I went there to Have Thali and they didnt have it so i went for bisebelle bath(sambar rice). I was surprised they offered raita as a side instead of appalam/pappad. I have to pay extra for it.The sambar rice i got had lot of burnt jeera and chilli so I didnt enjoy the rice. I ended up paying $14+ for a plate of sambar rice and appalam, which i found it to be expensive. The place was not clean for a dine-in.The service was quick.I dont recommend this place as of now.

I dont review most places, but I feel the need to here. The food was subpar at best, and totally not worth the money. Most things were uncooked and seem to have prepared carelessly. Please dont ruin the good name of udupi. These restaurants take advantage of the fact that Indians keep coming and dont maintain quality.

The food was good enough but we placed an order for pick-up at 5, got there at 5:30 and actually left with the food almost an hour later. People there did not know what was going on. One UberEats person was really upset because the delay was costing money and allow her other order to get cold. We do not plan to go back

We got mysore bonda, dosa, and mutton chukka. The chukka was good, dosa was average, and bonda was oily and smelt like they used old oil. The place did not feel inviting and comfortable: all paper/disposable plates and cups, self service, etc. Not good place for family dine in.

We went there for Dine in on Sunday Evening. And order Gobi Munchurian, Paneer Dosa and Chana Bhutura. Starting with Munchurian i would say it was Ok. But then chana, Looks like they used garbanzo beans from Can. It was not mixed with gravy. Just the oil was all over. We used our spoon to take oil from it. Very disappointed. And finally Dosa had lot of oil too. Also when you Dine in they will give you all the utensils and paper napkins. But over here from water, Napkins, and Utensils you need to get by your self. And after you finish eating you throw everything in trash. And Foam cup to drink water. That’s not Dine in.I don’t know if I will go back.

We had someone in our group who recently came from India; back in India he regularly enjoys lot of authentic food of excellent quality. Even he agreed that this is really good food, does it need any better certificate? From my personal viewpoint, this is definitely the best South Indian food that I have ever eaten in US - I really enjoyed the buffet that was extremely vegan friendly. Got an opportunity to speak to the owner too, and expressed our gratitude. We will definitely visit many more times.

DIRTY & DINGY. By Far this place has been our WORST experience. Not sure how these guys can get away and still in business. No Hand sanitizer or the lady not even wearing mask which is mandatory. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala and my hubby almost threw up it was disgusting and tasted very old. Looks like it was put in microwave and brought. Vada was hard like rock though we asked rasa vada, they ran out of rasam. Under the table we saw spiders and that was it. We could not eat anymore & we paid the bill and left. The lady never even asked why we left without even having 2 servings of the absolute GROSS Food. Udupi chain in India is quite nice and this is a shame for their name. On a Sat evening when we were the only guys dining in, we should have gone elsewhere.

We came for dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was completely empty. Ordered chili paneer and they gave us tofu instead of paneer. We asked for 3 cokes, and we’re told there was only one. Ordered two mango lassis and they were warm. When we asked for ice, they said they didn’t have any. Warm beverages are an ongoing issue here. The ambience of the restaurant is very dingy. The dosas were decently flavored, but the experience as a whole was lackluster at best.

1. There was a pin (a metal stapler pin) on the bread.(The staff was quick to replace the bread. No reason was offered about what caused the mistake but they were quick to act and replace the bread. The lady in charge came and apologized. I understand — mistakes happen. Would urge them to not repeat this with anybody.)2. The use of Styrofoam bowls during their buffet is absolutely unacceptable.(If you are a patron, urge them to switch to durables. The food prices are competitive — I see no reason for not being able to wash dishes. If you care about the planet, if you care about the health of your kids — urge them, as a patron — to switch to durables.Ditch disposables in “for-here” or “to-stay” settings. Vote from your pocket. Give a damn.)

Even though name is Udupi, taste is no where near South India. If you ever had bad south Indian dishes in Northern parts of India (Mainly in morning breakfast menu of random hotel), it exactly tastes the same. There are other food places around this area which make better Idly/Dosa than here. So, flagship Udupi name is not worth of it. I am giving 2 stars for the menu and place.

If you are looking for a place to eat, no matter how hungry you are, DO NOT go here. Youll probably be better off going to a different country and eating. Itll definitely be faster. They bring half the order and will keep telling you the other half is coming soon for another half an hour. After which your hunger would have died and you wont like the food anyways. When youll tell the manager, he will just say sorry and run to the kitchen, not to be seen anytime soon again. One of the worst service I have seen ever.

We visited this place for a quick lunch over a regular grocery run. It turned out to be very disappointing when it comes to taste. We ordered a South Indian Veg Thali and it had all the currys with high water content and no vegetables to find. that said, the papad was placed on top of hot rice which made it soggy. The curd was slightly sour and we felt we paid for nothing. The Roti offered in the south indian thali was like a newbie trying to roast one. That said, the service was very good though. that said who cares that icing is good if the cake is rotten.
