Property not well maintainedFeeling like ordinary hotels.Simply dishonest to Ginger and TATA

Here I am giving my honest opinion about hotel ginger s g road. I have visited this hotel for family leisure trip in Ahmedabad as my friend suggested me. As I entered in hotel front desk staff has given very warm welcome, check in process was super fast , within 5 minutes we were in our room.room was very specious ,clean n interior was very amazing.ws have taken suite room n it was fantastic.hotel food was very yummy n above all hospitality was too good. Thank you ginger for making our stay memorable ,we will definitely come again when we will come Ahmedabad

Bedsheet pillow cover blanket cover sofa and curtains are tooo much dirty not washed since years ago

Nice and affordable hotel and easy to locate. location of the hotel is peaceful. basic amenities they provide food is not good.overall is ok. experience you can book if you want affordable rates with a good chain of hotel.

Ginger Ahmedabad is most pathetic place to stay. Washroom is in horrible condition, Toilet seats are freely dancing, all taps are super dirty, The tea cattle provided was so dirty and stinking. Totally UNHYGIENIC. NOT SAFE TO STAY.

I have visited hotel ginger SG highway road for company work purpose. I am very much impressed by their hospitality and staffs behaviour. All people including Front desk , housekeeping were pretty and good.delicious of food is available in hotel.I strongly recommand ginger hotel for feel good staying . Very poor service, very irresponsible staff, no care for customers. They (staff) dont care for TATA BRAND. Very poor state of building and other furniture or interior.Actually this hotel is made for TCS staff only. Hence they dont care for other customers.Please improve service or stop taking outside customers. And particularly stop spoiling image of TATA BRAND.

The room is awesome and very good. However the food service is outsourced hence not very appealing. The complementary breakfast doesnt have eggs or nonveg option. However you can order food from Zomato and Swiggy. Early checkin is a great option and they dont charge you extra. It is located in a posh location. I had a great time. 👍

I am a regular customer as I have visited more than 15times to this hotel..I dont know why but I just like this place but this time it was disappointed because of the hotel rule. I just asked for a free check-in from the regular check in time as I had travelled and came early but they didnt even consider one hour they have asked me to pay extra charge..so what is the benefit after visiting many times to the same hotel...

The hotel is decent but needs improvement by a lot. The rooms although spacious but lacked cleanliness and were smelley. The airconditioner was not even working although the weather was bit cold so I didnt find a need of it. The food was terrible and really over priced. They washroom had flush issues and shower too wasnt working properly. Washroom, Rooms were nor clean, food was disaster.

The service provided at this Covid-19 pandemic situation was very good. Staff hospitality services were very good. They treated us very well and respectfully. Also the delicious food made our holiday even more enjoyableThe environment is very beautiful and pleasant. Highly Recommend to all. We will be back soon. Hello Gauri Ji,It was my decision to opt for a stay there in my most critical time. We all were not well but moving there for few days was a wise call. Moreover the personal attention which you had shown for kids and their food is one thing which we will never let go from our minds. Thank you specially to YOU and YOUR MOM. Pathetic service and worst food.I have used this hotel for covid isolation.I must say instead of providing good facility to covid patient only motive is to make money by providing worst quality food and service.Even service staff is very poor.they provide worst quality food with such a rude attitude that you will feel like a beggar.If your health is good/stable and if you take their food that will make your health worse.owner is so rude not having sense how to talk to people.Such a poor and pathetic service by ginger a well known tata brand.

Not original Ginger... Cheating customers in the name of Ginger. Bathrooms are dirty, staff is arrogant, no service, have to ask repeatedly for things. Dont go, dont waste money.

Nice location , calm place and proper spacious parking. Staff is very cooperative and friendly. Construction is little old but they have advanced key card locks. 4 floors and probably have 50 or so rooms with hall and buffet area for breakfast. Waiting area at reception is spacious. They also allow for early checkin which is good if you are travelling from a long distance. Breafast choices are limited due to covid but taste is upto the mark.

Nice 3 Star Hotel. Clean and good atmosphere with good staff. Parking is available. Rooms are bigger enough. Bathroom is also clean with 24 hours hot and cold water.

Rooms were quite nice according to the price i paid, room service was fast enough but there door locks are preety bad in condition. You need to check them first before staying.Room are spacious enough for 3 people.

It has been converted into Covid-19 quarantine facilities recently.

The room is neat and spacious. Washroom is also good and clean.Staff service is good. All the services personnel are polite, courteous and eager to serve. So five star for service Crew.Complimentary breakfast is limited in its menu but eatable and prompt service make it all good. So, four star for breakfast.The issues with this property are very basic. The liners are very old. Bed sheet is with bubbles and we have trouble sleeping on it unless we have our own bedsheet. Towels are too old and the first on it has hardened. There are no spoons in the room to mix the cup of tea. There is no catalogue for romm service numbers in the room. Also car parking is not operational. I had to park my car on the adjacent road.So, the 3 stars are due to these issues.

Remember this name as this is best hotel in Ahmedabad! Prices are excellent, I have stayed with my friend for a weekend and honestly I am so happy we found this place. I will start from check in- machine in the lobby gave us our room keys!!! all with help of very nice, friendly and professional manager BRAJAN who have great as at the entrance. We felt special from the beginning to the end. Beautiful lobby with coffee and tea machine and computer with printers - all free to use for guests- surly can make you feel like you home. The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! and OMG love they pillows!!!:))) bathroom with shower very clean. Reception was very helpful in directing us , . After we came back - we found out that on every floor there are water stations with bottles so you can take them to the room! also guest request lockers - if we run out of tea, coffee of milk in the room! Its really like they thought of everything to please your stay! We tried food room service as well and in 20 min was delivered to our room! so happy with our stay that acually was sad to leave! Ismail who checked us out was verry sweet and friendly

Very pathetic service and higher irresponsible behaviour right from the level of owner. Iski daal roti chal rahi hai Covid hotel ki wajah se, else nobody would even look at them. Arrogance at very high level from staff as well as from owner. Better stay at home than in this stupid hotel.

Ginger is a good set up, standardized over all properties I have stayed, viz Gueahati, Bangalory (White Stone), Ahmedaba (S. G. Road), etc.Clean, comfortable, friendly.Good service.Food choice is reasonable, prepared in an hygienic and professional manner. Good healthy breakfast which is important especially for business travellers.excellent experience overall.Nothing worth mentioning.

Good property near SG Road

I was quarantined in Ginger for 14 days. A big thank you to the staff who always checked in on me and ensured I had a comfortable stay. I was also given a surprise cake on my birthday :) Would definitely recommend , a very special thanks to miss Khalsa who insure for everything which was needed during my stay .

Real great hotel to stay and near to main road of ahmedabad, SG highway. Everything is nearby...You can explore beauty of SG highway and pakwan four cross which is very near by. You can go by walk also.Beside this hotel you will find one of the beat Ahmedabad gujarati thali restaurant. So no problem for food.

Nice location. Peaceful and quiet. Very cooperative staff. But not well managed you have to remind operator and staff for regular room service and water bottle.Room rate are better as compared to other hotel. I have been assigned two rooms which were not cleaned .. third room that they have assigned was okay for that price.Overall stay was okay. Hotel have connected restuarant behind front desk operator counter.

The rooms are spacious but they need some maintenance... food is ok.. the location of the hotel is good as its on S G Highwayservice is not that great... when asked for the menu for room service... the guy got the menu and said that he cant leave the menu as its from the restaurant... i told him that i will look at the menu and then order in some time... but he insisited in not a good manner that i need to place the order that time only and return the menu... i was on a call and told him that i will order later only and he can take the menu when he gets the dinner...when i asked for the newspaper in the morning... i was rudely told that newspaper is not provided in the rooms as other guests are reading it...

Good place to visit with friends. Mostly crowded die to its well known service and quality as well as envirement they have created within is too good. The quality of food they serve is also awesome and if you want to spare good time with good people than it may be the best place for you.

Service is slow but the taste of food was amazing !!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days 2 nights Window Pane had a broken lock. The receptionist insisted on updating the room key even though it was functional and made it functionless after the software update, thereby rendering the key given to me useless and I had to request the housekeeping guys to let me use their keys for opening the door. Even after informing the receptionist of the key which became useless after his software update, he said a solution is possible only on the next day. Complimentary breakfast was not at all tasty, however the paid meals i.e. lunch and dinner were tasty however very costly for instance a veg grilled sandwich costed Rs. 250 and a coffee costed Rs. 150.

Me and my mom went for hotel quarantine post covid with Ginger SG road. Room size was good enough. Hotel staff was also quite cooperative even in these pandemic situation. Decent and quality food at affordable room rate. The owner, Ms. Gauri is very much supportive.

Ginger needs to buck up! Seriously man! In the name of low-cost, you cant get away with poor service. Even Oyo Rooms are low cost, but most Oyo hotels have a strong service mindset inspite of their limitations. Ive had owners of Oyo properties rushing to pick my bags! But with Ginger, its a completely different story! Such lousy service and such lousy justifications for every deficiency! Why would the Tatas retain such a poor brand! Who knows!

Amazing hospitality ..... Had a amazing stay for 14 days .... The staff was very cooperative and always available when called .... The food stuff had great options .... The owner Gauri Khalsa was quite helpful ...... She provided all that I wanted and helped in every manner she could .... I saw one of the negative reviews from Saumya Sarkar but i think its against the hotels policies to let anyone stay without payment.... Great rooms .... Enjoyed my stay a lot...... Very thankful to the staff as well as the owner.....

It was my helplessness To be there, otherwise vi would i hv left the very next day. The Owner is very arrogant and takes advantage of guests helpless situation. The house keeping staff never knew thy were entering Covid positive patients room nd thy moved around with out mask nd gloves.the cleaning was also not done properly nd the food u ask for excluding ur package though was chargeable but not proper in ingredients or taste.And when i completed my stay of a week wen i was asked to gv feedback. Ms.Khalsa could not accept the feedback nd arrogantly strtd arguing.I opted for Hotel considering the brand name Ginger.....but sorry to say not ever satisfactory.

Worst chekc in I have ever had. Girl at the desk was so rude and didnt let us in because my mom did not have her ID but me and my brother had. U know Indian parents they dont even know thier birthdate, so I had her ID in my phone luckily which took hours for her to process. Washroom was so smelly.. Couldnt sleep the whole night. I do not recommend this hotel.

I visited here with my family assuming that this is the Hotel Ginger. But I felt cheated when I came to know that it has nothing like the original Hotel Ginger.
