Best glasses I bought online. Great customer service

I always buy my glasses from frames direct.

Took what seemed like forever but great customer service, and he loves the glasses.

We had an awesome experience with Frames Direct. Quality of the product was excellent and customer service second to none. The follow-up phone call to see that all was well shows class. Highly recommend Framed Direct.

FramesDirect sell substandard glasses and when they fail, will not stand behind its warranty. I purchased a pair of Rx bifocals from them. Less than three months later the lenses developed myriad scratches. I have had other glasses older than these in the same frame that have not had this occur. When I brought them to my optician, he remarked of the poor lens quality.Additionally, the frames broke in two places. This may have been due to the fact that sunglasses frames were used instead of the proper rx frames. I had to glue the frame to keep the lens in until I could get another pair. When I returned the glasses as they were under warranty I was curtly informed that I voided the warranty by using glue to keep the lens in so I could see. How foolish of me. This enormous error on my behalf has apparently alleviated all responsibility for poor and incorrect workmanship. Congratulations FramesDirect for not standing behind your product.

My experience with FramesDirect was excellent! Their customer service was kind, professional, and very efficient! They also carried the very specific pair of glasses that I had been searching for forever! I love my new glasses and will most definitely being shopping with them again!

I had been ordering from them for a few years without issue. This last order was a complete nightmare! Paid $21 to UPS the 1lb return back. Spent $400 doesnt get you free shipping back. Upon them receiving my return was told 2-5 days Id be contacted about refund. Of course. Yet another follow-up to customer service because they didnt bother to respond. They moved it along but still no refund to my card yet. Then theyll take even more of your money from your return. $130 subtracted on my order. First few interactions with customer service were awful like I was bothering them. Thank you for a valuable lesson learned. Horrible online shopping site that lost my business for good.

Quick and easy ordering of replacement frames for existing prescription lenses. Saved me hundreds on having to order a whole new pair with my current prescription, after the original frame broke.

I have purchased glasses from FramesDirect three times. One thing I like about FramesDirect comparing to Eyeconic is its rich selection of frames.I think thats the reason I choose to use FramesDirect even though Eyeconic has a more convenient way of applying vision insurance benefit.

I strongly urge anyone reading this to think twice before purchasing any glasses from this company. Twice I bought non-prescription glasses without issue, other than the excessive delays. They pretty much say anything you order is on backorder. However, when I purchased my third pair ($300 Persol sunglasses), the glasses I received were visibly used. There were filthy fingerprints all over them, a loose bridge, old hardware. It looked like they had been cobbled together with parts that were laying around or something I would have purchased off Ebay for $50. They did not offer a refund or the option to replace them with actual new sunglasses, which is what I ordered. This company pulled a bait and switch and then stopped responding to my messages, leaving me out $300 and with old, used sunglasses. They are the absolute worst and I would give them zero stars if I could. Buyer beware!

Buying designer frames from the web can be quite scary with everyone being scammed. I can attest that my frames from Frames Direct were authentic Gucci frames and they came before the delivery date! I also received an email from the customer service team following up on my experience. It’s rare you find good customer service nowadays. I will be purchasing from here again!

I had an older friend who operated his own optical shop locally. I always bought my old-style wire-rim glasses with cable temples from him until his passing a few years ago.I began a search for an optician who had access to this same type of glasses frame with no success until I discovered FramesDirect.com.They stock the Shuron Ronstrong wire rim frames with cable temples!.I downloaded the necessary information and with the assistance of a local optician, I was able to order two sets of frames at an extremely reasonable price.My local optician then prepared progressive bifocal lenses for me which fit the Shuron frames.I am very pleased with the results!

I have ordered twice from FramesDirect now with very mixed results. My first order was for frames and lenses together. I wear progressive lenses and after two chances they were unable to get them correct and I ended up taking a loss on the total transaction. I am sure they probably do fine on single and bifocal but not so on progressives. My second order was strictly for frames so kind of hard to screw that up!

My daughter needed new frames but didnt like what the optometrists office had. We looked online at multiple retailers but ultimately went with framesdirect because of the selection, prices, shipping, and free returns. We purchased 2 frames. Shipping was extremely fast and the return process couldnt have been easier (you do have to pay for return shipping which hopefully they can partner with someone in the future to reduce that cost). The second pair was perfect and my daughter loves them. They were packaged extremely well and included the case and cleaning cloth. I submitted my out of network claim to insurance and my total out of pocket will be about the same as in office but with a much bigger selection. The customer service is extremely fast too. Highly recommend.!

Frames Direct is the only place I can find Art-built frames that have the ear loops! Love this place! Be sure to size your frames with the handy instructions, no need for frames that are too small.

Never will I order from this place again. Not only is the customer service horrible but a prescription pair of glass that cost over $400 were put on delay because of a back order I knew nothing about. if you really need glasses do not order from here because you will be waiting a long time and they will do nothing to help you.

THESE FOLKS TAKE A MIN OF 30 DAYS TO GET YOUR MERCHANDISE TO YOU, AND IN MY CASE, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A COPY OF MY PRESCIPTION , THEY STILL MANAGED TO COMPLETELY SCREW IT UP. Product and shopping experience was great. It would have been awesome if I could have integrated my VSP insurance at time of purchase, but submission after purchase is fine. The overview on finding correct fit was a huge help and using this same knowledge to make better purchasing decisions on sunglass frames when purchasing online.

Frustrating customer service. Turned a small issue into a lost sale.

I first ordered eyeglasses from FramesDirect in late 2016. The lenses didn’t start to yellow/brown until after 2 years which is normal. I have a strong prescription and have noticed that FramesDirect has a difficult time making Hi Index (1.74) lenses. Twice in the past they contacted me to tell me they could only do the much thicker 1.67. In August 2020 I was emailed the notice as if I’m supposed to just accept it. I replied to cancel the order which I think upset them because they didn’t respond to me until a few days later. Customer service could be improved. The wait time is often around 21+ days. I recently placed a new order with different frames so I’m hoping they can do the 1.74 as I selected.
