occasions they could have an a La carte menu. I guess the next weekend they are having their anniversary celebration for which they will have an a La carte menu. Dont miss it. Its a paradise for pork lovers. The vibe is homely. Its run by a family who stays in the same premise. Basically a bungalow with a terrace where the terrace is converted into a restaurant.

Located on the terrace of a residence, the decor is all wood and comfortable seating. You get some authentic cuisine from the Kodava region all of which is prepared in a homely style. They are open for lunch and dinner with only a buffet. No ala carte here. Just remember that you need to climb two flights of stairs to get to the restaurant....but the exercise is worth the experience!

There isnt any place that rings of authenticity as dies this little restraint that opens for lunch every weekend. Ones welcomed and hosted with generos amounts of delicacies and love. Its a gem ,this one.
