I was looking for a large black deep plastic container. Used by multi traders. This is not stocked by B&Q.I did see a clear plastic one. But it was damaged and split on the bottom. Its not my job to check stock. So I left with nothing
I am so impressed and grateful for the excellant service i received today at B&Q Lyons Farm.I went with my brother with a long list of different types/colours of paint, decorating equipmentand general products and little time.We were so pleased when Slav was on hand to assist us and also suggested that i apply for the Club Card in order to save money with the special deals on offer. When we approached the checkout areaOllie talked me through the process to access the Club Card and dealt with thePayment etc and i was very pleased with the total saved on my bill with this system.Thank you for a very good experience andfor saving me time and money.
Great service here. The lady at the till was good enough to let me know that I needed to put as many screws in the pick and mix bag to get good value.
The in store greeter was very pleasant and helpful.Went to gardening and served by Charlie most helpful nothing to much trouble pleasant experience.
Organized, well stocked and (everything I needed) good value. The best thing though was the staff. From the person on the hand sanitizer station at the entrance through the two staff who gave me directions to Jamie (sorry to admit the only name that stuck with me) on the checkout, all were polite, helpful and genuinely pleasant. I can only assume that this is generally a happy workplace.
Warehouse-styled shop with a range of products for home improvement.Though the aisles prove difficult to navigate, I’d you’re lost there is always a willing employee to help, which is reassuring. They unfortunately did not have the pressure washer I needed in stock, so I bought a mini-roller and nothing else. It’s worth noting that this branch comes with an open-plan garden section at the back.
Large store with a good range and knowledgeable staff
In the area of electrical material only presents the basic equipment. Something more specific doesnt
Well stocked. Got everything I was looking for
It can be hard to find what you are looking for and there never seems to be any staff around to ask for help. When you do get a member of staff, they are excellent at helping you find stuff and its well stocked
Great plants here today. Bedding plants were reduced to 50p. Real bargin
Thanks Dan for your help! Great service, nice and friendly as well
Overall choice is pretty good. Though I dont really understand the shop not being dog friendly. They were concerned my dog might poop on the floor. Yet currys with a carpeted floor and expensive digital equipment allowed me and my dog in, as do lots of cafes, restaurants as well as homebase.
Served by stan at customer services today and a lady who he seemed to be training up. I received great customer service, very friendly and professional-thanks
A good size store with extensive choice. Over the last couple of years (5 visits) we have found the staff to be professional, friendly and helpful, especially when we had to bring something back. A satisfied customer.
Got exactly what I needed staff was so hopefully
Bit crowded but great and friendly customer service
This place feels like my second home sometimes.Good store, good layout and great staff
Ordered a kitchen that they designed, delivery was due in 12 weeks, main base units not received with first delivery, chased for these and all I received was an e mail showing base unit order suddenly cancelled and a refund to be made back to my account. Not much use having drawers with no unit to put them in. Several visits required to get order sorted.
As ever B&Q provided exactly what I needed. They rarely let you down.
Very good and safety aware. Lacking in some stock products but helpful staff with sound advice on ordering items. Went early morning to avoid numbers.
Did a click and collect, nice and easy to do, product was waiting for me, getting out of the building was a maze as this was in lock down and so was one way in and out, got out in the end 😀
Never any issues. Always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand.
Great for those who love DIY.Got the paint i wanted, Dulux timeless vinyl Matt 🙂
Great experience buying some paint with excellent customer service and communication from Dan - really good experience.
Friendly staff on the checkout and had everything in stock that I wanted. All in all, difficult to fault as everything you could want.
Friendly staff, wide product range which youll get for less at other DIY shops.
Its B&Q. It seems the sort of things youd expect B&Q to sell.
Wide range of DIY. Some more expensive than competitors, but still great to go there.
So nice to have a happy smiling face as you enter the store.
So I purchased a £23 planter from here online. That went fine. Collected the next day, took it home and instantly noticed the wood was rotten in places. As I was desperate to get this planter built up as it was for a funeral arrangement I attempted to drill the holes necessary. The placement of some nails made this task almost impossible and after 45 minutes attempting to screw the screws into the holes I gave up and phoned the store. They said they would have somebody build it for me to collect. I dismantled the planter I had, bagged it up and made my way back to the store. Handed it over, received the new one expecting it to be fine. When I inspected it outside I noticed that not 1cm away from my finger, a screw was poking straight through the side. Luckily I noticed this before I injured myself. I didnt have the time to go back and complain again and wait for them to build another properly. So in conclusion, dont trust their flat pack goods, dodgy, and definitely do not trust them to build something for you!
Never had what thay said thy had, 18mm 2440 x1200 MDF
As diy stores go, this is a good one. Has everything you would need at modestly inflated prices. If you need it now, its ok.
Easy to find, large car park, good sized store with everything I could need....
Good service on my refund.
Love it , love it , love it ! Havent been for yonks and it felt wonderful to be able to browse without guilt and concern hanging over me. I also got to buy power tools so bonus.
Excellent as usual, got what I wanted at a reasonable price
Large store, plenty of parking, burger van nearby, very good.
They had just what I needed at a good price. There was a bit of a queue to pay but it moved quickly and I got through with little delay.
They have most DIY stuff if your in a pickle. Not for trades people.
Handy, but still annoyingly useless staff 🙃
Had all the items I needed for my d.i.y project.
Good DIY store, plenty of parking but stock levels can be low at times. Avoid when busy as car park can be a nightmare to get out of.
Very good thank u as always I all ways shop in your shop
Yes this is very good place to go to if you want to buy some plants paint wallpaper you can buy wood here its a good DIY shop
Unhelpful staff, thats if you can find one, and bargains harder to find.
Fine even with distancing. Good plants too.
Got what I needed frontend staff cheerful, helpful, and cleaned surfaces between each customer, bravo Worthing store.
Spacious with available staff on hand.Arrows marking the route to use.Well stocked and staff available to help you load your car.
Directed by staff to the wrong isle. Poorly stocked.
Considering what we are all going through , the guys are very helpful and im noticing the prices are cheaper then other murchants
Everything I needed, good prices friendly staff
Helpful staff are fully stocked with items pleasant and safe
Ok very large..plants not brilliant prefer homebase and its cheaper
Just a b&q. Didnt have stuff on the shelf that was showing in stock on the website.
Had everything I needed in stock! Awesome
Always a pain to pay .long queues as most of self service dont work.
Got what we needed, in and out no fuss.
Great bedding plants that are all doing really well
Poor signage re Covid queuing. long ques at the tills due to lack of staff. no que at click and collect though difficult to identify if and where you que as there is no clear separation between click and collect and 8n shop customers.
It has just what I needed and friendly staff.
Popped in to get some creosote alternative as had run out. Not very busy so quickly served. Surprised at gaps on shelves in places......
Helpful when I asked for things and goo measure of social distances in store
They need more staff at the weekends.
Good range of drain cleaning products
Well organised in covid 19, got paint all great.
We bought a terracotta drip tray, it was good. 5 star service cos they allowed us to pay for it. V handy.
Whatever you need for even the most outrageous of DIY plans you have in mind!
They didnt have everything we wanted but were extremely helpful in trying to fulfil our requirements
Missing some basic stock items and quite expensive. Checkout staff also tried to overcharge, but rectified promptly.
Able to get exactly what I wanted thanks to knowledgeable staff- brilliant
One of the better B&Qs. Well stocked, layed out, clean and tidy.
Very helpful knowledgeable staff. (quite a contrast to Shoreham!)
Staff helpful and smiley. hand sanitiser available. felt safe distancing well planned. happy to return. well done and thankyou to all staff. jane. chivers. worthing.
Hardware retail shop, decorating, building materials etc. Ample parking, great burger van!
We did get what we wanted but the queueing not so good.
I didnt go in, but it is a good place for diy and garden stuff
Very organized took a little while to get to the checkout
It,s b&q always shop around first. Garden bit is fair
Getting expensive. Will look elsewhere first in future. Very disappointing.
Not crowded, plenty of sanitizers, lots of staff on the sales floor, no que at the paint counter. Couldnt ask for better.
Busy but good covid protocols in place.
Its B&Q. I try not to go there as they come from Southampton, but they carry what I need.
Shop was OK however my requirements were not available had to go elsewhere
Veey long ques, why did they get rid of the self service tills?
Well organised and good range of products
All good got what I needed with the help of a worker.
Very helpful staff and had the things we needed
It is what it is! But good social distancing etc...
Great covid aware shop, social distancing etc and friendly staff.
Its a good store with everything you can want for you jobs around the house or for your business no self service till at the moment but has a que system so its fairly fast at checkout
Good selection with plenty of parking
Selling products with missing parts/damage. When they have things in stock. Bad customer service on top
One star is generous. As usual more staff chatting in groups than on the tills. Only 2 on tills today, very very badly managed
My wife bought some paint for the porch.
Had what I wanted as always
Great service the young lady in the Valspar paint dept was very helpful
