I really liked the service here. I just moved here and needed a new optometrist. The optometrist is very knowledgeable and walks you through each step of the eye exam.

Dr. Tran and staff very kind, knowledgeable and efficient! First time in, came in on my lunch break, whole visit around 45min max. Didn’t know my eyes could use an upgrade, Dr. Tran helped me narrow down the “just right” prescription. Very grateful 🙏🏽!

Dr Trinh was very nice and helpful. He explained all the answers to my questions and ensured I was comfortable with my prescription. So happy to find someone to take care of my eyes. They have a small section of eyeglasses and sunglasses, but I still found many fashionable choices! I loved the pair I found. Will definitely keep coming back each year.

Terribly rude and unknowledgeable staff. Take your business somewhere they value theyre customers.

Ive been going here for a while, I am usually happy with the service. Their website indicates you can scheudle online, i did... never got a call to confirm the appt, when I called in to check on my appt, I was told their online system doesnt link with the office system.... THEN WHY IS THIS AN OPTION?

The staff is very helpful and professional. They do a fantastic job of follow up. The Dr is very helpful and informative and they do try to help you save money wherever possible. I have definitely found my Optometry!

If I can give it less stars I would. The optometrist here is condescending and rude. Its like being scolded as a child. I would suggest going somewhere else.

Absolutely NOT recommended. Avoid a bad time/service and take your business somewhere else. These people offer you one thing and then do their best to keep you confused about what you paid for and are actually getting.

This place not only charged me triple amount over the frames actual worth, it wasnt even my script they put in the frames. My script and the frames script DO NOT MATCH. I tried explaining the blurred vision I instantly got after putting them on but was assured a little blurry is perfectly normal right at first,right, yet when I called 3 days later expressing concern that my clarity had had no improvements whatsoever and that i wanted to bring them back in so someone could just double check make sure they were what they were suppose to be but was immediately and aggressively shot down and told there will be no returns or exchanges on clearance purchases . This practice is breaking the law and committing serious fraud with medicaid insured patients. They have been reported.

Nice folks, great doctor, got me in and out in 40 minutes, glasses arrived a week from my initial appointment.

Wished I read the reviews before coming here. Staff are rude, and its been over two weeks, and I havent recieved my glasses.

Im a new patient here. The staff was very polite and professional. Dr. Trinh is a very warm and welcoming person! He is very informative about different options for contacts and glasses and I appreciate his thorough explanation on EVERYTHING! I would highly recommend this place!

The place smells so bad, which is so odd but, the doctor I saw was very nice. The whole place was little to unprofessional and they do not answer the phones for the life of them.

I have been waiting for over 3 weeks for my contacts prescription. They said its coming from out of the country and has to pass all the checks and stuff I get that..but why did you order from out of the country when my prescription can be met within this country!!! Oh I guess its cheaper for YOU and more for me as a customer if I would have been told that it would take this long I would have taken my prescription elsewhere. I am not taking my future business elsewhere.

This was my first time at this place and I did not enjoy it at all. The doctor was very condescending about everything. Among other things, when I told him I would prefer to stick to the one month contacts (which I have been on for years) instead of the daily ones he told me Well, I guess youll be coming in later for eye problems then.

Awful experience at this store because they have nasty & impolite attitude to the all customers.Rude, Impolite and physical gazing over 2-3 minutes including hung up the phone during asking the address to get the store.Please don’t go this place to get the eye proscriptions. They will charge over more than any other stores. Even $10 copay but this store will charge over 5 times more expensive than any other stores. services. threatened customers to take the other tests even not necessarily . For example, healthy my 8 years old girl forced to take test “ Glucoma test” even my child was not fully growing up yet and no any other symptoms.Anyway they will charge more than any other stores in Austin with bad attitudes& impolite customers cares and awful services.

If I could I would give this place a 1/2 star.1. The doctor would explain something in a metaphor, then he would explain the same thing 4 other ways!! He scared my daughter telling her she had a 50/50 chance of getting lazy eye and proceeded to tell her this for 5 min! He is extremely condensing and rude!!2. One staff member had to leave to go ask the doctor for every little thing. She couldnt do anything!$65 down the drain!

Ive avoided getting my eyes checked since going here last year. As others said, REALLY poor customer service: waits even with an appt & staff didnt seem to know how to do much (except eat lunch & share cell phone pics). The doctor was dismissive - said I didnt need glasses then clarified when I showed my current pair that such a low strength isnt really needed(??). They grossly undershot my frame allowance resulting in a clearance pair with a very loose arm they promised to fix. After 2 brief wears the whole arm was hanging off, but no exchanges on clearance! I recommend going somewhere else.

WORST PLACE EVER. AVOID COMING HERE. they are very rude. One doctor practically yelled at my sister because the light was bothering her eye, and the ladys in the front also were very rude.

This place will try everything to scam your insurance. Should have read the reviews.

Pros --friendly, accommodating staff (They were even polite to the crazy guy who wandered in off the street and asked about glasses.)- diverse, multi-lingual staff (I heard English, Spanish, and Vietnamese in 30 minutes both in person and on the phone) - awesome- thorough, knowledgeable optometrist who was friendly and considerateCons -- the office was a little dirty (floors and walls, looked like it needed a thorough cleaning)- my glasses took 13 days to arrive, but were supposed to arrive in 7-10 (although, I dont know whether the office staff have any control over this)

Ive been going to this clinic a couple of years and everytime I go it just keeps getting worse. I received a call on Tuesday that my new glasses had come in. I went in today in the morning to pick them up only to be informed that they werent ready and I had to wait half an hour. Since I had work soon I had to leave and come back later. I came back around 5 and my glasses were finally ready, but they were dirty. This kind of thing happens all the time and Ill probably be looking for a new optometry to go to. The only reason I give this place 2 stars is that at least my experience with the doctor has been good but between the incompetent and rude staff, I dont think its worth staying.

The doctor was very rude and scared my son about eye problems that he doesn’t have. He also seemed to think I wanted to hear his opinion on his patients on “public assistance”. I didn’t.I should have known better than to bring my daughter there after the first experience, but We went back and after they tried to change the price of her contacts we just walked out. They are all rude.

I had to wait nearly two weeks for them to see me and when I got there other customers were openly complaining about the service.The associates were rude and lacked any sort of empathy and I was told I would be waiting 5-10 business days for a pair of glasses. I called within that time frame and was informed that I would have to wait another two weeks.If you like rude associates and wait times, please, go to this location.

I like the place very convenient although the frames and trasition are abit expensive(like everything else) but otherwise I’d recommend this place

Clear Vision Optical had bad communication and a lot of things... Ex. I had to make a new glasses and i come to this placed to make glasses and they said 2 week later they will ready for my new glsses. I wait 3 week later and still not received it. Long story..... But I dishlike this place...

I took my mother in law for a new prescription, and we’ve been going her for a couple years. Today was the worst experience yet with “Dr.” Steven Tran. He was extremely rude, and had no patience toward my 64 year old mother in law. He threatened to give her the wrong prescription if she didn’t read the letters.

The most awful experience Ive ever had in my life. Doctor Kim Trinh treats the patients very badly and disrespectfully, he was so rude to me. I shouldve seen the reviews before scheduling the appointment.

I showed up for my eye exam this morning after receiving about a half dozen email reminders and the first thing that happened was they made me fill out the new patient forms even though I was returning. Then, instead of asking for my $10 eye exam copay, they asked me to pay an additional $20 for a photographic test. I said no. Then they asked for my medical insurance card and an additional $20 copay just in case it became a medical visit. What! This is tantamount to bait and switch, trying to turn my routine eye exam from a $10 to a $50 visit. I walked and wont be going back.

Bad service and over priced. Cant even read a prescription. I had two necessary add on features that were completely ignored.

All staffs attitude was so rude! I got a bad experience with this store to get eye prescriptions. I wouldn’t go back to this store again next time. Expensive!

I do not recommend going to this place, my son has been waiting for his glasses for more than a month, you talk and they give you pure excuses, I went to get my money back and they tell me to come later, my wife went and they told her that they had me sent a message to go the next day and that was not true, regrettable and terrible treatment of the employees,

I recommend that you do not go to this place the employees do not explain anything well and they tell you something and then it is something else I went for a vision check and they told me that I was wearing sunglasses only and after they gave them to me I looked blurred and They just made me the story that I had to make another appointment and I went to the appointment and that according to me I had a bad vision and that I needed to make another appointment for glaucoma but it was 90 dollars more so it will almost be 500 for some lenses that I can not use I have to use them for 2 weeks so that my eyes get used to seeing blurry
