I was disappointed with the food at Dakshin, more so maybe my expectations of the food was higher since I have already eaten in the past at Dakshin Chennai. The staff at the restaurant are top notch 5/5 for them but I was disappointed with the sambar and rasam! Coming from Chennai have had the best sambar and rasam before but maybe because I am used to a certain taste fromTamilnadu I did not find their stuff to be great and it was more like the Karnataka version with cinnamon for sambar and rasam slightly different too! Parota wasn’t upto the mark and anywhere close to what the original one is like! Filter coffee did not have a strong taste to it and the milk rather seemed diluted!Good things were the fruit payasam, banana jaggery dessert and The sides! I would prefer to go to the Dakshin that existed in chennai earlier than this one! Personal choices! If you are someone who likes the Chennai version of sambar then please give this place a skip!Mr Sunil was an excellent host and we had no complaints !

It is great experience. This cozy restraint has left the best impression! Hospitable Host Mr. Sunil Subbaiah was just great! Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wonderful dessert & and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
