I would say the management is good compare to previous 10 years however Corruption is still present in the system of delivering driving license; The reason behind it is...There are multiple agents standing outside the Ahmedabad RTO gate who are offering the candidate to PASS four wheeler driving test exam prior to get in also at the time of exit they are asking that if you failed then we can help you :) to get PASS without exam.These should be stopped as without appearing for exam; One could be the reason for someone (Injured or Death)Also dont stop your vehicle outside the Ahmedabad RTO for any unknown. They can mislead you. So you can ask security person to guide you in case of need.

The services have very much improved with digital interface and organised physical attendance after prior appointment. I am holding a driving licence since 1979 and have spent entire day in renewal process 10 years ago. Now with new system and new process, it was so smooth without any hassles and was over within 10 minutes. My only request to the Government is to improve User Interface and User Experience by making portal user friendly

Very smooth work in this new RTO. Almost everything is done online. For Most of the service you don’t have to be there. Only some are required physical presence. This is very good. But unfortunately there’s no parking over there. There’s no other arrangements for parking. There’s 100% chances that your vehicle will get towed away by Subhash bridge team and those are terrible people with no sense

Always do work late....Many times They lost original file.Hierarchy system is too bad here.Always they keep pending tasks.1 employ perform his task, 2nd will not work until you go there and force him to do so. Then 3rd employee will not do his work until you go to him and force him.A HUB of Pending works at every seat.You can find many Agents to do all work.

The RTO office seems to be adequate but it is a mixed use building, quite cluttered

They dont give car driving slot only once a two month. They dont tell you reason of fail. They dont have standard track. Online website is very complex and not user friendly. Online process is very much offline. It took me a full day to get my turn for learner license test even though I had booked slot.

The service has improved after online application. Still there is lot of improvement scope observed as still there is long queue seen as timing slots are not been followed and lot of confusion is seen among staff and customers. Overall the improvement is seen and I hope this will help the customers reduce their pain of accessing the service in future.

The paints in track have faded in two wheeler track ..and car lane also not proper... because of that I failed also in driving test..very pathetic condition..

System upgrade by online but mentality of RTO officials is same, if u late for one minute he never return to you for inspection of Wehical for renual, again wait for 2 hours. Hats off.Kitalis is still there

After covid RTO experience was extremely fantastic. There was no agent no extra people in RTO premises. Over all performance has improved.

The system is not at all proper I have got my each and every document online registered still I have to pass through 3 rows to get it checked..... Is it really faceless? There is no one to explain about it one executive tells to go to the next counter and so on and your day just passes by wasting and loitering around the executives even if you have got all the documents.. There should some mechanism after uploading each and every document online and then you just need to get it approved from one authority and not 4 people just for the same thing which has already been done.. Make the process slower for the individual so that smooth functioning can carried out which is much needed in this time of COVID-19 and there is no room for social distancing and no masks or sanitisers are seen even the PRO at the front desk instead of providing guidance to people she is behaving very rudely and geaving answers which are not satisfying.

Plz plz if you are going with bike gear wali take bike which has mirror even single mirror is also allow and if you forgot then= there are 2 3 children who will ask you do you want bike and charge 200 per bike

Very bad vencher of government to no transferanc of work. Government tells all work is on line just. Fake .....

Things are very slow and IT cell is very weak. Sometimes responsible persons dont even know what they have to do. Filing and application process is easy though work is not upto the mark. I suggest to go through online as far as possible rather than offline.

Sarthi online system - Very GoodStaff behaviour - Not so gentle, little rough (though the people dont understand the polite language)Campus - No signboards or proper Information available at the campus so require to ask others every time.at the outside of the RTO gate, so many agents are available and may affect the genuine processes of the RTO.

Too slow work not proper staff who can give answers and mostly uncleaned no social distance at all. Even lifts are not working.

Ahmedabad RTO have made all applications on line but the problem is that web site does not work properly for days. You have no other options as physical applications are completely stoped. People not having computers and Sr. Citizens suffer the most.

Facilities at RTO are surprisingly good. Government facilities have certainly improved over a period of time. Due to Covid pandemic, they restrict the entry of people and manage the glow of traffic well here. Overall, facility is clean and well kept.

Well cleaned and maintained. System is good and social distancing is maintained. Four wheeler vehicle exam started so what late. Best thing is that parents or any other person are not allowed.

Security guards should guide old people (Senior citizens) how they can visit RTO new office at new building.And Some security guards and senior officers should allow senior citizens to access from their office to reach in new building.

Worst place to be visited in Ahmedabad for getting your license done. The staff here is not at all intrested in taking a little bit of effort to talk properly to the local public and guide and the officers here are just ready to shout at you and put you down instead of explaining the little things in the process. RTO track is worst .. that box parking in test drive is made to make people fail so they can get money as people will have to come again for the 2nd or 3rd trial. And also they have a validity of 6 months in learners driving license in which you will get appointment almost after 2 or 3 months ..so you cannot get all the 3 trials done in one learners license .. Poor RTO services and very bad staff .. I would not even give 1 star ..

Inappropriate DL testing is being done here, most of the systems are failed resulting into re-appearance of candidates multiple times. Very rude behaviour by RTO officials, a complete failure of governance system seen with corruption at RTO Ahmedabad.

LIARS!I came here to give MCWG & LMV test by taking online appointment and after months of wait and practice when I gave my MCWG test and my trial was a good one with no mistakes, nothing. Then they asked me to give the trial again, I dont know why and they still forced me to give another trial or else nothing would happen and I wont get my license. 3-4 other learner drivers who were behind me also questioned me for why am I asked to give test again. They even backed me on this with the authorities, but no one would listen. I had to give another trial, but in between, my bike came on reserve and it stopped and they failed me. I even then raised my voice the concerned authorities and I asked them to check the CCTV footage for my first round and reason why I was forced to give a second go. They kept me waiting and were straight away lying on my face that in my first round I had put my foot on ground which never happened. I again insisted to show me the footage as well and they refused and said wait for other appointment. BUT WHY? I passed the LMV test the same day but failed me in the 2 wheeler test - the one which I had more control on.Now I have to wait more just to get my MCWG license appointment!Thats just horrible. They know ways on how to make money.Update:- I requested Parivahan to check into my case through an email but no reply came. I had to apply for an another appointment which only had open slots in RTO Gandhinagar after payment of retest fees of ₹300. They were really calm and disciplined and I passed my MCWG Test but for this I had to travel 34 km (return included) on my bike.

Just make sure you have time, it took me 4 hours. Had to get an agent to help me. Place is the worst. No management at all. The web site says one thing and when you get here its changed. I was lucky, the asst inspector said did not have to go back in the que.The department is now on the main roadNext to Patanjali shop. You will need.1. Address proof, electric/gas/rental agreement and police verification.2. Your old licence.3. Upload to your application. Agent will do this.4. Pay the fee.You will get a TX saying your application is accepted and a TX for payment.5. Then get in line, verification.6. Then a digital photo taken.7. Then your directed to have it conformed another que.8. Youll get a TX saying application approved.Was to new license will be by post in within 10 days time.Hope this helps you all.

Very good response by RTO office

Very poor management, chaos every where, No one knows where to go for what, no proper instructions are placed anywhere. Everyone is asking each other about which counter to go. I would say the staff is good but the overall management is very very poor.Tips: you will find number written on wall, like Non Transfer 1 to 4999, this means if your vehicle numbers falls between this i.e 4252, you need to go to that counter and vice versa.

They took more time for clarifying our documents,But you have proper documents with Xerox copy, you can get work easily without hiring any agent.

HSRP Fitment review: Dont pay any agent for number plate fitment on entry of RTO. They are fully cheaters. They tell to pay 500 for urgent number plate even there are No lines or queue inside.Book slot after 2pm for easiness. Dont buy Number plate frame at 400 Rs(4 wheeler) n 150 Rs(two wheeler). They are cheaper in other accessories market.Go first to window 155> Give printed Appointment slip > Get number plate > Go to open ground besides building (fitment area on left side if building) > Pay 20 rs for removal of old plates > Fit new plate at zero cost. (I paid 10 rs for CHAA PAANI)

A very spacious place. Well arranged working. No public water facility I found. A very big and arranged parking space available. Staff tries to work as fast as possible and guide people their best.

It is undisputed facts that Gujarat Government has done lot specifically for Ahmedabad R.T.O and subsequently succeeded to proceed online, though the staff members of R.T.O are doing their work with boredom and dont interested to assist even old age person. I hope that every customer being Indian Citizen should be welcomed with great joy at RTO and there exit a special post for eligible educated person having special table with slogan what can I do for you, otherwise no purpose of online procedure would be served and Our RTO cannot be agent free.

No parking arrangements outside new RTO building. If you parked outside you have to find your vehicle at nearest police station.

Good, cooperative staff.Only hassle was to walk through stairs, to 2nd floor.Was line there and no social distance was followed.

Online appointment is just a formalities.. Inspector comes to ground for passing after 2 hours.. People with appointment of 10:30am were waiting for inspector till 12:30. If you go through agent you would have to suffer little low.. Even senior citizens are waiting in sunlight for 2 hours in 40` temperature. Agents are taking money at ground.

They have tried to improve but still its confusing where to go for what work. Parking isnt available outside and the officials inside are always in haste though its slack. They work as if they favor us. Everyone tries to blame others to save themselves. Here you feel exactly like any typical indian government office.As we all know, this review means nothing to them. Corrupted place, people who are working there asking money for your legal work. Today I went for fitted my HSRP number plate, there is clearly mentioned NO Give any money to personal who are working there. Still they were asking me 100 Rs. (I didnt give though). RTO should take strict action against those fitter persons.

Nobody, including the traffic officials at RTO are interested to guide you through the right way.Everyone are like hyenas and vultures waiting to scavenge you up to your bones.One simple requirement of a driving licence is made so confusing and complicated. Even the people at WIAA are the same.Pathetic service.I have returned home totally disappointed and hopelessness prevails.

RTO - get your drivers license and online exam over here. This place conducts the practical exam for these three type of vehicles: Activa/Motorcycles, Auto-rickshaws and Cars.

Not maintaining social distance.highly risky place to spread corona.not proper sytem of document passing one table to another.it takes so much time for a visitor.it will takes around one full day to fiNish your work.needs to improve at all level.thaNks

Very simple process for Learning license renewal printing took just 20 min. On 30 min all process completed. Kudos to RTO Ahmedabad.
