We didnt try the larger main dishes, but instead had 5 or so of their small plates to share, with a dessert. Their dishes were varied and all reasonably priced.Good selection of wines and drinks to accompany the meal. Service was great and attentive.

I enjoyed a lovely birthday meal at Olio, a restaurant on the terrace of the Homewood Hotel. The food was lovely, we enjoyed the spiced tiger prawns and chorizo and salt and pepper Brixham squid for starters followed by the spiced Cornish cod and the Walter Rose lamb cutlets and the sticky toffee pudding for dessertEverything was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The staff were attentive and surprised me with a lovely plate of birthday chocolate truffles.Only reason im not giving it 5 stars is because of dogs being allowed at the restaurant... Yes i know its an outdoor restaurant and people love their dogs and I like spending time with dogs just not in a restaurant

Wow, loved it here! The food is absolutely delicious and we all enjoyed our meals enormously. The setting on the terrace is beautiful and blessed as we were with a hot, sunny day, we could almost have imagined the Mediterranean sparkling behind us. My only complaint is that we live too far away to come often!

Food is excellent with high-tier service and approachable staff, nothing too pretentious. Great outdoor facilities to enjoy the gardens, with domes/Igloos (seats 6, I believe) and summer houses discreetly positioned about to enjoy the view while accommodating our unpredictable weather. Its worth noting the large idyllic gardens surrounding the estate make the nearby road completely unnoticeable, but with the benefit of being just outside of Bath so-as to avoid the hectic city center. There is a large play area off to one side of the estate for younger family members as well as provision for dogs.I cannot overstate how picturesque the gardens are, highly recommend visiting in good weather although Id suggest booking in advance, particularly for the domes/Igloos and summer houses which Im told go quickly.

Incredible venue in an Incredible location. Sadly only there for dinner and not for a stay. Given a royal welcome by our friend who is the food & beverage manager and his young staff. Exceptional food & wine on a beautiful summers evening Al fresco on the terrace.Salt & pepper Squid for me followed by a shared whole lobster along with samphire, edamame & fine beans and tenderstem broccoli. Affagato for dessert, coffee and an old fashioned.Absolute delight.
