They sold me ghost shrimp with parasitic horsehair worms clearly visible inside the shrimps body. I tried to call the store multiple times and my call keeps getting put on hold and goes unanswered. Now I have to spend all this unnecessary money to treat my entire tank. Will never shop here again.

Been having a lot of problems getting cat food that my cat will eat for months. This store had a wonderful assortment of ones my kitty likes. I live in CT and we dont have Petsmart here. Was going to NY for a dentist appointment and took advantage of the trip. Glad I did. Kitty is set for quite some time.

Great selection of crates, which was what I was looking to buy. They had 2 set up which was wonderful to be able to see and touch them as a display. I was very impressed with the set up. It was not my usual Petsmart, but, was on the way from work to home. So, now, it just might be.

Greenburg Banfield has definitely been the worst experience for my wife and I. First we have 2 appointments cancelled. Never got a notification or a call from them . My wife called to confirm and was told that someone ( me or her) had cancelled the appointment And reschedule it for next month. My wife and I never cancelled the appointment, we both work and have a busy schedule. We took the day off for the appointment we had and still they didnt care and said we changed the dates . She has spoken with Nikki . However, today we went to drop of our pups and when we went to pick them up a lady had an appointment and for our surprise she was told by Nikki that she had called to cancel and schedule the appointment for July . The lady was very upset and told Nikki she never cancelled , called or know who did. She even showed Nikki the call she had gotten to confirm the appointment for today. All of a sudden Nikki started yelling at the lady , no respect . I dont know how Banfield has employees like this working for them . Theres no need to be rude or yell or make things worse for clients . The situation was handled very poorly by Nikki .

The Door Dash delivery service is absolutely horrible. Tried it twice. First time i had two different delivery people call me and cancel their delivery saying that it was too far for them to drive for what doordash pays them (keep in mind it was within the distance doordash sets for the delivery). Finally after repeated calls to customer service I got the delivery. The second time, delivery person arrived without half my order. He left to go back to the store, blaming the store for not giving him the items. I called the store and apparently (per them) he left without the full order. As I type this Im waiting to see what happens. Obviously no one bothers to confirm that the delivery person has the items. The blame falls on both doordash and PetSmart. This service is obviously operated/managed extremely poorly and it reflects on both.

Have been taking my yorkie to be groomed for years @ petsmart and have never issues about brushed and cut for my yorkie until yesterday 3/23/2021.The customer service and poor grooming service from the manager. My dog is extremely uneven on one side , her face hairs is longer then the other, and the manager is who groomed my yorkie the manager had the nerve to say because they didn’t bath her is why her hair cut looks that way like really I still paid the same damn price with or without the bath. The customer service is the worst I miss the old groomers who was there compare to now. I paid for express service an actually got a poor hair cut for $83.00.

We kept our dog for an overnight stay at this PetSmart PetsHotel. Upon check out we found a deep red wound underneath her thigh. They did something terrible to her and denied all knowledge of it! She couldn’t take the stairs or climb in the car, and slept all the time for a few days. Please don’t keep your pets here, who knows what goes on in the back! I had heard these horror stories but when they happen to you, you know they are true and ongoing....

I visit 3-4 pet stores a week. This is my favorite location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked and clean. The animals are always looking healthy and well cared for. One star off because they need to start carrying Primal Frozen cat food and other high end food brands so I can consolidate my shopping.

Im getting a new puppy and I just went in to ask for all the essentials in the staff was so helpful had everything I needed they were super nice and I highly recommend going here.

Now since John is the store manager and Karina is the salon manager the store is going to be on top of customer amd pet services! Before the old management left, this store was a mess to say the least! As a shopper there I can now trust the people giving me advice!

It took multiple attempts to schedule a grooming appointment. When I finally got in, I had a work emergency that was going to make me a few minutes late. When I called ahead, they said that I would loose my appointment even if a few minutes late. After rescheduling to a new appointment, I showed up 10 minutes early. There was only one woman working and she turned me away and said I had to come at the EXACT time of my appointment, that she could not check me in. When I tried to reason, the worker rudely continued that it was only ten minutes and to come back then. There were two other workers messing around in the back that easily could have assisted. The store itself has always been a great experience but the grooming salon does not follow. I do NOT recommend using this groomer as they are understaffed, unorganized, and rude. I ended up leaving and cancelling my appointment. Anyone that rude and short-tempered should not be using sharp grooming tools around animals!

The sales assistant helping me was very helpful and personable. It turned out she need assistance from a coworker who was very rude towards her and made a really snarky comment in front of customers. I would have spoken to the manager, but this happened in close proximity to him. Having worked in retail you deal with enough difficult customers when your coworkers make you job difficult it is extremely offputting and I wont be going back to this particular location for a while. In general I shop at PetSmart often and have never had such an unpleasant experience.

Pet Smart is a great store! They have everything you need and more! If you dont see what you want, ask the Mgr, super helpful guy. Plus....you can bring your pets in. Their prices are high on some items, but it was so easy with everything I needed right there and they have a Grooming Dept. An Adoption area for Kittens as well as an Animal Hospital right inside the store! My new Puppy and I will bevery happy shopping together.

Went in quickly to get one item for my baby, got on line and the gentleman in front had some time of an issue, he asked the cashier to pend the transaction and check me out. while he waited for the manager to work on his issue. Unfortunately, Petsmarts system cant do that (hint, hint, program registers to pend transactions). The cashier advised me to go to the next cashier, but then she realized that the other cashier had an issue too. The cashier, then said, come with me to the closed register at the end. She quickly signed in, I paid and was out quickly. I wish I took her name so that I could do a shout out to her. The lady cashier knows what customer service is all about. Wish more were like her.

PetSmart is my go to place for all my dogs needs. They have a wide variety of treats and products. I love how for each holiday they have characters dressed up for your pets to take pictures with. I recommend PetSmart to all who have pets and I am a repeat customer.

Today on 8/24/17 around 9:00 there is a very nice cashier that was trying to be helpful, she did not know the answer to my question so she called her manager to get some help. After several attempts to call the manager she walked to bring him to the register and instead of helping her answer my question he dismissed both of us telling the cashier she should know everything about the products and walked away. If you want to keep your employees they should be trained. If an employee asks a questions to a manager, the manager should help the employee by providing information so the employee will know the next time how to help the customer.

We went to pick up a fish for our tank whenWe were looking we noticed that the tanks were full with dead and diseased fish. This made me very hesitant to pick up aFish because I didn’t want to infect mine at home. I’ve been coming here for years but it seems like It’s slowly going down hill this location just be careful when shopping for pets her all I gotta say

In store pick up is a joke. I waited for 30 mins for the employees to scramble and get my items.. I should have honestly just gone in as a regular customer and picked up my items myself.. too bad.. i loved the idea of in store pick up but this was EXTREMELY disappointing.

They had a green tree frog which was what we were looking for. The tank accessories were priced well. Sales associate was very engaging and knowledgeable.

Grooming was within 2 hours but gotten pricey.

This location is well stocked and the staff was really nice. We were there to look at a cat for possible adoption. Theres a company that comes in on weekends with fostered cats and they were really nice too. It didnt end up working out for us as far as getting a cat, but it was still a really nice experience and a recommended location if youre looking for pet supplies or are interested in adoption. Plenty of parking available.

We love bringing our little Enzo here for overnight stays. He has an awesome time at the playtime with the other little dogs. Plus we always give him an exit bath before we take him home.

I love this locations fish section. Its always clean and the manager knows his stuff. I drive past Petco and Petsmart on Central Ave in Yonkers just to come down here and get my supplies and/or fish. Their tanks are always clean. I never see dead fish floating in their tanks or an excessive amount of buildup in their tanks. Clearly, someone here loves their job and takes the time to clean the tanks and quarantine any fish that require it so they dont affect the otherfish. Cant say the same for the Petsmart in Yonkers. They couldnt care less about tank maintenance. Keep up the good work, guys. We depend on it.

I bought my first pet ever. 2 parakeets. The associates I came into contact with were the greatest. They didnt try to sell me the most expensive items like some other places but gave me knowledge so that I could get what I needed within my budget. The only non 5 star in the entire experience was the cashier. Kind of cold but very happy to say goodbye. (she may have been tired, but she kind of let some of the air out of my sails) because I was sooooo happy. Im 49 and I never had a pet that I could say, I bought them, theyre mine.
