A Tamil cuisine restaurant with a decent variety of dishes in the menu.The place was hygienic and clean.The most selling biryani here is Chicken Bharwa Biryani which isnt on the menu.The Biryani was good(a bit on the spicy side) and quite light on the pocket.

Their chettinadu chicken is great, teaming up the same with plain dosa makes for a yummy treat. Cordial staff. Small sitting space but clean. Parking available inside the campus.

Higher price for lesser quantity.. today we had mutton Biryani but the sunday lunch mood was spoilt by tasting that biriyani..only 3 small sized mutton pieces ( that too bones) were there in that...very much disappointed.

If you are a vegetarian just stay away from this place... The staff speak and understand only tamil ( no kannada no hindi no nothing) and say yes to everything.. the served us veg Biryani with rice from chicken Biryani even though we clearly asked them abt the rice part before ordering..Zero hygiene.. we tried this as it was with in our Ajmera apartment compound and we had a good experience with their vegetarian outlet piliyar bhavan.. and during the early carona days I got sick from too much of house work and there was one manager type of person in the outlet who went out of his way to make us seated comfortably outside in the fresh air and made us tasty dosa with chettinad veg curry... that person is not there anymore..The staff now have no sense of hygiene and cleanliness.. the washbasin drain is leaking into the dining section..they concealed the leaking water with a heavy green mat..After few ppl started to use the washbasin for washing hands the mat could not hold the water anymore.. so in the middle of our meal we are presented with this disgusting sight of drainage water infront of us..The staff did not seem too surprised with the water clogged and spreading to the dining area.. they made no attempts to clear it off or turn off the water connevtiin or anything.. the water was infact coming from the kitchen sink drain as well..Horrible experience..

Went there just like that..ordered Mutton fry Biryani and chilli Parotta..chilli Parotta was great and spicy.. Biryani as it was not mutton Biryani flavour was little less but mutton fry was really good, nicely cooked. Lemon soda sweet was also great. The cost was medium total 399 including Tax. Ambience was good 5 tables only totally... nice wall photos..

I tried two of their Chicken biryani, one was regular and another was their country chicken biryani. I honestly felt both biryanis were below average. Their curry was also very spicy and lacked any flavour. Service was okay. Interiors was decent but there was no Air conditioning.

I had been here for Jil Jil jigardanda which is Madurai special. The chef made is so delicious just like the Madurai one. The place is nice and clean. The interior is just like a village with village latern lamp hanging inside. Overall its a good place for dining.

Pattikattan is the best hotel in e city I wish to visit again again .. and I recommend the friends and the family members to visit the hotel for good food healthy food ...... Ordered a ghee podi dosa and requested them to add extra ghee . I got a dry dosa which did not have even smallest amount of ghee and crispiness they used give previously. And the funny part is I was charged with Rs 116 . It used to 75 or 80 . Since the business is low these people started pulling money out of customers pockets . Very bad I used to love this place and we used to have dinner with group of friends. Even my other friends who took non veg said it tasted terribly. Paying more for quality and taste is fine but this I did not expect from these guys. I used to love this place and like people running this place for cost to quality balance. Pls dont lose customers by lowering the quality, taste and just overcharging. 😒 Bros you have started losing your authenticity and your customers as well.

Authentic traditional tamil cuisine. Very nice ambience ... Healthy and as organic as possible ... You can taste paruthi paal halwa a halwa made from milk extracted from cotton seeds... A traditional desert ageing back to the days when jaggery was the only sweetener in use.. 😊 good service .. good food...

This place is located in Neeladri street and here you can get spicy south Indian chettinad dishes. They make good chicken curry dishes but did not like the parota, biryani and other breakfast dishes.

Had ordered a chicken Chettinad chicken briyani and chicken 65 briyani.It was the worst briyani I ever had.The quality of food was really bad.I was served only with 2-3 tiny little peices along with kushka.The taste wasnt good at all.I would never recommend this place for any sort of chicken biriyani.

Had madurai mutton curry dosa last nit the food was awesome an mouth watering really feel the taste of traditional madurai style dosa. Thanks pattikattan tram to provide without changing the authentic style of the food.

As a Tamilian, I can rate the food as worse. Have tried both Veg and Non-veg dishes, all are horrible. Ambience is fine. Need a lot of improvement in terms of food quality. Havent tried the biriyani, cant comment on it.

Taste changed after moving to ajmera complex.Served readymix parotta that too got dried while serving only.Concentrate on taste and own preparations instead depending on readymix foods.We ourselves can buy readymix food items and try at home instead coming to your restaurant.

Food quality and quantity seems very bad. Pretty costly too. How would u feel if a single lime soda (that too very badly prepared) costs you 50+ INR 😂.

Best tamilian food for those who love to eat karasaramana sapadu. If you have a bland taste or if you are from non-tamil states you might want to try to see if you like it. Love the Biryani in Pattikattan, Good location and food quality almost good .They are taking 15mins to serve food .The biryani served at this restaurant is simply delicious. The Biryani is perfectly made with special spices, that makes it stand out from rest. A class apart. Chicke in so tender that it melts inside the mouth.Restaurant also offers Dosas, Idly, Idiyappam, Chapati and other dishes to chose from. Biryani quantity is a bit on the higher side and good enough for two.Try Tender coconut kheer, Gulab jamin, Cotton seed Halwa a special dessert . Highly recommended sure we will visit again.

I have to tell you that I was their employee for many months after covid all the food that you people eat is minimum five days old I was the guy who puts it in the microwave heats it and packs it up you fools eat it and pay gst over and above thatI feel ashamed that I was doing this through swiggy and zomato probably to unsuspecting kids
