The Mavali Temple at Barsur is also known as the Sri Danteshwari Temple. It is also considered to be a very ancient temple of about 5000 years old. Statues of Brahma and Vishnu are also installed here. It must have been a very attractive temple in ancient times. After the collapse, we are able to see it in todays form. Here the Dashavatar statue of Vishnu and the statue of Brahma, the idol of Mavali Mata are visible.
