I am a frequent visitor to reliance outlets, be it reliance digital, reliance fresh or reliance smart. Mostly I visit these outlets in Pune at my work place. This time on visit to my hometown-Balasore (Odisha) I visited Reliance smart situated at station road in order to purchase some household goods. As I entered into the outlet I was welcomed with an unpleasant smell of rotten onions. To my surprise in the entire outlet rotten onions were spread all over the floor, there was hardly any place to move, with utmost difficulties I somehow managed to get the goods and reached the billing counter.At the billing counter the sales executive billed the items and handed over the bag ( after taking the due price of the bag) and while I was keeping the goods in my bag he INSTRUCTED me to leave the counter. I asked him to help me to place the goods in the bag as number of goods was high but he replied rudely that its not his job to keep the goods in the bag and I may lodge a complaint for this. After gathering my purchased items I went in search of the store manger to lodge a complaint about the unhygienic condition of the store and the rude behaviour of the billing counter staff, but as informed by the security guard, there was no store manager and also they dont maintain any complaint register. At this I thought to post this review, I have experience excellent services at reliance store at Pune and other cities, but what I have experienced today at reliance smart, Balasore was completely unethical and contrary to what we expect from a prestigious organisation like Reliance.

Im purchasing 2led bulb in jio mart online, but one bulb defective, so i want go to reliance smart for exchange the bulb but store manager say i couldnt not changing because you are purchasing online. Im sorry to say dont purchase online jiomart.

Lots of registers, but very few people manning them. Masks hang around chin for some employees. Even though they advertise about digital payments, they dont accept any. No social distancing whatsoever. The cashiers would even give you attitude if you complain why few registers are open. Goods and empty packets are strewn all over the floor leaving very less space to navigate between aisles. If you ask employees to clear them, they would look at you as if you are insulting them. The managers openly rebuke the employees. Talking about their system security would be a joke. They shout out passwords at each other, as if its their name. In short, total mismanagement and sometimes chaotic place.

Need improvement in bill counters.. but the mall is very good all types of products are available

If compared to place like balasore, Reliance smart is best place to shop with varieties of products and good discounts. Only issue is space inside store and product price information is not easily found. Rest full marks.

Employees and guards are quite unresponsive when asked something even as simple as where can I find a shopping trolley/cart?.

Present in the center of balasore near railway Station square. Thay are taking precautions on covid. Most food items/grocery available here. However i didnt get any support from staffs to find some products, all staffs are busy in jiomart orders packaging most of the time.Overall experience was comparatively good

2 storey departmental store which has grocery items as well as readymade shirt, pants and salwar suit. One may find grocery items at very cheap price. AC functions in summer season. Bonus is neat and clean washroom. Parking is additiinal charm. Overall a pleasant shopping 🛍️💸 experience.Con - sometimes very crowdes... A bit suffocating and very difficult to pay due to long queues.

Most important thing is here is all thing what you want on groceries

The first supermart in BALASORE. You will get everything you need for you home and kitchen. They have 2 floor based mart. It has vegetables, grocery, personal care, house hold and many more. They accept all modes payment which includes credit card, debit card, cash and sodexo.I went there for many times for grocery shopping. I am thankful to them as they opened a supermarket which helps people a lot.

Home delivery is a fraud. they make a bill of all the time but have not delivered the item. the amount was also not refunded. The delivery boy didnt even gave the bill.
