Nice food. Quite enjoyed it. The service was poor though. Got a waitress that couldnt add on the tip properly.

Asked for my chicken to be left raw in the middle and it was given to me pink and bloody in centre. Hard to get in most places. Glad that you appreciate customers preferences. Hope youve also got the secret special item ready for me from Colombia again as I will be back very soon. Lovely people lovely place.

Food was quite good, but staff service wasnt the greatest it was quite few team members standing about but it took them a while till they came and took our order.And this was lunch time it was max 10 customers in the restaurant.Would give another go but perhaps at the different location

I got serious food poisoning from here sadly. Verifiably true as it was the only meal I had eaten that day. It’s usually a great place but this incident has really put me off ever returning sadly :( I’m not sure if it’s a one off incident due to a new inexperienced chef perhaps but it’s hard to defend.

Had a Punti shared meal for 2 with my over half, but any way it was very enjoyable and although looks small when you first see the 4 dishes it was just nice for myself and my wife (did not include the baby milk😊)

Overpriced! Hidden extras all over final bill. Ordered starter to share for 2 but was charged £8.70 per person. How is that a sharing platter when your charged twice? Surely they should have brought out 2 starters! Effectively charged £17 for a starter?? Tasted OK right enough....main courses ordered 2 garlic and black pepper stir fry which comes without noodles or rice, never heard of a stir fry without noodles? we ordered noodles each which was an extra £8 onto final bill, noodles were bland absolutely tasteless.... Nice place but overall dissapointed couldnt say there was any value for money will walk past next time.

Great meal good service staff really friendly

Went for a friend’s birthday meal. The food was extremely delicious and the decor is quirky and cool. The service was excellent and food was reasonably priced. We had given the manager a cake to bring out at the end for our friend and the highlight was when the entire team came through singing and playing drums to wish our friend. It may seem like a small thing but it was rather special for our friend. Will definitely go back to try more dishes.

Simply the best Thai food Ive eaten anywhere in or around Glasgow. Ive been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is always good, the staff are always great. Keep up the good work and get a Thaikhun in Glasgow centre 👍

Was going somewhere else and seen this place & decided to pop in with the Mrs (shes Thai) as i thought it might cheer her up to have some nice Thai food. We were greeted with a warm welcome and were shown to our seats when not long after we had our drinks brought to us. The Mrs had a Pina colada & i had the Thai iced tea. People say start how you mean to go on & if that was anything to go by the Thai iced tea, Tead us up for what was to come which was nothing short of spectacular. We had ordered the Papaya Salad with some extras, Prawn Tom yum & a Thai Masaman Katsu Curry. The Papaya salad we shared as a side and its the first dish id like to tell you about. We have been to Thailand a few times and this took us straight back there on a one way ticket with no intention of coming back. INCREDIBLE! The Prawn Tom yum was described by the Mrs as and i quote A Taste of Home. I never had the chance to look sideways at the Tom Yum as it was inhaled at the quickest of speeds. The Masaman Katsu was perfection on a plate. The curry rich but not spicy and the chicken crispy yet succulent. To top this all off not only where the staff fantastic and helpful but the environment adds to the meal with a Thai styled ambience, old wooded walls & a lot of things obviously brought over from Thailand, culminating with me & the Mrs leaving having had felt like we were indeed in Thailand on holiday!!! Thoroughly pleased & will most definitely be back again! Compliments to the chef!!

Im a big fan of Thai Khun and always come in for Pad thai and tom yum soup takeaway. Really disappointed today as I came and wait at the front door, a few staffs made an eye contact with me and just walked away! I was standing at the door and I see it wasnt even busy and had 6 people walking around. Food is amazing but customer service just wasnt there.

We had come to celebrate special Birthday evening of my sons GF but everything seemd to go wrong and it was only Tuesday (not a weekend when they would be busy)1. Loongg wait for every item to arrive2. Forgot about my wifes starter, had to cancel3. Vegan Pinto ordered but were given Chicken 🐓4. again another 30 mins wait and dessert is still to arrive5. No apology, nobody seemed to have time to ask/check with customers6. Only thing positive thing about the evening was, Food.Not sure if we would ever come back🙏

Ive been here twice. Great place! I forgot that I was in Scotland while I ate here. The interior of the restaurant totally feels like Thailand, and many of the staff are Thai. Everything is authentic, right down to the bathroom sinks and the cutlery cover. The food was delicious as well. Ill be back next time Im in Scotland.

Had been a while since my last visit nice to have another good experience, I ordered the Bangkok Bad Boy burger and a mojito cocktail the burger was delicious and cooked perfectly, and the cocktail was refreshing recommend the burger when you are there.

Very disappointing experience this afternoon... Weve ordered Tom Kha Soup (New on the Menu) waitress brought us Tom Yum- took it back promising to solve misunderstanding.. after several minutes waiting they brought us what they called Tom Kha but it was just weak version of Tom Yum...Really...We are Thaikun regulars and big fans of Thai cuisine...we are aware whats the difference between those 2 soups... a bit of the shock, we rather never expected to be treated like that 😢

Really enjoyed our visit to Thaikhun Silverburn this Friday! The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Social distancing was done really well - the restaurant still had its ambiance whilst keeping everyone safe! Also really great value for money (ordered the pinto - more than enough for two and tasted really good). Would highly recommend!

This Thai restaurant in Silverburn advertises itself as Thai street food, while I dont know about that, the lunch menu for £10. 50 is certainly tasty and definitely worth the money. I had Thai fish cakes aromatic and tasty : and main Thai red curry a favourite of mine, since I had a glass of wine, it was a little more expensive, but not bank breaking. The service was what you would expect, absolutely no complaints

Could make a better curry Myself from supermarket ingredients. Takes too long to serve drinks. Service too slow at peak times & staff out their depth. Wont be back & regretted even entering the place.

Absolutely blown away, stopped by for a late lunch/ early dinner and the starter was brilliant but it was the main course (chichen thai green) that blew me away - best Ive had in Scotland and better than any I had in Thailand at the start of the year. Atmosphere was brilliant too (great cherry on top)

Thaikhun was a brilliant restaurant, but over the last 5 years standards of food have slipped. It a great shame because its a good atmosphere from the decor.

Had an amazing cooking class here with a group of friends. Our instructor Jan was friendly, funny and couldnt be more helpful! All of the food coming from the kitchen looked awesome too. Will definitely be back!

Favourite place in the World 🥰❤️Brings me back to my hometown all fresh authentic Thai good street foods!Never a day when I see that place not mobbed/fully booked.With good reason too.If you need a birthday/celebration etc. It’s goes yards for you they sing you ‘happy birthday, clanging pots n pans!’ It’s such a fun way to surprise your loved ones with this world-wind of experience at a great price.The spicy level can be adjusted to your liking, vegetarian/vegan friendly and you gotta try the Pandan Rice/Mango Sticky rice for dessert.(VERY POPULAR)It’s always a fab ending to your meal, there’s always room for it! The staff were very polite and helpful. Food was varied but well produced and served. The menu was well explained and questions quickly answered by staff. Portions were excellent and all food was served punctually.

Experience a feeling of being transported to Thailand. Rustic restaurant with Thai theme. The food was excellent, we ordered the Pinto which was a real taste extravaganza! Sweet and sour, Singapore noodles and hot spicy green Thai curry. The only downside was slow service. Great if you love Thai food in a casual setting.

Just experienced the best morning ever! Got a Thaikun cookery school voucher for Christmas. Fantastic day. Learnt how to make tom yum soup and chicken red curry. Jan our chef was amazing, her passion for Thai food is infectious. She was so helpful, answering all the classes questions. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Excellent value for money as you make more food than you can eat on the day and you can take home the rest. Truly inspiring and the mini cocktail making session first thing was a great addition. Starting to busy _up but staff are freindly and on hand

Food was fantastic as always. My partner and I frequently visit the restaurant and cannot fault the standards by any means. However our experience was made all the better on this occasion by a new face. A young trainee member of staff (unfortunately didnt catch his name). He showed to us that he was passionate about his job and had a willingness to go above and beyond by explaining the menu to us. Seemed to have a great knowledge of the foods and even gave his own personal recommendations. He was very attentive and was always on hand to make sure our glasses were never empty and that our food was of a quality standard. We will definitely be back and we both hope to see this young gentleman again thriving in his position.

Spicy healthy and tasty with 5 star service

Tasty food. We had the sharer platter for starters and then a main each. Walked out feeling very full. Not the cheapest place but was worth it. Good to get away from the madness of Christmas shoppers. Staff were very efficientWould happily go back.

My restaurant of choice every time!Food is delicious, made fresh to order in an open kitchen using authentic methods.Prices are very cheap for the amount of food you get.I recommend going for the Pinto to mix and share dishes!They always manage to seat us, even when the whole family is there and it is a large group.They also do take away!!!

We visit Silverburn two or three times a year and for a change we visited Thaikhun. Crackin idea. A good menu with really tasty Thai food. We had the lunchtime special which was delicious. Service was speedy, probably 10 minute wait for our meal. Staff were on the ball. Cant wait for next time.

First the good point. The main courses were really tasty. Enjoyed them a lot.BUT! The starter platter was a rip off. £8 each for basically four wee bites! Rip off.The service was pretty poor. They forgot drinks, then we were ignored after our plates were taken away. We were not asked if we wanted anything else like a drink or dessert. In the end we had to flag someone down for the bill and pay up. It wasnt even that busy and lots of staff seemed to be working.Not impressed

Went there on Saturday night. Seated and served quickly. The food was excellent, I had the massaman curry which was superb. First time iv been to this restaurant but would definitely return. They sell alcohol but no beer on draft though for anyone who prefers that.

I have been there a few times, before typically it is very good place to go for food though last time, for our anniversary, we went for dinner there before going to see a movie, the service was great until the bill. The waiter who brought our bill was extremely rude and inconsiderate, especially when we had some minor card issues. This had left me and and my girlfriend distressed and over, no upon contacting management there has been no reply, very disappointed will not return again and cannot recommend either.

This was the first time we went to this restaurant on Friday 10th August. Most impressed with the food and the servings. Excellent value. Also gives 20% off bill if you have cinema tickets for the day.Would highly recommend it and hope to go again.

This place was terrible. Got a garlic and black pepper chicken stir fry which was served on a saucer and still charged me £10.50. The stir fry was not tasty at all it looked as if it was previously a soy sauce soup then they tossed some chicken in. Very pricey for what you get.

Visited Thaikhun in Silverburn with my family this evening. Have been there on a few occasions before and impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff. This evening, once again was delighted by the attention of the staff and especially Katie who ensured we enjoyed our evening and the very delicious food. Never had a bad experience at this restaurant and will continue to visit and would highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

A wonderful Thai place, the service is really fast and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is also done up nicely like an authentic Thai street market, and overall just a really good place to be in.
