It really is a nice place! Snowy Lake Sevan is nice, we dont have snow in our country so seeing snow and mountain with a snow on it totally awesome! Its also nice to see a thousand year old church

A truly impressive and beautiful lake which the Soviets did their best to destroy by sucking so much irrigation water out from it and then building ugly industrial towns around its shore.One night isnt long enough to appreciate its charms, but I wasnt compelled to stay longer.

So beautiful and shining place! Unbelievable nature and man-made miracle. So much flowers. Oldest Christian Temple I ever seen. Antic market very good. So taysty!

It is a peaceful fantastic place and even if in winter you travel there, you can meet immigrating birds like seagals, ducks... share with you their hundreds of kilometers experience. If listen to whisper of wind you will know more about lake.

Sevan is always great, in all the seasons it has its own beauty. Just mind to take warm clothes, cause even in summer in the morning and in the evening its cold a bit.

Nice place, but water in the lake is not so clear. It is full of cyanobacteria / green flower. Not suitable for swimming. 11.7.2019.

Sevan National Park, is one of the 4 protected national parks of the Republic of Armenia, founded in 1978 to protect Lake Sevan and the surrounding areas.It is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Nature Protection and includes a research center, which monitors the ecosystems, and undertakes various conservation measures. Licensed fishing on the lake is also regulated.

If you want to have sum BBQ at the beach, swim, ride a acouter and listen loud music you may like the western beachs near village Sevan, if you want more youth chilling place to swim have some drink and fish in wooden beach cafe or you want to have some windersfing or board riding or scouter riding experience you may like the beachs in east near Shorhza.. For people from abroad I personally recomend the last one.. esspecially beach named WishUp.. Sometimes there are partys in evenings there where a lot of youth gather and most of those are tourists here.
