Aligarh exhibition is an annual event which , for which all the aligarians eagerly wait . People from different cities and towns came here to have fun and to do a lot of fun .

Exhibitions are held in many districts by the government. The Aligarh exhibition is very famous. The exhibition ground, there were jhoolas and other amuse­ments. There was a well of death. Also there are sweet shops, and arrangement of small hotels where we can eat food. At the end of each road, there was a semi-circular yard. It was surrounded by veran­dahs. In the verandahs there were fine things of art and uncommon things. Further its a good place for fun enjoyment. Must go whenever you Aligarh you get a Chance.

It is the biggest exhibition in UP. In earlier years the ground was neat and clean but this year experience was not good. It was so dirty all around . The numaish ground was over crowded but I have not seen the activity of administration there. Over all experience was good. We wait full year for this numaish.

Majaz, Shakeel Badayuni are some of the poets who have written about the Numaish.The fair continues to inspire poets and writers. Johny Foster, a music instructor in AMU wrote the ‘Aligarh Numaish Sadbhavana Geet’. The Aligarh Numaish Sadbhavana Geet has been adopted as Numaish tarana ,said Foster. This is perhaps a unique incidence when a Tarana has been written for an exhibition. In the Aligarh Numaish Sadbhavana Geet, Foster writes: “Aligarh ke logon jahan ko bata do, khuda hi mohabbat hain, aur mohabbat khuda hai.” He adds: “Aligarh should always show its Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb (communal harmony) and that is what my song reflects.”Food AttractionsHalwa Parathaa, Seekh Kababs, Chai, Special Chaat are great attractions in Numaish for foodies.I like special tea of numaish after Halwa Paratha.

Good to visit from last week of January to mid of February during the numaish time. During this time it becomes the centre of attraction for everyone. You cant stop yourself from visiting it. This place offers you many options to assume yourself like shopping, a range of street food, rides, and the most important night concerts.

Its usual like every year but this year they have one new jhula - Double Decker Swing. If some love to enjoy jhula then you should try it and I recommend try it without having food recently or at least with having less food recently.
