Great place for a family visit and the best time to do it is August when the water level is highest. Good experience and very nice people working in the dam. Hospitable.

Simply huge.. according to my information its one of the top 4 biggest dams of india generally when they shoot the extra water when its full the traffic got a bit disturb but it turns into a picnic spot.

The Rajghat Dam is an inter-state dam project of the governments of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh under construction on the Betwa River about 14 km from Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh and 22 km from Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh]. Its really a great place ! I have been three times and still would love to go! The place is so peacefull, all the thoughts which come are positive.

It is a huge dam situated in rajghat district.Its use for irrigation purpose. Its also a pick-nick spot.

Best ever experience of any dam.Every part of machinery used in this dam is #made in INDIA. The engineers here are very humble and cooperative. They will give you a very informative tour of the dam. And its really beautiful dam inside and out. If you are in chanderi region of M.P. and want to visit a really good dam with knowledge I really recommend it. Built on Betwa river. Good spot for an occassional picnic. Views during monsoon season are beautiful. Dam is surrounded by lush green forest, well maintained guest house and gardens
