Food was delicious but the service was very bad. The starter and main course were served together. The waiter never bothered to come and ask if we wanted anything more. We had to get up and go to the counter to order extra dishes. One of the waiter was busy watching something on his laptop.Tamarind king prawns was delicious and hence the stars.

Used the takeaway. Great portions and food piping hot when it arrived. I hope this wasnt a one off. Will def be ordering from here again

Miidle of the week, not busy time & we got sub standard products. Starting with poppadoms soggy, stale & dips wr average. Butter Chicken coconut flavoured sweet glue curry, no taste except sugar. Vegetable Dhanshak dish served without lentils sweet & sour taste, no aroma. Saag Paneer spinach tossed in tomato onion gravy with fried chunks of paneer. Garlic Nans were only good part of the meal. I am really sorry folks but cant deny the fact that this is not Indian food whatever Rajput is serving. Thanks

This is my first time from ordering food from here. Service was second to none and food was amazing. Nando made sure my vegan diet was catered for. This is my new number 1 Indian restaurant. I cant recommend it enough ❤😊

Butter chicken is my go to when Im hungry so Ive had a fair few from around different places. The Rajput has to be thee most bland tasteless pasty one yet I think they must have forgot to add any flavour and gave me a Korma. At that price I expect better.

Ordered meals at 19.30 on their website waited hour and half and still no sign of it tried phoning no one would pick up gave them another half hour still nothing phoned more than 15 times. Will not order from this place again terrible customer service. So someone picked up 3 hours later said order didnt go through even though I had order number leaving it to late to reorder. Busy night fine but pick up the phone and let the customer know when they call the first time.

Beautiful food. Had sizzling seabass, one of the chefs specialities. Very welcoming and great customer service. Bring your own bottle, always a plus!

The worst food ever I had, I had even specified them less oil... But I got delivered very oily starters. We ordered three curries, 3 of them tastes the same and worst too... We couldnt eat and dumped off all the food... Waste of money, and I dont recommend to visit this restaurant... Obsolutely disappointed, will never order from here...

Service is very good. A little too attentive at times. I thought the food wasn’t great. I’ve had way better curries. Too much heat and not enough flavour. They did try their best to make up for it though. Nice people.

Firstly I ordered 4 mains, 3 of which were average considering the fact it cost £50 for a takeaway with one starter, 4 mains and no side dishes.My daughter ordered a butter chicken and ended up with chicken korma - which was so sweet it was inedible. When I phoned to ask if it could be replaced the guy told me I was wrong and that butter chicken is made with coconut and sugar. I’ve eaten a lot of Indians and I have never came across a recipe for butter chicken that has coconut and lots of sugar. The guy eventually admitted that the chef had probably put too much sugar into the dish But he still refused to change the dish or give me an exchange even though you can look at them a recipe on you will not find a butter chicken made with coconut and large amounts of sugar.All In All in all I was very disappointed with how they handled the situation. The manager was rude and the customer service awful. He blatantly lied to palm me off with an incorrect dish. I won’t be returning and they can say goodbye to my business.

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Belfast.It might not look like much from the outside and they dont do things like desert or coffee but the food is sensational and the staff are quick and knowledgeable about the menu and will help you if your a novice.Make sure you book as it gets really busy at the weekend, oh and its bring your own which is always nice

Excellent service on a quiet weeknight. The butter chicken is a little sweet for me but perfect for kids. The tandoori prawns were excellent. Portions are good sized; not stingy but not overly big.

My daughter,granddaughter and myself had a meal last night in the Rajput, I could not wait on it opening again and I was not disappointed the food was magnificent, the service brilliant even the younger staff, where so attentive. Food was nice but service was terrible. We went to the late sitting last Saturday night bearing in mind its a late sitting for a reason due to a live singer, plenty of alcohol and noise. One staff member in particular actually came to our table and said keep the noise down, this isnt happening tonight or we will ask you to leave We werent even being that noisy, the restaurant as a whole was very noisy given the fact there was a live singer and every table was full, in fact one table in particular had people dancing on the chairs. For the rest of the night this individual was extremely rude to us.

I am a tourist from India. I have been to different cities and different places in the UK and Europe as well. This is the first time that I saw a Restaurant cheating openly like this.We ordered 3 dishes and 3 breads. To be specific, we ordered Channa Masala and Saag paneer which were for £4.75 and £4.95 respectively in the menu. We pointed out the same to the waiter while ordering.However, they charged us £11.95 each for the same and gave us the check by just writing on this piece of paper. When we asked for an invoice, they said they are not legally bound to issue the same and blackmailed us to pay the whole amount or they won’t let us get out.This was a horrific experience.

Good food but very noisy

Recently expanded, this place has excellent courteous staff and a great menu. They dont serve alcohol, but you can bring your own for a small service charge. The Methi dish is particularly great.

Fairly nice decor, good service staff but the food was very average. We had four dishes in total in a party, they all tasted the same!!!!

Good food but rude staff rushed us out and the bill didnt look quite right at the end. We were running late and can understand busy Saturdays but couldve been handled better.

A disappointing experience. Refused to refund me after staff incorrectly took my order. Very rude. 3/5 for cleanliness from the council as well.Cinnamon in Dundonald or Mumbai 27 in Belfast City Centre are far superior.

Been a while since I have had an Indian meal. Mainly because I am not all the adventurous when it comes to spicy food. I had a chance to try the Rajput with friends on a Friday night. It’s one of a number of new restaurants that seem to be springing up around the Ballyhackamore area making it a hot spot for the young and trendy. There was certainly no shortage of patrons in the restaurant when we arrived. We were seated quickly and offered drinks. It’s not licensed which may put some off but a quick nip across the road to the off license shouldn’t inconvenience most people. Usual popadoms etc. Ordered chicken tikka korma with some nice rice and some peshwari nan. Chicken was delicious. Nice big chunks in traditional korma sauce. This was hoovered up in style with nothing left I can assure you. Various other main courses just as delicious. Definitely worth a visit and hope it will not be as long before my next Indian meal.

Very poor experience. The food was nice, not amazing but still pretty good but the atmosphere was horrible. There was a crowd of rowdy people singing doing cocaine in the toilets and then the establishments singer came over and made everyone at our table feel uncomfortable by singing in the ears even though we did nothing to attract his attention. Ill not be back.-------Updated review -My partner wanted to try here for Valentines Day and we ordered a delivery order over Uber eats.The good - delivery was on time and my partner enjoyed the tikka masala.The okay - the chicken was borderline cooked right.The bad - the jalfrezi was bland, with very little sauce and the rice was over cooked.I almost always get jalfrezi and the over riding flavours are of capsicum and coriander. This was watery and tasted like a reheated curry (either that or from frozen and given the dry rice I have my suspicions).Ill definitely give it a wide berth and dont believe the reviews online I suspect some are false.Avoid. Like. The. Plague.Bithika is better.

No taste or flavours to the food..Prawn Korma was bland and tasted of coconut...prawns seemed to have been just thrown into the sauce..very expensive...had to pay also for the rice portion..the food needs to be kept warm at the table ...really disappointed!
