Very nice and cool place

Almost all necessary stuffs are available here. The price is very high due to the transportation cost. Few local things are cheap though. You have to pick and choose. Theres a fish market but no live fish is available. Chicken and pork are available in plenty. Restaurants are okay type! You will meet people who may not resemble with you in terms looks, clothes, language and culture but they are respectful and disciplined. You get as good as you give them. I will be here for a few more years so hope some standard services begin soon.

Nice place to visit

This is the biggest market in East Garo Hills, Williamnagar, Meghalaya. Saturday is the market day, if anyone wants to find a variety of vegetables and other households. For a small town like William Town, Id say youd pretty much find everything here.

Its a good place. Lots of local stores are there. As per my knowledge very soon big shopping market like trends and bazaar india will be coming soon

Good place

Place is very congested and at the same time essential commodities are not easily available. There is also an urgent need for a shopping mall and some departmental stores.

This is the main market in Williamnagar. All kind of stuffs and items are available in this area. You can buy clothes, groceries, electronic, etc.

Its good for local marketing in food products, local crafts and other essential general requirements available.

Being a lone and only daily as well as weekly market it caters to the need of the people of the town. But unfortunately, prices of most of the items are higher than the other parts of the country, as far as my knowledge is concerned. Need some improvement in terms of infrastructure among many others.

Much to do, in terms of town planning and settings.
