We visited grooming salon at this location 2 weeks ago, on our wedding day. Bunny was our ring bearer - she couldn’t look any cuter! Summer was our groomer. She was super friendly and did a fantastic job! The booking process was easy and the ETA was accurate. Highly recommend this location.

Big selection for sure , prices are a little high, some stuff is just ridiculous in price , I understand peoples love of their pets but I think there should be some boundaries. I will probably only come here if I cant find what I need elsewhere. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and their adoption section for cats is very well set up, there is definitely a need for this .

I bought a rat from this place and they said the rats where family friendly and where very lovable I gave it 2 weeks to settle in and when I went to pet it it was very scared and it got used to me but when I tried to pick it up it was so scwermy you couldn’t even hold it and than 6 days later I tried to pet it and it turned around and bit me causing blood to draw from my hand it only got worse from there it stopped allowing us to pet it and hold it it’s going to someone I know who has birds he’s gonna give me one of his tamed rats that is a baby and not some rat that is a year old and he’s gonna feed this rat to a bird do not buy rats from here they are terrible

I find pet smart a bit expensive, but they do carry a large assortment of pet supplies

I am new to being a pet owner. I have done lots of research on beta fish. However, when I was in store I asked for assistance from a gentleman named Alejandro. He was vastly experienced with beta fish and spoke confidently about his recommendations. He told me things I did not even know after weeks of research. He also guided me through what I will be doing in sequential order alongside his recommendations based on his own experience. Great customer service. Fair prices. Wide selection of items.

Ordered two 25lb bags of dry food and a few cans. One bag of food was ripped to shreds and there is kibble everywhere. Called Customer Service and they wanted us to sweep it up, put it in bags, and ship it back AT OUR OWN EXPENSE for the exchange. Their response was basically, too bad, so sad, sweep it up and send it back to us and we will evaluate for a refund. Escalated to a supervisor and they reluctantly agreed to ship another bag without the return but had to send many pictures showing them the mess first. We will NEVER use PetSmart again after years of loyalty.

Honestly, the staff here has always been friendly to me. Its a big box pet store so the products are standard that they sell. Its the friendliest that keeps me coming back.

I went to buy our pups a bunch of treats. Went to the cash and since it was offered to set up an account I thought I’ll provide my FN Status card. I gave it to the cashier right off to speed things up and so she had all my information (name, number, etc). She wouldn’t look at it and instead just wanted me to say the information… then spell it… which I then again said oh, it’s right here on my card. She ignored me and asked me to spell it then check how she did on the screen. It was wrong and I said, that’s why I gave my card. She said well I didn’t know! Then she took my card for my number. She apologized to the next people in line for me inconveniencing everyone. Not there yet in TRC and treating human beings well.

I had my doodle groomed there, she looks so good. Gail was friendly and did an amazing job on Elly. I will bring her back here for her next grooming.

Went to pick up my order and there phone service states to press 3 to let them know you have arrived. I had done this 10 times and each time says this option is not available. Even the sign on there window says once you arrive call this number and extension 3. Tried that again option not available. The girl opens the door rudely says did you press 0 that leads to our store. I told heryour phone service does not have that option and your sign even says the same thing with option 3. Needless to say I wont be ordering anymore from there .

All the time we go there my daughter and I get great service and they are friendly we love going there.

They took good care of my dog. Was worried about how he would handle the bath, but they said he was great. I dont have a bathtub at my house so this was good for me. Well be coming again.

Every online order that goes through fine, comes back incomplete. Considering whats going on its very hard to aquire the right items to feed your animal without making multiple orders and crossing your fingers u actually get what u ordered even after having the order approved.

A very clean and organized location. The staff is friendly and prompt to help and suggest. We always go here to the grooming salon, Deborah in the grooming salon does amazing work! I appreciate her attention to detail, as per my preference, love and care towards my pup. Which is why we return here for her services, time and time again.We have also been to this location to attend training classes offered by Luke, which have helped a great deal. He is very skilled & knowledgeable and always has guidance for our concerns.

Has certain cat foods that Pet Valu doesnt have which is nice, I just wish there was one in Angus. Pet Valu is making a killing over here being the only pet store, and they run out of stock certain cat foods.

Very clean, open, bright and a wide variety of choices and selection for any/all pets. Staff are always available, check out is always quick and Ive never had any issues finding the products I am looking for.

Great service! Love their lockdown efforts. Theyll put heavy items like 40 pound cat litter right in your trunk. Bought 6 and there was no complaining from the staff. Overall the locations are fantastic, but the website to do online ordering extremely weak. Needs to be updated. Id like them to keep online ordering with curbside develivery. Its also your typical big box store, and there are options for indie stores we use for food. Items like litter are very affordable.

I have shopped at this Petsmart before with no problem. The cash line up was half way down the store. Another customer asked an employee if they could open another cash. The response was no. And then the employee walked away. So we waited at least 10 to 15 min. There was a customer holding the line up. Arguing with the cashier. No one came to help the cashier.

Best pet store ever!

Took my pooch in for his first grooming appointment and he came out looking gorgeous and super soft. He got the furminator treatment and they brushed him so thoroughly that he has half the tail he used to! And dont mistake, thats praise, my pup had a tail like a shedding flag. When we picked him up he was happy and even we could tell he was proud of how good he looked and how he felt.

Computer systems slow but managed to purchase cat food online. Once it was ready, I was messaged that items are ready to pick up in which I had curbside pick up. The employee was friendly and prompt :)

The dog are very expensive. The dogs are from a puppy mill cause oi bought a shitsu got paper saying it is and I got a shepoo a mix breed from puddle and shitsu but I love my dog though.

Always helpful with finding or getting items in stock. Staff is usually pretty knowledgeable with whatever you need or are able to quickly find someone in shop who is!

The puppy classes are great. Worth the money. And the instructor is wonderful - 5🌟.However, rather annoyed with the store itself. Theyve been out of my dogs food for a month. I finally had to try and pick a new food she was so low on kibble. Not only do I have to transition her to something else but do you know how hard it is to find a reasonable food? Everything is grain free BS and nothing for weight management. I ended up with a bag of blue buffalo TWICE the price of her normal food.

I have a large cat that needs grooming hes 25 to 30 lbs fixed male cat 5 years old keeps matting fur on the back and cannot clean himself properly so got stuff stuck to rear end how much would it be to get him groomed

No customer care or service from manager. I’ve had a couple of misfortunes with this store. However, after placing a small ordering online, receiving confirmation and waiting the parking lot for 2 hours. I’m writing this review. I placed the order at 1pm, arrived to the store on Bayfield street at 2pm...and proceeded to wait another 2 hours, ( We live out of town and this seemed to be most cost effective for us at the time). During my wait time I contacted the store and talked with the manager multiple times requesting a resolution, and receipt of purchase. I watched employees take smoke breaks, change shifts, and at times there were no customers (sometimes for 20 minute periods, other than us...waiting). During my third plea for the purchase, the manager hung up on me. When asked if he would prefer me to cancel my order or process it, he replied cancel. There was no one in the parking lot but me! After 3.5 hours since original confirmation I did leave. They won- I did not receive my order. The 3-5 minutes it would have and could have taken them to deliver my small order was insignificant to them. I will not return to this store and would encourage others to seek pet needs elsewhere. The south end has an amazing team on hand. I understand these times are unprecedented but there were many breaks in my waiting period in which my order could have been processed. Very saddened by this treatment. Very disappointed.

Great supply and knowledge staff. Trainer Luke is great with the dogs and knows how to manage each dogs unique needs. The salon is also very bright and conveniently located at the front of the store.

Great layout. We usually shop the other PetSmart in Barrie, not the one on Bayfield out of ease of convenience. But the animal habitats are better looking all around and things feel easier to find.

Been going to Gail for quite a few years she is an awesome groomer, but sadly I will not be going back due to the incompetency of Debbie who cannot get her dates straight. Drove 45 minutes and took time off work only to find out Debbie mixed the dates up and due to that booked me in for the next day whereas I was not available. All the girl at the counter could say was sorry.

Good experience - received online sale prices, easy to order, informed right away of out of stock items - however, did not receive email to say my order was ready, but was immediately updated once I signed into the app; poor staff member who brought out my order, she was rushed off her feet, thus slamming my truck lid down very hard, and didnt have time to even acknowledge me.

My dog received an excellent grooming and the staff were very professional and friendly. They love dogs and treated my Labrador Retriever as if she was their own family pet. I greatly appreciated how they were very gentle and reassuring with my dog, when she demonstrated some apprehension and fear with the noise of the dryer. I got almost monthly to the best spaw this side of Toronto. The girls are so kind with our animals, and every time I go all the dogs are so excited to be there. Its also the only place I can find Kangaroo based food from Billy and Margot!

I got a cute hamster from this pet smart location. The Custer handling and of directing customers towards appropriate product is one of the best quality of the store

Very bright, big and spacious store with lots of selection and friendly staff. I was very impressed by this PetSmart location over other locations I have previously visited. The staff are very knowledgeable of the product they are selling and the products are top notch!

It took them 3 hours to cut my Yorkie’s hair and clipped her nails. It was pretty well done. Impressive thing to me was that they kept all the dog’s whiskers intact. I can see those girls working there really care about animals. They have big hearts.

We came in without bringing in our dog but then we spoke to Luke who was amazing and he fitted our dog to a harness that we didn’t plan on getting but realized how much better it actually was and he then took us to his training area and helped us with Maviek!! I love this place because they have such a good return policy and understand that your pet cat may not dig the items you think they will. Animals cant pretend to like a present. They let you know right away if you got it right or not.

Bayfield North location very clean and a penned off area where you bring your pets for grooming is nice to have for safety. My dog had an amazing groom looked perfect. The only thing I did notice that was different from grooming st another location was that my dog didnt smell clean not sure why but I would definitely return to this location.

Great fish. The staff is always there to help right away when you need it. Great selection on cat and dog items. Seem to always have rats for pets. I would recommend this place. Also i like there large viewing window for the grooming part.

Been using this place for all my animals food for over 10 years. And now because I dont have a credit card I cant order my dogs food. Not everyone has a credit card. Im disgusted by the lack of payment options on ordering. U will be loosing my business even after this is over. Anyone having same problem call pet value. There more then happy to take phone orders and pay by debit at door.

I found pine cat litter and it was the perfect price! Also, it truly eliminates all odours one would expect to come across while cleaning a litter box. 1000X better than common litter!!!
