Always friendly as helpful. Still on the post covid reduced menu. Hopefully they old one will return with some of my favourites
Eagerly awaiting our first yo sushi dining in experience after a long time.Enjoyed using the app for ordering. Excited to see the oriental delights.Disappointed overall. No belt food to tempt us or explore our palettes. Red haired waiter was a bad representative for the company. Not professional. Slammed items next us in haste.May not venture out to them again.Β£45 later still hungry.
Fantastic, tasty food. Brilliant, easy and efficient non-contact ordering and payment system. Great fun watching your food and drinks come round on the conveyor belt, with a traffic light indicator to tell you when your order is on its way and the excitement of a green light when your items stop by your table for you to remove. Would highly recommend for a fun, healthy, tasty eating experience.
First time having sushi in a restaurant, food was good, portion size small. Members of staff were openly chatting to each other and avoiding eye contact. Once I managed to get noticed I had some great recommendations
I try to not give bad reviews but I am very disappointedYo was my regular I went last Monday eveningTo order my food i have to use online service while I was sitting in restaurant and I must pay service charge??? Really...Chef was very helpful about some missing dishes which I can happily understand shortages of supply ...I want to deal with a real person not an app
Soy sauce and wasabi not as standard now. Imagine an actual sushi place that doesnβt give you soy sauce when you order sushi. Whatβs the point
Terrible value for money and awful sushi. As someone who has enjoyed sushi far and wide from San Francisco, to Japanese friends, to London this is the biggest scam. The sushi is mainly rice, the prices are high and the cuts of fish are thin and poor quality. The fish is thinner than my chopsticks and the salmon in the salmon roll was not chosen properly as it has a connective tissue running all the way through making it chewy and unpleasant.Β£7.80 for a mini roll, literally the tiniest thing is a joke when it is made from minced tuna. You would be better off going to the fishmonger and making your own.
The food was really nice, but the waiter kept putting customers right next to us, despite there being empty places in the restaurant. Made us both very uncomfortable to be in the restaurant, especially during a pandemic. Couldve been 5* if it wasnt for this issue
Loved it. The new process of ordering by scanning the QR code is fab. Your light turns green when your food arrives in feont of you on the belt and stops until you have taken it off. Such a great way to make a change due to covid but still provide a great experience.
I am really disappointed with our meal and the service tonight. We had waited over 10 minutes to be seated, then told I couldnt order a drink until I had downloaded the app, then a service charge for what? Downloading the app for the food to be delivered on the conveyor belt. Will not be going again.
Very appealing experience on what is not a busy night.Child high chair was filthy, although cleaned before we had to ask - not a bad start.Got duped into paying for service charge before food (as is the design of the ordering method), regretting it throughout the meal, deserts came first, all my partners meals arrived and finished before my own. Drinks came after all food, despite asking during our meals, rejected the grit grimey glasses and drank from the can. Even then, the waters never did arrive.Unlimited miso soup? No chance. 2 times is not unlimited.Where has the service gone & where is the enjoyable experience that we know Yo! Sushi came from!?
Great food! Fun dining experience. Teriyaki beef and Korean Chicken were lush!
It was our first visit and it was pleasant enough but not great. We will stick to supporting the local business rather than a chain as the standard of food is much better.
Fast service and tasty food. However, the menu we ordered from didnt have as many options as the YO! Sushi website.
Great place, nice prices, but serverly lacking in non gluten options
Love it here! Planning to come back soon. Food is delicious!
Great service, friendly staff and food was good. Ive had better sushi elsewhere but the sushi here is good enough.
Not for people who knows what sushi means.Rolls from the fridge, cold as ice:(The rest are just frozen ready meals, just fried and served. Really?! For that price!PS: when kitchen is exposed to customers it should be cleaned from time to time.
First time for me on this visit however my friend and daughter had been before - the food was delicious and so were the choice of drinks xx staff were very friendly and Covid conscious
Will not be going back again!Server was great but food and tea....Green tea was white and tasteless and had a hair in it, to be told by manager (its how we make it) then dont advertise it as green tea!Sushi was almost thinner than the chopsticks, last time it was 3 times the size of it.Took 30 mins to get my ramen as it was going around the conveyor belt and would not stop!Portions sizes have gone down hill aswell.Got told everything would be refunded but then they only took about 35% off the bill. Was really looking forward to it when visiting Worcester but have been absolutely let down!
Lovely staff and really enjoyed the vegan sushi
My kids really wanted to eat here, I wasnt so keen as Im not a big fan of sushi. There was no need to worry! They serve a wide variety of Japanese cuisine. The food was excellent as were the staff. The lady who waited on our table seemed genuinely happy to be at work, welcoming us with a big smile and nothing was too much trouble.
Not tried YO before. Nice food simple to order.
I thought the sushi was good and the kidβs menu is generous. Service was quick and friendly, nothing was too much hassle so overall I would come again
Service was alright but the compliments are for the food:delicious!!
Loved the food and the atmosphere was relaxing.Just wish it was a bit cheaper.
Loved the new traffic light system and how the food stopped at the right place. The wasabi paste seemed to come on gigantic portions, the picture online was pea sized π
Kids LOVED the fun & the novelty, however, it was overpriced for something that offers very basic & limited sushi & Japanese food options. Could do with more soft drink options. Itβs not authentic, definitely not the real deal. It caters for western taste. The katsu chicken curry was good according to my 14 year old daughter (I didnβt try it) β¦. the chicken ramen was good (according to my 12 year old son) But I thought the Choi was over cooked. The ramen had a Chinese curry sauce flavour to it. I personally think the ramen had the wrong spices in itβ¦ That βcurry sauceβ is so easily emulated at home with a simple packet of Yeungs curry sauce! Beef teriyaki had burnt bits in it βΉοΈ I think they put some of the sesame seeds in the hot oil too early & burned them. It wasnβt too bad & it was edible but they could lose customers burning things like that β¦ it was slightly bitter in taste but not altogether ruined. Rice was good. Dorayaki pancakes with raspberry sauce were not fresh & tasted like they came out of a packet (kids loved them but I was thinking of how much the restaurant was charging us for something that obviously cost 1p a portion) chocolate brownie, again - not fresh & similar to what youβd get on an aeroplane β¦strawberry cheesecake mochi - not fresh but were so very cute & yummy & squidgey - just like edible stress balls! Mixed pepper squid was over cooked. Spicy chicken katsu roll & the dragon roll & mixed maki were all ok. Around Β£60-Β£100 for 3 people for a less than perfect experience. I would have tried the Korean style chicken but I knew Iβd be disappointed because I am good at making that! Everything was garnished with slices of chillies without any variation! In the U.K. we need βwowβ restaurants that have that authentic home style / street food taste where we are begging the chef to tell us their secrets, but we donβt seem to have any of that. Itβs a chain restaurant & theyβre ALL like this. This one is more overpriced than the others. Restaurants need to up their game because there are too many foodies out there who know what they are doing & are ready to criticise. This was cheap food with cheap ingredients. But we had fun.. staff were friendly
Very small portion sizes, nothing like on the photo. Pancakes are not even fresh..... Definitely not worth the price
Sunday 12:30 and they run out of 1/4 of menu, just 5 kinds of sushi very simple with ketchap and mayo :/ sad really. Yo sushi is like mc donald just fast and very low quality. Do not recomment and Im very disapointed
This place is the biggest nightmare in town for delivery drivers ! Every time is 15-20 minutes waiting no matter what day and time of day it is. You just waste your time sitting for ages in front of the place like a fool ... Never again !!!
Flys landing on food being prepared tables nobody is doing anything about it descused staff are pigs
So nice but exepensive
The wait has to long ,and the quality of the good bad....
Friendly staff and great food.
Currently dieing from starvation as I wait for my order.
Absolutely love this place, I go as often as I can, the staff are really friendly. Even when I cant go I like to have it delivered and even then it is still amazing food. Favourite items are the chicken gyoza and the Japanese fried chicken which is 100% the best fried chicken I have ever had. I absolutely recommend YO Sushi to everyone!
Good place for a quick bite to eat.
Good fast sushi food. Exactly what you expect from a Yo! Sushi. Friendly staff and quick service. Food was good and the COVID measures are very good with very little direct contact with others.
Great food, slow service, they need more chefs but I understand that due to covid restrictions they cannot. The staff were wonderful and worked at full speed, but not a quick eat.
Used a quick and simple app on my phone to order my food after being seated, drinks arrived quickly, but there was a bit of a wait on the food.I found the drinks and the smaller menu items were good value, but some of the main meal items can seem quite small for the price you pay.
Great friends. Covid restrictions strongly adhered to by both the staff and us. Felt safe at all times. Would go again but live over 100 miles away so might not make the journey.
Amazing place, always so welcome and ever so clean even before covid.
The worst sushi ever!!!!!! Very dirty place
Amazing food as always. Loved how the food is cooked to order because of covid. Fast service and great tasting food
Always love it here. Staff are amazing every time. Even with all the new procedures, and everything going on, and how busy it is, they are still my favourite place to eat
Always good
Not great sushi, badly assembled by inexperienced staff and honestly it just looked a mess. All could be forgiven if it was cheap, but it was Β£35 for me and a 10 year old, one drink each and we left feeling hungry.Dunno what I expected, but I expected better than that.
Great food as always, good social distancing and amended ways of working in place. Even with a limited menu due to COVID-19 there was plenty of choice and all delicious.
Yo sushi has kept up really well with covid, they do click and collect which is useful of you want great sushi to go but they have also adapted their conveyor belt system to be entirely covid secure,
Dead good Sushi!
My family is big fans of sushi. But they say they will never back here again. For that price you should get better quality
AVOID RESTAURANT.Bought a dorayaki for eat in just to find they had cut 3/4 of it and gave it to me. Where as those who order takeway receive a full fresh packed dorayaki for the same price. I asked the blonde waitress if I could swap for the takeaway packed and she mentioned they are not the same, different flavour. Then I asked her, its not fair I get 3 if I am paying the same price for one that is packed?Later decided to buy a large chicken katsu curry and came in a pretty small bowl.I thought I would come here as its quite overpriced and expected good treatment but there is barely any interaction.Overall very disappointed with this experience, never coming back and feel cheated o for my money.
Excellent food, and very good Covid planning
Good was ok but let down by poor service. After initial order taken, staff were not interested. Struggled to get staffs attention to order more dishes.
Ok
The thinnest sushi on the planet (California rolls) ! I shouldve taken pictures because it was that unbelievable. The roll was probably 5mm (not cm , mind u) , Im not even exaggerating , it fell apart in my hands when trying to pick it up.Obviously the chef is probably told to make them that thin so its just the greed of the restaurant owner that is at fault.Never going there again, especially for that price.
This sushi was delicious and I endorse their wasabi treats.
Nice experience spread out around the resteraunt, reduced menu but food still delicious
Rather brilliant to be honest. You walk in immediately find a seat and pick the food you want off of the conveyer belt running around the seating area. Or order from the menu and press a button for help. Food prepared fresh and for you to see. Recommend!
Woundfull definitely recommend clean pecfull we had a wonderful time
Fantastic food and great service! Very accommodating and set up well for social distancing.
Visited today, fairly busy but had to wait for order to be taken, then had to wait a further 40 minutes before asking if our hot food order was on its way or if it was ready could we take it away as had to return to work, only to be told the order hadnt been started. Resulting in us canceling the order.Disappointed as this is the third time this has happened, previously had to wait 50 minutes for food with no apology on a quite day, sadly to say I wont be paying a visit anytime soon, staff dont seem to care either.
Went the other day with 3 friends. The food is fantastic and lots to choose from. Even if sushi is not your thing then they still have lots for you to eat. Had a small issue as one of my items was taking a little while longer than expected but this was quickly rectified and they took it off the bill without me even saying anything. Very impressed overall and would recommend
Food was delicious, abit to expensive for me though.
Yummy as always! Chefs very willing to make you something that wasnt on the belt. Good service.
Absolutely amazing food and amazing friendly service, look forward to eating here a lot more
Love this place! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The food tastes amazing and you can order hot and cold food especially. Be sure to go on a Monday to get the Β£3 Blue dish menu!
Awesome place and friendly staff! Been eating here since it opened and was never disappointed. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it! I recommend it to everyone that loves seafood, Japanese and Korean style chicken and good Sake.
The hot food is always very below par!! I also go to other yo sushis and it is amazing how much the food quality varies between here and the others.
Very good food. Staff were excellent. The restaurant was very clean and well presented.
Great atmosphere and the food is wonderful. A surprisingly strong number of vegetarian and vegan options. Not super cheap (between three of us on the half a dozen times weve been we average about Β£20 per person) but compared to the high end restaurants in town I know where Id rather spend my money.
Great on vegan Wednesdays and with offers. Food is tasty but not always worth the money for what you get if Iβm honest
Great service and great food. Had a slight issue where an item I ordered was either lost or forgotten, but the gentleman who served me was very apologetic, got me a replacement immediately and didnt charge me for that item. Will definitely come here again.
After the light night down Worcester high Street, we had a booking with yo sushi for four.We made our first order to which our drinks were swiftly bought out but then our food had been forgotten about and after waiting 20 minutes we asked and they had lost the order. We then made another order once we finally received the original food and that took a while to be brought to us also, to which then the 2nd order of drinks we asked for was also forgotten. A couple of bowls were knocked off the order but the service was that bad, I still feel this wasnt good enough after the poor service we dealt with.
Love this place, one of my favourite places to eat and we got engaged there!
Such good food, service hit and miss, although seems to be improving
Great food and service
Love this Yo! Quick service and always seems to manage to seat us whenever we go. Not a massive fan of sushi, but still plenty that I would eat there.
Very friendly and helpful staff. A lot of vegan options. We have tried all of them π€· and were in love with every single one.
Dont ever bother to try to place an order or call; they dont care or want to answer.
Had a very nice meal as a diner of one, staff were lovely and attentive, selection was diverse on the belts of food that were whizzing around and I was well catered to. Had a bit of fun opening my bottle of Japanese soda which is certainly an experience I will say!Special thanks must be given as well to the lovely dark haired, black gentleman who got the chef to prepare one of their summer specials for me to sample without even asking! It was a fabulous palate cleanser inbetween dishes and I missed the opportunity to thank him before having to leave for a train.Overall a lovely experience and would definitely go back again.
Had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere. Great service and delicious food.
Always great food and friendly service!
Food all good but waitress too busy nattering to take a drinks order, had to ring for her. Good with allergy menu though.
