We thoroughly enjoyed the set menu this evening. Set in a quaint and tasteful authentic setting, Pattaya Thai does a great job of bringing delicious Thai food to Auckland. The entrees and mains were very tasty and I appreciated that rice is included and provided when needed, rather than tiny little pots that other restaurants provide. The hostess was lovely, knowledgeable and had a wry sense of humor. Price-wise, at $29 for a full entree, main and dessert, we really felt like we were getting a good deal. Thanks guys!

I have had mixed experiences with takeaways from here, but tonights takeaway of Chicken Red Curry was particularly bad. Tasteless and watery.

Usually not big on Thai, but wife loves it. We went there after lockdown as a bid to support local business. Super friendly staff, turns out, I do like Thai. Just all the Thai places Ive been to in Auckland have just been boring in flavour. Pattaya by far the best Ive had. Very nice flavors, not to heavy on the stomach. We also ordered Pad Thai? Whatever its called to take away for lunch the next day and that too was bloody good. Certainly going there again.

Excellent food. Ice cream is different and delightful. Outstanding service and quality of food. This applies to take aways and eating at restaurant.

Weirdly sweet. Wouldnt buy again. Also thought the portion sizes were on the smaller side. Bought 3 x Pad Thai takeaway.

Last night I bought a Thai massaman curry takeaway and it would by far be the worst Thai dish that I have had after buying Thai food for many years! The beef was tough and served as large lumps of meat and the curry itself was so runny that they had wrapped glad wrap around the container. At a cost of $17.50, I will never return to this Restaurant.
