This place is simultaneously labeled as Maha Bawdi Pagoda and Bodh Gaya Kyaung on google maps. But no matter what name you call it, it is a tribute to its namesake pagoda in India. I liked it because it looks different from other pagodas in the city - as the fact that it resembled more of a Hindu temple is certainly attributed to the Indian influence. Theres not much to see on the inside, but it is a quiet place with a nice garden of sorts just in front of it. If the sights and sounds of Dagon Shopping Center 2 are too much to handle, its a short walk here to come and relax.

The pagoda has two names as Google Map but I love the situation of the temple design. This pagoda is totally different feom the other temple. It is look like a India style Temple has conix shape tower that is not tapers towards the sky and its similar to that of a small pyeaminds shape. It is a nice temple and love the architectural designs in Yangon. Worthy a visit.
