Amazing view of the lake and mountains!This place is definitely worth visiting. To reach the lake you need to go through National park - calm forest with wild nature. On your way you can buy fresh berries and honey - which is extra delight)I recommend this place to visit, when you’re in Montenegro

Just keep walking on the red trail.. Start from 9am. end up nearly 4 pm. View was nice, summer time also not too hot, nice trekking, easy walk not much people by the time we visited, 3 Euro for the park entrance worth it!

Very beautiful and big national park! A lot to do.We did a 13km hike to Crvena Greda clockwise. The first half was a very intens climb, but as soon as youre on top it is breathtaking. The second half is easy, since its almost all downhill. We did it on sneakers, and it was doable. But I do recommend hiking boots and maybe hiking sticks. Sometimes the marks, to follow the route, were missing so this made the final climb a bit challenging. Our moving time was around 4-5 hours. So take more time if you would like to rest some (which you will probably do when your going uphill). We used the GPS with the app Komoot. This hike was a loop.Also we did the 85 km auto loop with free audio tour in English. Not sure what the name was, but I figure you can find it with Google. Also very recommended! Takes about 4-5 hours.You can do even more like Hiking, rafting, mountainbiken, enjoy nature, canyoning, jeep tour, car. I really recommend it to see Durmitor. Also a really clean park with little litter.

One of the highlights in our Balkan trip visiting five countries. While I found the coastal city of Budva overratd, to me the real highlight in Montenegro was visiting Europes deepest canyon. We stayed in the home of a family in Zabljak, where we immediately noticed the very fresh air standing in stark contrast to the strongly polluted places we had visited previously. One of our favorite moments was to zipline over the canyon while enjoying the very colorful landcapes, where the green of fields looked greener and the blue of water more blue to me than I usually get to see.

DURMITOR is nice, cleaner than in other parts of Montenegro.

Extremely nice place. Organized and ordered but just a bit, to boot interfere with nature.I would recommend to spend there whole day if you are visiting for the first time and like nature hiking. Trip around the lake would be really nice idea with planty of food views

Black Lake was an easy stroll with beautiful views of Bobotov Kuk in the background. The neighboring Snake Lake is a nice add on to this for a light hiking adventure. Overall the views on any trail here are worth a visit for 3€!

It is easy to hike around the lake, magnificient scenery along the way. The park is clean. However there should be directions in english.

The park itself is amazing, it has wonderful views that youll never see in any other place.Amazing lakes, not too difficult trails, but amazing views. Personally me I liked the Black Lake the most.But, if youre going with a family to Via Ferrata, I dont really recommend, because its too difficult for the ages 4-16.I hope to come back here one day ☺️😊

Beautiful wild nature. It is very obvious that the terrain was formed by tremendous tectonic action. Very dramatic landscape. My feeling was that I was somewhere far from Europe. The atmosphere is unique - very far from civilization. I recommended it for motorcycle or bike ride. It is possible to buy local home made food like milk, cheese or oil. The pavement of the road is about 3 meters wide but with good quality asphalt. During the winter months the road is not available. There are some small glacial lakes. Nice photos can be made from the road. There are almost no services on the road so be prepared to rely on your own.

This is a World’s natural wonder in the mountains of Montenegro.. Great for hikers and very well marked routes. The views are espectacular. I Recommend the hikes to any of the peaks.

Beautifull and enormus montain. Everything is in one place, hotels, private apartment, museum, lakes, mountain trails and tops over 2000 mnv. When you come first time, you wiill returning on the face of the place very often. Still you can see campers in the middle of mountain. Wild animals, if get luck. Weather is often change. During one day it can be rainy, sunny, foggy. . But that is a beautifull of wild nature!!!

Amazing, untouched nature kept our eyes wide open! Hiking routes are very properly marked with a lots of peaks and places to relax under the sun.

Stunning. We went to the big lake & walked around it. It takes about 2 hrs. So peaceful. Nothing on the lake whatsoever.... Most other tourist attractions world be stuffed with boat trips, kayaks & the like...here there is nothing and makes it that much more beautiful.

Absolutely a must go Panoramic Road! One of the most beautiful places we have seen so far. Amazing view and it keeps on going and going.

You have to try this mega zip line! The crew was so easy to talk to and view from the top and over the canyon is stunning. Its a must try from me. 😊

Such a great time in the park!!! We did a hiking for 8.5h around the 4 lakes. omg it was one of the best I did! We walked next to sharp cliffs, we saw eternal snow, so many flowers, lakes of course. We went 2,400m high.

Incredible. I will come here again and again. No tourists. This place open for visit only from May till October.

Beautiful scenery and landscapes. It is worth the drive and any hike you do. The staff in the cabin once you reach the park is not very helpful and English is enough to ask for questions. The guy refused to provide a paper map (maybe they dont have them, but didnt explain about it). Truth is that you can get one downtown if you walk in the tourist office. People in general is nice but there is no explanation whatsoever in regards prices and what they include. I am removing a star because the bar next to the lake is a bit disrespectful with the environment as they have loud music in the terrace, which is terrible for the animals and surroundings.You wont regret getting there!!

Amazing place. There are a lot of tracks to go to. You need to buy a map in Zablijak post office (5 Euros) and it shows all the trails in the area.The black lake is an easy travel option, and the mountains offer various tracking options.

This is a really wonderful place - beautiful views, and very peaceful - 3.08.2017 we have seen only 5 people on a path to the Planinica.I do not recommend to have any health problems - if you are far away from any civilization the rescue team will come to you - walking...

The black lake is wonderful, you definitely should go all the way around. Theres also a super nice point of view, least known, just follow the point of interest Curevac on Google Maps, its 7km north of Zabljak by car, then 30min easy hiking (might be a bit slippering if it rained)

A magnificent mountain and a lot of beautiful views accesible via the panoramic roads. Care must be taken driving around on the tight windy roads, rocks can be pretty hostile!We learned this by cut tyres and a hefty tow bill.

A completely amazing national park of surprising Montenegro! What a generous nature... Everywhere covered with different colours of greens,beautiful and clean rivers and lakes... Its mostly cool, i met snow when i visited there on first days of June! Being there feels like miracle!

Ice cave very cool, if you will go inside! Also path from cave to Bobotov-Kuk has a lot of nice view points. But be careful, path from Black lake to Ice cave very difficult, especially if you use maps.me and will choose short way .Way from Sedlo to Bobotov-Kuk the easiest. Recommend for girls and retired people)))) for strong man with steel balls recommend way from Black lake to Bobotov-Kuk through Ice cave!)))

A great park with lots of hiking and hidden beauty places

What a seriously beautiful little corner of a very beautiful country. It was cool at night when we were out in this section of Montenegro, but the days were warm.There were wild strawberries to be found if you know where to look. We found a patch near our little cabin, and couldn’t have been more pleased to pick a cup full to go with our breakfast in the mornings.Lots of hikes and trails to explore. Definitely need to spend more time here.

Amazing nature

Magnificent, breathtaking nature. The sky-high peaks of the Durmitor Massif, are in contrast with the stunningly deep Tara Canyon - extremely diverse landscape in the national park. Throughout the park you can encounter beautiful glacial lakes, enjoy!

Durmitor is amazing in its variety and scope. I would definitely recommended a jeep safari. Combined with rafting the Tara.

Durmitor NP is worthy! I recommend to start a hike from Piva Canyon (f.e village Trsa), this area is visited with less hikers.
