Our new favourite. True to its name, this Bamboo restaurant serves authentic Singaporean dishes for good price. Their Food is tasty with generous serving, service is pretty fast and place is clean. We dont usually book but if you plan to come in big group, it’s better to make early reservation to avoid disappointment. Location is great with easy parking.

Good value for money, we came on Saturday evening and were quite lucky to get a seat as we reached just after 6pm. Food was served promptly after order was taken. Youll definitely have to make reservations for bigger groups or if you are intending to dine during peak hours. Lastly authentic tastes from the dishes weve ordered.Hainanese chicken laksaFried Penang kway teowWantan soup noodles

Place very dated. Service is ok. Food was served quickly. Penang cha kueh tiao was good. Beef brisket was too tough and chewy so not recommended. Chendol was the best Ive had in Perth so far but would ask to cut down the sugar a tad. Would come back to try other dishes.

Fanastic food at fantastic prices. No frills place with fast servings of food. All the dishes we had were fantastic, the duck, fried rice, clay pot tofu, kway teow & salt & pepper squid.New chairs that are less bulky & a lighter paint colour will help the place look not so cramped & dark.

Ambience is old type people were sitting so close to each other. waiter looks experience d and service was good. I have to ask for the receipt and it just include the total payment not the dishes that I have ordered individual so you have to count from the menu beforehand. I can feel many regular patrons in the restaurant .More smile will attract new customersi would give 3.5 if google allows me. I ordered two type of food one was good one was ordinary not smoking 🔥🔥 hot. thanks

Have dined here many a time. The staff are very friendly and the dishes come out fast. Very reasonably priced - try the Mee Goreng or the Hainan Chicken Rice. Can get very busy (parking can be a problem sometimes - but that affects all the outlets in the Collins Rd precinct) but takeaway is always available.

Would not recommend eating here at allThe service was awful, was served the wrong dish and when asked the staff and manager to amend the order was completely disregarded and the staff was so rude arguing that that was exactly what I ordered when it was incorrect.Had to help myself to get my own drink when there was table service my mother was not served her drink until we had both finished our meals... and the food was cold not to mention bland. This is the worst Singaporean restaurant in all of Perth. Don’t go here unless you want to be disappointed!!

Delicious, filling food in a moderately sized suburban restaurant. It was quite busy even on a Wednesday, early evening, but we still managed to get a table. It was clear that several people were regulars and the efficient but friendly staff were chatting with them through the night. The four or five restaurants in the same complex didnt have nearly as many people in them as this one. These are all signs of a local favourite. Highly recommend stopping in if youre in the neighbourhood.

Terrible food & service...staff were very rude and left their dirty dish wiping cloth and plates on our table and kept throwing the cloth towards us as they wipe and kept the plates aside. We have been eating here for years and have always had good, fresh, enjoyable meals and friendly service. Always so busy which is a good sign you know.We were however a little disappointed recently when the honey chicken was a bit burned. Also, it appears that the portions as an amount of food provided is less than was previously. But well be back again as this was hopefully just a glitch on the day and of course our experience over the years must be reflected in our overall rating.Thank You

I think the food is very boring and utterly bland. Simple things like fried rice being made with fresh rice, mai fung with so much white pepper it was all you could taste. I think the chef really needs to taste the food.

Consistently good family favourites.Comfortable atmosphere. Fast order turnaround times. Fair pricing. Hard to find a fault to be honest.Updated, the last couple of times I have been to bamboo have been less than impressive. Food is ok but not up to standard for the prices. I was particularly unimpressed with the size of the serve for a fish dish I ordered.

Excellent. I had the Laksa. Loved it. My wife had some chicken thing. Yummy also. Prawn Toast was the best weve had. Other places flat and dry, but this was plump and juicy and bigger that the norm. The other entree was suggested to us because they only had veggy spring rolls. Very tasty.

A very assorted menu of Malaysian cousin. I tried a little bit of everything from meat to fish including dessert. We love the ice kacang at this restaurant. We didnt realise but they do 2 types, one with Rose syrup (our favourite and more Malaysian style) and another one with gula melaka (more Indonesian they tell us). Their noodles are good too so all in all a worthwhile place to have lunch/dinner. Its on our list of family favourite eats 😀.

Right, this place is ok for its food. There is a huge list on the menu which can be good and bad. Good side is you obviously have a wide variety to choose from, bad side is usually they are masters of none.. which is what happened here. The food, dont get me wrong is good, BUT it is not exceptional. With restaurants like Taurus next to it, its hard competition. The prawn noodle soup tasted quite authentic but the toppings felt a bit of a let down. With only half boiled egg, you understand that the egg have not been cooked fresh for your dish, it really made no sense apart from trying to maximise profit, to have only half an egg.The char kway teow had the burning smell which is what you are after but it also was a bit too sweet. Overall, I would say it is a place to go to if you dont have many options...
