Adrian and his team went above and beyond at their hotel EIGHT in Bath. We have booked a beautiful room for our wedding stay, as we were getting married in Roman Baths. My now husband and I have absolutely loved the stay and we cant wait to return again. Nothing was too much trouble, I cant recommend this place enough. Thank you Adrian, you are a big asset to this place. Also to add the hotel is literally close to everything and then you can easily explore the beauty of Bath city.

Stayed in June and Absolutely lovely town house right in the centre. Very convenient for everything, Roman baths just around the corner. Breakfast fab and would definitely recommend and would return

Stayed in the hotel. Accommodation so cute, endearing and aside from the paper walls (if youre loud or you prefer pindrop silence... This is not the place for you) it was great. Gorgeous and comfortable.

After making an error with our booking dates ...we were so pleased that Natalie and Adrian could still accommodate us.Excellent email communication.Room clean, well equipped with a window that opened.Breakfast superb. Excellent eggs Benedict. Really fresh and varied fruit salad.Such a shame the restaurant is closed until 2021.We will certainly be back.

Amazing hotel, our room was incredible. It was massive, spotlessly clean and the lady at check in and breakfast was a total pleasure. A happy warm greeting goes a long way and thats definitely what you get at Eight. Ooh and the fantastic breakfast xx

We loved our stay at Eight.The room was clean as clean can be, had everything we needed to get comfortable, and we could even see the Abbey from our room - lovely.The staff were amazing, Adrian was very welcoming when we got there, and when Nathalie took over she couldnt do enough for us.Location is great, virtually everything youd want to do in a short trip to bath is right on the doorstep, the only hindrance was loud music on Saturday night, but that may have been coming from a parked car - might not be a frequent issue. It wasnt so bad as to prevent sleep.Breakfast was great. Were a vegan couple and the staff made sure we were well catered for; both mornings we set off on our day full and prepared.Great stay, would be very keen to repeat if were in Bath again.

I stayed a night for Valentine’s Day. The location was great, very close to the Roman baths and lots of shopping and places to eat. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a bit noisy outside our room but ear plugs were available with the room. This is a obvious trade off for being so close to the city centre. It was a very intimate place to stay with only 5 rooms in total. Breakfast was also included and pretty good. Staff were also very kind and smiley. I defiantly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bath, I will certainly be returning soon.

I to post a review to say what a lovely meal we had here last night. Food, service, ambience, all were faultless. Id like to be able to comment on the wine but I wasnt drinking, but our companions seemed more than happy. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was the best meal that we have had in Bath for many years. The food was of very high quality and half the price that you would pay for a fine dining experience. With a genial atmosphere and attentive service, we couldnt fault it. Definitely going back asap.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ordered the beef cheeks and wild mushrooms and they were both fantastic. Beef cheeks were very tender and the sauce with it was excellent. The wild mushroom dish had a fantastically rich sauce as well. Both dishes were well balanced with some crispy greens. Suggested wine pairings were on point. Would definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Really enjoyed this stylish petite place on North Parade. Tasteful decor, personal service and a great menu. Highly recommended.Not that the Google map location was incorrect and the establishment can be found opposite the Hideout cocktail bar.

Lovely place. Great service. Good concept. Medium portions are a little lager than my expectation so if you fancy desert maybe have one plate and an appetizer. The quality was lovely and good value.

Massively enjoyed our visit to eight tonight! Amazing wine, amazing food and amazing dessert :-) we tried the pigeon, and the plaice with saffron risotto and couldn’t recommend it more!The poached pear with gingerbread cake, and the lemon meringue pie was also fabulous. Would definitely come back!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. The room was amazing, very clean and furnished to a very good standard. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, from Adrian who was on hand in the morning to the two owners in the evening. We ate out in the evening but the dining room looked great, the breakfast was exceptional. I will definitely come back.

Not cheap, but worth every penny. Fantastic menu. Also, go with their wine suggestions too. The French Martinis are also worth a try.

Stayed for 1 night with friends!! Absolutely fantastic, the staff were so attentive especially the male manager. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. Such a lovely hotel in an ideal location, which has clearly been designed with an excellent eye for detail. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Absolutely fantastic!! The menu is novel, eight different dishes which can be had as a starter or a main (they are all one size). Id recommend choosing two dishes (assuming you can cut your choice down that far), then have one as a starter and one as a main. Rather than a bottle of wine we went for the recommended wines for each course and were not disappointed.I cannot fault the variety on the menu nor the quality of the food and service, but was puzzled that there were only 6 desserts on the menu and not 8!!Its by no means the cheapest place to eat, but given the quality of the food and the service its great value.Cant recommend highly enough.

Great hotel,Brilliant location

The food, the service and the ambience is fantastic. We have now been twice in less than a week. All of the dishes are cooked to perfection and the wine list is excellent. It is now our top resturant in Bath. We booked under our married name Hay, so keep an eye out we will be back again soon

How can we start?We stay in Bath three to four times a year and have got to know some of the better eating places, such as Soto Soto and the like, we were told about 8 on the evening we were leaving Bath to travel to Devon and decided the recommendation was so good we would come back to Bath the following weekend to eat there.The place is neat and tidy and gives the impression of a well-run establishment, the front of house staff looked after us as if we were old friends returning and went well beyond what you would expect even for a restaurant of this calibre.The food choice was not extensive but gave enough choices to suit most tastes, and it should be noted that if your cooking at this level you’re not going to have all and sundry on the menu.The food was fantastic! Some of the best presented, well cooked food we have had in a long time and oh the flavour of the dishes we had. We came up from Devon paid for a hotel for the night just to try this place out.Our verdict, not a penny or time wasted. If you get a chance go to 8 and see for yourself, we will be adding 8 to our list of special places in Bath and hope to see Adrian and his staff again soon.

Very intimate and beautiful place. Clean lines, without frills, relax you and prepare you to listen to the two girls in the room, present is very nice, both in ways and looks. On plates 3 between 3 first and 3 seconds we shared, all excellent with wow tips on presentation and taste in particular on the first. In the pigeon I found a hunting ball, certainly not good, but removing the pellets from a hunted pigeon, it is not easy to appreciate the origin of the product. The meats, of which I particularly liked the rabbit, cooked very well and with excellent vegetable pairings. Nice evening. Thank you.

We had dinner in this very nice restaurant located in a hotel, the dining room is intimate and welcoming and the service is present and non-invasive. We liked the food well served with distinct and balanced flavors. Booking is mandatory. The quality / price ratio, for the overall experience is excellent. Worth a visit.
