Really tasty meal the other night. Best ingredients so fresh. I had the korma and the only fault I could find with it was that there wasn’t enough of it. Definitely recommend and will be back ☻
Fantastic meal tonight, first time eating here and will be back. The place was very clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was fantastic and piping hot. The staff thanked us for coming as we were leaving and were very genuine. Well worth a try if you are in the area.
Just bought a takeaway from this place. Waited 2 hours for the food to arrive!2 hours!!The chips were like rubber, the chicken was off and the sauce had a bad taste in 3 different meals and to top it off it was all freezing cold.Ended up throwing all 3 meals in the bin.Never get a takeaway from this restaurant.If this is their best effort then lord only knows what their worst is.Awful awful service.Never will anyone in the house or our uncles house ever use this place again.Zero stars from us.

I go here regularly and am never disappointed. I had a dish called the Rossani this time - delicious sweet and cream with and underlying sweet sourness... Might be a new favourite 👍

Tasty curries at reasonable prices, perfect for a cheery dine in or takeaway. Ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi which were both tasty but the tikka masala was very creamy and had a lot of sugar in it. If you like it this way then thats fine but its not overly authentic.
Get ORDERING a Raj tonight , best food about forget your Chinese, Indian food is the food by far. Especially from the Raj lisburn road. Unbelievably good. Friendly staff also..
The food is really, really, reaaaally good! Just could pay a bit more attention to details, like fingerprints on your glass, old food on the bottom of plates etc.
Ordered via their own app, was told food would be ready by 17.09pm but had to wait around 15mins when I got to the restaurant. Got home to realise that they had forgotten part of the order. The madras was bland and tasted more creamy than a madras should. Safe to say I was very disappointed and unimpressed and will not be ordering again
Was there to pick up food, walk into the restaurant, waited until person behind the counter had finish taking a Telephone order,only to be told rudely to go at the back of the shop to collect my order.I did so and to my surprise 😲, I was greeted at the fire door, which is at the back of the kitchen which is situated between the big smelly commercial wheeled bins where all the carbage and waste foods is put in, by a kitchen staff, who gave me my order.I asked if this i would have to collect my order at the back of this shop again next time, and I was told, yes.Im afraid I wont be back.Why serve food from a unclean outside area which is hard to control due to the elements when a clean and control area is available for picking up food orders.??
Delicious Indian food, however the staff can be rude at times and the food always takes a while to come out. However, I think the quality of the food is worth the wait! Would recommend the Peshawari naan, one of the best in Belfast.

Tandoori chicken was off and smells like an old gym bagCalled the restaurant and spoke to the manager this evening and explainedI told him I was giving him the chance to rectify the issue rather than putting a bad review up. He said call direct next time dont order via third party and we will sort something. He refused to acknowledge that the chicken was off or replace
Rang for del staff very rude I ordered of the menu on their web site it came to £30.70 including del. They added it up to £36.90 when I asked why the difference was told thats it, I pointed out its not the advertised price made no difference to them very rude because if covid they are charging what they like rip of I cancelled order and went to bithka just as nice less attitude.

For sit in dinner or take out, this Indian restaurant is first class! Great selection of starters, main courses and sundries available. Excellent quality of food, generous portion sizes, excellent value for money. Waiter service friendly and efficient. Ordering take away, if you order 3 main courses you get a free plain nan bread. Highly recommend for both sit in or take away.

Really enjoyed the experience. Staff at the Raj are very welcoming and friendly. Able to offer plenty of insight in what dish to try and recommend drinks to accompany them. Food was very tasty and price more than reasonable. Restaurant was strangely a bit chilly and had to ask a couple of times for a glass of water. Some of the waiting staff are better than others but would recommend.
I ordered a takeaway for delivery. Notification came through to my phone that it was with the driver. Thirty minutes later it arrived and yes it was cold. I rang to explain my situation and basically was told there was nothing that could be done. I understand that there is a middle person delivering but surely if you order food then it should arrive hot? I felt that I was dismissed and the whole attitude was it left here hot so.....I definitely would not recommend ordering from here. Very disappointed.

Great food, terrible service from who Im assuming was the manager. Would not recommend going with a Groupon voucher as when it is produced the once welcoming smile quickly evaporates.Check what youre paying for as I was overcharged for my last meal and they wont give you an itemized receipt. Shame really as it was once one of my favourite places.

As regular visitors to many different Indian restaurants we have become fussy eaters to put it mildly. We were therefore pleasantly surprised by the quality of both food and service at the Raj. The food was fresh and really tasty and service was superb. Thank you for making our first visit to Belfast memorable for good food!
An authentic taste of India. The food is first class and staff are always friendly and will make suggestions if youre not too sure.After 7pm it tends to be busy at the weekend.You can order out if thats your fancy and collect. I dont think they deliver.
Ive always loved the food from this restaurant and have eaten in it dozens of times but tonight I ordered through Deliveroo and the restaurant accepted the order and according to Deliveroo were preparing it for about half an hour. The rider then turned up to find the restaurant was closed so my order was cancelled and refunded. No answer from the restaurant when Deliveroo tried to contact them. Very disappointing and wont be ordering from or visiting again anytime soon.

The food was absolutely delicious. They have a spice system on their menu so you can tell how hot each dish is. Staff were really friendly. Ill definitely be back.

Very very disappointed. I never thought that i could go out with my family and eat that kind of food. The price was very high and food very bad. I feel like i was robbed. I would recommend to stay away from this place.

We have been coming here for the past 10 years. It is one of the nicest places to eat with great fresh cooked to order dishes. The staff remember your favourite dishes and drinks and are always very attentive. We will be coming back for year and years to come. Keep up the fantastic job guys.
Restaurant is like a front room but its clean and cosy. Food isnt too expensive and service fab. Love it here!

Ordered the food at 1922 told to arrive at 2000 ,arrived at 1947 never got my food to 2017. Now the management didnt say sorry and give me a free bottle of beer ,badly managed in time of stormy weather, though the food is nice and affordable rates. Which is good as its hard to find an good Indian restaurant and take out .if you like this review please give me like 👍

Great food. A real point of great customer service is that the waitress was perceptive to the needs of a solo diner. Recommending portions and meals etc. The saag here is amongst the best that I have eaten.

The older man serving was rude and service was not good at all. Bought a deal on Groupon which said three course meal for 2. There was no choice of starter you were given a sharing platter served on a horrendous side plate. You got to choose a main which was great news although you get no choice of side, it has to be pilau rice so we ended up paying for chips and a naan bread, we sat and waited to see if there was a desert menu, no one came near us so I walked up to the till paid the extra 6.50 and left. For over £30 I would have preferred to use this amount in the Bengal Brasserie up the street where they arent as miserable! Wouldnt go back here....

Very warm and welcome service by the staff and the owner. When we feedback our chicken tikka masala was not spicy, they quickly redo it without hesitation.All the other food are nice too. Will definitely go back again.
Takeaway. Price same as others, presentation same as other, portion size good, taste bland , disappointing. Rogan josh should be bursting with flavour , it really was not.

I visited with work colleagues and thought this place was pretty good. Unfortunately the popps werent gluten free so I couldnt have those, so had chicken tikka for a starter instead. It was tasty and just the right size, not dry at all.I had lamb Rogan for main and I was surprised when the dish arrived. Im used to a non-creamy curry with lots of tomato with a medium heat. This was creamy - like a Korma! Anyway I tucked in and was pleasantly surprised. It wasnt at all spicy but was flavoursome and filling. The lamb was tender and there was plenty of it.If youre looking for a traditional lamb Rogan you might be disappointed (they will make a dish for you if its not on the menu).We had a bottle of Shiraz which wasnt as smooth as Id hoped, so wouldnt buy that particular bottle again. Overall though it was good and Id go back again

Good food, tables a little crowded and decor slightly out of date, but its the food that matters most. Ordered a Raj Grill, big portion and very tasty, comes with rice and a veg is curry sauce too so good value.
The waitress advised me. I was looking for a low fat, not too spicy meal. My husband really enjoyed his chicken tikka masala.
