Chelsea was absolutely amazing! She was kind and SO patient with all my questions/concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable about the building(s) and each apartment. She has made the rental process a breeze. Thank you so much!!!
Great place. Beautiful apartments with fantastic amenities. Very friendly staff in the administration. I worked with Chelsea who treated me with high respect and care and patiently answered all my questions and helped me find the unit that best suited to my interests and needs. I highly recommend Continuum.
This place is great. Chelsea was very helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been trying to figure out personally what it is that I’m looking for in a place to live and she was able to help me understand the different options available and made ample time to show me many different apartments. Chelsea was friendly and easygoing, while still maintaining a level of professionalism that made the whole experience very comfortable. Thanks
Horace Lyons, the leasing consultant at Continuum was awesome to work with!! I was looking to lease an apartment at Continuum 55 in White Plains. He answered all my questions, followed up with me for finding me a perfect apartment in my budget. Eventually I got an accommodation on hospital campus so I won’t be leasing with them this year. The property is beautiful!!! If you’re interested in leasing; ask for Horace!!!
Lovely modern building with great amenities. The office team is prompt, friendly, and helpful. The maintenance crew is top notch. The units can be on the small side and parking is valet which I don’t love (though the people working in the garage are great), but other than those two things, it’s been a very positive experience living here!
Not even moved in but already feel the poor management. We had a tour appointment at 12:30 and arrived around 12:40 since no one communicated with us where to park. And when we get in the lobby the assistant said since we late we could only have a self tour with the key. We clearly saw the leasing agent was in the office and the appointment time interval is about every 45min, how could a 10min late making the whole tour canceled. As for the apartment, 57 is new but only outside. The quality of the building and inside not really good.
My fiance and I are moving in soon and are very excited! After a Covid year in NYC, were looking forward to lowering our tax bill and having an easy commute into Manhattan. The building is beautiful and were thrilled to have all the amenities. The gym is HUGE, theres a pool, very nice areas to study/work/relax, and it sounds like there are a lot of community events so that residents can get to know each other. Thanks to Chelsea for being a wonderful leasing agent! She did a great job and showed us many units on our tour. We called her the same day we toured to start an application.
As a new resident, the staff has gone above and beyond to make this transition smooth. Horace, especially, has been a true gem. He has assisted in every step along the way, including, answering texts on weekends at any time. I would recommend this beautiful building to anyone!
I went to go see the studios available here and the service from the valet parking all through the showing of the studios and application process was amazing!. Trianna our leasing consultant was top-notch and super nice allowing us to complete the application in person and letting us know of our approval. I cant wait to move in next month! I am super excited! My furry baby and I cant wait!
Took a tour of these apartments this past weekend. The apartments are really nice- new appliances, hardwood floors, W/D in unit, etc. The building also has great amenities like a gym and pool. Our tour was with Horace and he was very friendly and knowledgeable!
Horace Lyons was great and made the overall leasing process so easy. The building and everyone is so nice. No complaints.
I came in this Saturday for a tour with Chelsea Mann. She was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and made me feel extremely at ease during the whole process. If you are looking for a leasing consultant for Continuum 55-57, I recommend working with Chelsea! She was great! Beautiful building and exceptional staff. I cannot wait to move in!
I am really looking forward to starting my lease in this beautiful building! Chelsea has been extremely helpful and dedicated to making the leasing process quick, enjoyable, and personalized. She has also been continually available with advice and very accomodative for a first-time mover like myself, which is more than I could have ever wished for in a process like this. Thank you, Chelsea!
The Continuum has the best leasing team hands down. We had our first tour with Trianna Phillips who was friendly, patient and thorough. We couldn’t make up our minds on which apartment to get so we ended up going back to view more apartments and meeting with Chelsea Mann who was fantastic. She is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable and even answered our emails on her day off! She went above and beyond. Truly exceptional team.
Chelsea is the best at what she does for the guest looking to reside at the building. I experienced a great tour with and I can’t wait to move into the building. The amenities are top notch and everyone seems so pleased. Ask for Celsea Mann to schedule your tour of the building.
Not satisfied with valet parking based on the damage I’ve received on my car as of lately. I drive 2 miles to the gym and back as I work remote. I received damage to my car and no one has been able to assist. However I have filed a police report.I posted on the Community Bulletin to inquire if anyone of the residents had a dash cam for assistance that may have captured as well as confirming my car had no damage when I returned. My post has been deleted which is unfortunate, but I’m currently networking with some leasing consultants within the area with my situation as I may have to abort my lease which is okay.
Love Chelsea! She gave me and my boyfriend a tour, made us want the apartment! 100% recommend asking for her if you wanna check this place out! Super cool, friendly, and nice yet professional and honest!
The Continuum is a stunning building with impressive amenities and the leasing team is so helpful! Horace has been such a pleasure to work with throughout the process — from arranging tours on short notice to keeping in touch regarding new opportunities. He is very knowledgeable about the building and answered all of our questions about the leasing process. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him!
After a summer of wanton disregard for basic pool rules and neighborly decency, with little to no enforcement, one of the buildings main amenities, the pool displayed prominently on all of their downtown White Plains advertising had to be closed two weeks earlier than anticipated. This building does not have excessive rules, and the ones in place are fair to ensure that all tenants have an enjoyable, safe experience living in this luxury building. At the pool, the two rules that tenants are amazingly unable to comply with are no loud music, and no glass. After a summer where the relaxing pool could often feel like a loud, obscence pool party, disrespectful tenants broke a glass beer bottle, which landed in the pool. Due to people not realizing beer is sold in cans, this caused the pool to be closed for the last 2 weekends of the season, as they claimed there was not enough time to drain and refill. This situation was completely avoidable, as anyone with an ounce of common sense wouldnt be stupid enough to bring glass to a pool, and if they do, should be immediately reprimanded by the lifeguard or pool staff. When rules like this are not enforced, its no surprise that these incidents occur. While this may seem like a minor incident, I have little to no faith that building management will enforce any rules going forward, and at this point will just have to wait and see what issues arise due to this lack of caring.
Im in the process of signing a new lease. The building is beautiful and the Leasing agent, Chelsea Mann has been nothing short of amazing. She’s been super understanding and helpful. The only negative I have here is the prices are a tad high comparable to the area for a 2 bedroom.
I am currently in the process of finalizing on an apartment with the help of Chelsea M. She has been super helpful and informative throughout the process. She has been answering every question so promptly. I was driving by the area and she was so kind as to accommodate me as a walk in to explore the amenities and the building. She has definitely helped in finalizing my decision to pick Continuum.
I worked with Chelsea Mann at Continuum 57 and she could not have been more helpful in our apartment search. She was a pleasure to work with, responded quickly, and even put on a hard hat to send me a video of a unit we wanted to put an application down for which could not be publicly viewed due to construction. I highly recommend Chelsea and we had an excellent experience working with her.
Horace Lyons, a leasing consultant was awesome and very knowledgeable of their amenities!! My family and I were looking to lease an apartment at Continuum 55 in White Plains .... it wasn’t a good fit for us. The property is beautiful!!! If you’re interested in leasing; ask for Horace!!!
Chelsea Mann was probably the best leasing agent we’ve encountered when looking for apartments. She was so thorough with the whole process and was able to answer any questions we had for her. It was such a pleasure and we can’t wait to move in!
Ive worked in White Plains for a few years and live in a neighboring town. Ive watched Continuum built from the ground up. Never in a million years would I imagine Id be moving in to this fabulous building. I saw the listing one morning and thought hey you never know... From the moment I called and spoke with Horace Lyon the leasing agent at Continuum I realized this place was something special. He explained everything there was to know. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He gave us a tour of the building and didnt put any pressure on us as we had been looking around at other communities to move to. After our tour we drove away thinking it doesnt get better than Continuum 55. We called Horace and within minutes he got back to us and let us know that we could call Continuum our home. We are truly excited on our move! Thank You Horace Lyons!!! #continuum55 #whiteplainsliving
Great experience with Chelsea today! She was extremely knowledgeable and professional, answered all of my questions with great consideration, and really showed me all that the Continuum has to offer. If you are looking to upgrade, I highly recommend you make an appointment for a tour with her.
Chelsea Mann took me on the building tour - she was very knowledgable about the building and the leasing process. The leasing was streamline and easy. I look forward to moving in!
Just recently moved in and love it! Chelsea was extremely helpful and accommodating made the process seamless, delighted to be living here.
I recently met with Chelsea for a viewing and I’m so happy it went so well! I had a list of questions and she was able to answer them all. Chelsea made the process much easier which I appreciate!
Meeting with Chelsea M made the prospect of moving and looking at apartments reassuring, instantly putting me at ease. She was incredibly informative- making sure to breakdown the amenities available , apartment layout , even knowledge of the local area. Best decision ever!!!
Toured the building with Horace on last minute notice. He was extremely accommodating, informative, and knowledgable throughout the tour and followed up with email almost immediately. Building is modern and sleek with great shared amenity spaces, units have amazing floor to ceiling windows in each room.
Had a tour with Chelsea. She was very patient and answered all questions I had. She was kind and knowledgeable. She took her time to go through everything with us. I would highly recommend having a tour at the complex with her.
Had a great experience working with Horace. He was thorough in answering all of my questions and made the process seamless. Im looking forward to moving in!
Had an amazing tour today with Chelsea who was great. Loved the building and units. Best so far I have looked at in White Plains.
Our 2nd year living in Continuum continues to be greatThrough the ongoing pandemic the staff has become family to us. Very helpful and understanding with EVERYTHINGThe grounds are kept very clean. The elevators are quick and the amenities are spectacular for White Plains. We probably use the patio on the roof, grills and lounge the most.My favorite thing about my actual apartment is the thick floor-to-ceiling windows. Numerous windows in our apartment have the ability to open for fresh air but when they are closed, we can’t hear a thing from downtown
Here’s a special thanks to Tyese Love on making lemonade out of lemons! Appreciate you coming in Saving the Day by accommodating us so that we can move in before our current lease ends. The leasing and management officer at continuum works seamlessly to get you where you need to be... Teamwork surely makes the dream work! Thank you again #tyeselove and sending a prayer to #horacelyons... May he have a speedy recovery!! You both knocked it out the park!! Excited and feeling blessed n favored... guess who is moving to the #Continuum57. We... we are!
I’ve just moved into the Contiuum and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The leasing process was made super easy by Horace, as he took the time to answer any and all questions that I had, as well as gave me a tour of all the great amenities!
Nice building, but deff needs different management. The current management only cares about getting your money. They are not interested in accommodating residents. And they will fine you for anything: not having a mask on properly, having a candle in your apartment, parking in the front, literally anything they can find. And they will send out threatening emails about possibly getting fine which can give you anxiety. The emails they send out are just so mean and nasty. Makes you feel like.you just committed a felony. The Smoking thing is understandable, but all the other stuff is super excessive. Management makes you feel like you’re walking on eggshells. Always having be careful about what you’re doing so you don’t make them “mad.” no freedom or space to breath for anything. Superrrrr strict. They try to “contol” you and “control their residents way of life” more then a boss or a parent. Feels like you’re constantly being watched almost.like you’re living in a fancy jail cell. And I don’t even think NY STATE permits fines for not having “your mask on properly.” Every email you get is either a threat or is about doing.something wrong. You will never get a nice “good news” email. It’s almost like they are sending out these emails on purpose to intimate you and to ruin your day. Whenever I got one; I.automatically knew it would be bad news and my anxiety would.spike. They’re just so mean :/ Aside from all the excessive rules, they refuse to help residents for anything. When you do something wrong they will blow up your phone, but when you need help for something, they will ignore you and blow you off. Don’t expect them to work with you for anything or.get any breaks. Meanwhile they have the fire alarm go off all day, everyday. It’s a super one-sided relationship. The resident usually end up being the ones trying to accommodate management; not the other way around. Just because it’s so one-sided the relationship can be a little toxic. Upper management vehemently refused to help or really do anything for residents; you’re just a dollar sign to them. And they will get an attitude and suck their teeth if you dare even try to ask for help/favor. Just only care about themselves; And using you for your money. I’ve been in other buildings, maybe not as aesthetically pleasing, but the management’s efforts makes it a better overall experience. Here is the opposite of that. If you’re looking for somewhat of a nice building, with strictly a business-to-resident relationship with the leasing office, then this is your place, but mindful that you will receive no favors, no help at all during a pandemic, no efforts to accommodate; no nothing. And all the amenities they do have close at 9pm! Yes 9 pm! The whole point of the rooftop is to enjoy the night view and you can’t even do that because they close it as soon as it is nighttime. You pay your rent, they get their money and that’s the end of it. And yes, they don’t HAVE to go the extra mile for residents, but it would be nice if they did. It would make the overall experience.so much better and a more desirable.location because the building itself is already nice. Just needs to stop thinking of residents as dollars signs. But then again, that’s.the typical landlord-resident relationship most renters are forced to have. Unfortunate, but it is what it is.
I lived in continuum for 1 year. I really like the place. Easy to connect to NYC. Specially i moved in from Asia so everything was new to me in US so this place helped me to settle in quickly. I was never worried much about my apartment as everything was taken care promptly. All the staff are very friendly. Maintenance team worked at their best to solve my issues. Also concierge very kind. Manager Mark always ready help, easy to approach & address your concerns quickly. Very supportive.During this pandemic I found the buildings conman places were cleaned very thoroughly which i really find important. I wish in future i will get a chance to stay there again.
Took a tour of the apartments!!! Thanks to Chelsea for showing me around!! 5 stars are not enough
The continuum is the best apartment complex in White Plains, arguably the best in Westchester! Great neighbors and a great manager! Mark is the best!
Wonderful wonderful place! ❤
Out of all the buildings Ive looked at in White Plains, this was by far the best atmosphere and easiest experience with leasing.Biannis the leasing consultant was so patient with me, I was very indecisive with which unit I wanted. She wasnt pushy in anyway and expressed all the pros for each unit and was great with answering all my questions and concerns. The building has such a great atmosphere, neighbors are friendly and all common areas are extremely clean.
I would like to thank Mark, the Building Manager and Denis the Super and his team for tending to my flooring issues in my apartment with urgency, promptness and professionalism. Ive been living here since 2017 and have met quite a number of Continuum employees that deserve recognition and these guys are to be acknowledged. Thanks for making my residence a continued pleasure 🙏🏽!
Nice looking building and in a good location, however I do not feel it is worth the aggravation. Management has been a revolving door since we moved in 2 1/2 yrs ago. They seem pretty disorganized and are constantly making up new rules that do not benefit tenants. The parking garage is chaotic and expensive. It is $175 per month to park one car. There is basically no street parking around the building, so be prepared to have all your guests pay high prices to park in the dysfunctional garage. My air conditioner, dryer and washer are constantly needing servicing and they are all relatively new. All doors are heavy and hard to get into if you have a stroller/ shopping caddy. If you face the train tracks be prepared to get the bright lights of the train reflected into your apartment at night, and be prepared to hear the loud noises and horns if you crack your windows. My husband and I are are our whits-end and we will be moving when our lease is up. Honestly, I wish we never moved here.
Biannis is the absolute BEST leasing agent I have ever dealt with!! She made arrangements to be immediately available for my wife and I who are 9.5 months pregnant. We needed to leave our rental in Yonkers at the Avalon because of noisy and disrespectful neighbors and Biannis came in like a hero!!!! She made this the fastest move possible where we met on Sunday and chatted about everything from kids and family and friends. We felt like she was the coolest aunt in the world. Anyhow, we met Sunday and moved in on Wednesday!!! It was that fast and easy. My wife and I love her and already recommended friends who are moving in at the end of October. The continuum is clean friendly and like living in a 6 Star hotel. Don’t plan on pleading for a while unless I win lotto soon. So happy to have found a home to bring our soon to be born son!!!
We had an amazing experience touring with Chelsea!
I lived in the continuum apartments for 7 years and in the last three years I observed a big declined in the quality of the place.Although staff is very friendly and helpful, it seems that management/directors have no interest on keeping the quality levels proportional to the rent prices (which keep rising every year). See below for a detailed (long) review:When I moved in in 2013 there used to be monthly AC cleanings (now they occur only at request and in a very superficial manner), annual thorough floor cleanings in corridors and common areas of the buildings (which included polishing and painting), biannual window cleanings for all apartments from the outside (my apartment windows were not cleaned once in the last 5 years), offerings of carpet cleanings with every renewal (which dont occur anymore), etc.Little by little all of these services stopped happening until none was left, however, prices kept increasing and the apartments and facilities kept getting older and older.Humidity has become a big problem too and the current solution is bulky and quite noisy dehumidifier machines that take half of the kitchen counter space and sink. The garage gets flooded with every storm, and the swimmingpool has been broken (and therefore subsequently closed -that is also years before covid regulations-) for weeks every summer for the last 3-4 years. On top of that, the building fire alarms jump randomly for not real reason, with a frequency that is quite worrying, whenever there is a big storm or strong winds (which has caused building evacuation and all the fuzz in the wee hours of the night/morning more than once).I stayed in because location is good and staff is friendly and helpful, and, tbh, because, at the time, staying was more convenient that moving out. However, now that I have left Gainesville, if I were to move back or recommend a place to stay, I am sorry to say it wont be this one... Which it is a shame, because, otherwise, I keep fond memories from my time there.Hopefully, theyll realize their mistakes and change their way back to a better quality.
Chelsea was extremely informative and professional! Thank you, Chelsea!
The Continuum is a Newer building in White Plains with an almost finished and close to fully Leased 2nd Tower! Nice Amenities, Secure apartments, a Great Property Manager and Assistant, and a terrific new Leasing Staff.Maintenance is on board but get your requests in as soon as possible so it will get to them. There is Valet Parking and more new Staff. Some Residents can be noisy and disruptive, so if you find you are unhappy, contact Tyese Love, in the Leasing Office, and she will help with that. You are allowed Pets and there are some great Dog Parks not too far. The Front Desk has the best workers who get to know almost everyone. Packages are delivered and you will get messages to come get them as well as make Requests in the Resident Portal, set up for info on Events and Parties as well as news about changes in the Building. You are 5 min to the Metro, near downtown White Plains and the Apartments are really lovely!
I used to work here and I loved everyone. The staff was great and very helpful. The residents were very nice and and pleasant to be around. Mark , is a terrific building manager very helpful and supportive. It is a beautiful building and more to come with the expansion. Good luck.
Ive been residing at the Continuum now for almost 3 years and I really enjoy the atmosphere, the amenities and the promptness of things to be fixed or tended to by the Super Durim. Hes always been quick to respond to my maintenance requests with urgency and friendliness! I will definitely renew my lease for 2021.
Decent building, questionable management and oversight of the parking vendor. Frankly, I’d only suggest living here if you don’t have a car. The parking is ran by SP+ and is valet only. Believe me when I tell you, the parking was an utter nightmare during my time here. They damaged my car 2 times without the courtesy of informing me (a brand new car less than 1 week old) and frequently locked me out of the garage claiming I owed money even though I furnished payment receipts every month.I am dumbfounded as to how management hasn’t gotten fed up and replaced them with another operator. The valet service is greatly impacting the reputation of the building in a negative way. If you look at other reviews, it has been a source of numerous complaints over the past 2 years or so. It’s not at all appropriate for the luxury price you pay to live here, the NYC housing authority even has a better parking system for its tenants. It’s a shame since the building is nice otherwise.
I have lived in this building for a year and I’m so happy that my lease is ending, and I can move out. If you want peace of mind stay away. This is not a luxury apartment. Loud, ghetto people keep moving in. They have loud parties until 5 am. It seems like management doesn’t check if people will be good tenants or doesn’t care. I agree with everyone else about the problems with management (an extra $60 a month for them to not do anything), parking, water pressure, fire alarm, the list goes on. Save yourself and don’t rent here.
The Continuum has been a great so far! My friendly neighbours, office staff, and front desk really make this place feel like home. We recently sold our house and downsized in to an apartment. It was liberating getting rid of all the extra things in your life you realize you dont need! Continuum has top-notch common grounds that made this life-transition so easy for us.
Great place, Biannis Guzman the leasing manager is the reason why. Fantastic service all around!!
My fiance, and I just got approved for an apartment here. I have to say the customer service we received from Tyese and Biannis was exceptional! They were quick, responsive, and made the whole process easy to follow. Its not a great time to be moving amid the current climate, but they made it pleasant. If this service is any indication on how theyll be through out our time living here, I am so excited!
Great view and nice place however rather expensive
This building looks nice, but it is very poor quality and poorly run. You would expect a lot more for the high rents. I lived there for a year and had a very negative experience. The locks on my door constantly malfunctioned. The parking garage was always super slow and they changed parking managers several times. Nobody every knew what was going on in the garage. As far as building management is concerned they are not receptive to requests and there has been a very rapid turnover in management. Most appliances in the building are very low quality. The washer/dryer doesnt clean or dry well. They fleece you with the electricity bills through a third party vendor. The supposed amenities are lame. The pool was cloudy and did not open until well past memorial day. The grills and hard to operative and need a key to start. At Continuum you do not get what you pay for. We were so happy to move out and not deal with them again!
I have been living at Continuum for almost 3 years and I love residing here. The head Concierge Camilo is an asset to the Continuum family. Camilo is very detailed oriented, devoted, respectful and a problem solver who serves the Continuum family with a spirit of excellence. Camilo thank you for your support and excellent service.
Lived here for a year. Here is my delayed review now that Im out.Enough is enough! There is always one problem after another and I am constantly stressed. I couldnt get the leasing office to send me move out instructions after multiple contacts. Reserved elevator for move out but no one was present to help operate it. Nightmare.ParkingMandatory valet parking. Extremely stressful to take your car in and out of the building. Sometimes takes 30 minutes to get your car. Makes me think twice about going out. The previous parking company lost my car key twice. Current company made a dent in my car. Many residents had their cars damaged.Washer / DryerDoing laundry here is dreadful. Even with small loads, washer/dryer performance is terrible. Clothes never get washed well so I run my laundry twice. Huge waste of time and detergent. The dryer takes hours to completely dry.Air ConditioningThe HVAC system constantly breaks down. In my first 3 months during summer, it broke down once every month. In the coldest days of Thanksgiving and Winter, I woke up freezing and had to wear my winter jacket to survive. Broken parts, dirty filter, boiler failure, you name it.WaterWater pressure is very poor. Toilet often gets clogged. Water pressure in my kitchen was fixed after 8 months of living here. Black water comes out of the tap occasionally. I was told to contact the city’s water quality control service myself.MaterialsDont be fooled by the new exterior. Everything is cheap. Floor and walls scratch easily, toilet stains easily, paint powder falls off walls. I would be concerned if I am raising kids. Management never follows up to complaints.PrivacyIf you are facing the street, there is little privacy. Whole room is visible from other units or building across the street so I need to have the curtains down at all times.Fire Alarmsthe fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, sometimes multiple times a day, as late as 3am. No explanation was given for many days. Simply unacceptable.ManagementThe superintendent and management are aware of all these issues, but no action is taken. The lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. Most times we do not get any email about why something is broken.ExtraKeys for unit door stop working randomly. Could not get a hold of leasing office. The only upside is that the building is new. Giving more than 1 star for memories made in the neighborhood and initial rent price was comparable to other older apartments.
I am a former resident of Continuum White Plains, where I experienced the worst housing I’ve had in all my years renting. I am relieved to no longer reside there.I’ll confirm a number of issues that many others have already shared.Everything was cheap. Appliances, fixtures, paint, etc. The paint would simply crumble into powder and dust. The temperature in the refrigerator could not be adjusted, and would alternately melt and freeze everything. I mostly had no use of the refrigerator, as when I did store anything there, I constantly had to discard food and drink because of the melting/freezing, wasting a great deal of money.Every load of laundry had to be washed at least twice, as items were still dirty after only one cycle. The dryer took hours to dry even small loads. That is not an exaggeration. The garage had a mandatory valet policy. They contracted with SP+, a valet company. I never had my vehicle retrieved in a timely manner, and regularly waited 30-45 minutes, even when texting my ticket number in advance. The valets would rev engines and race cars down the ramps. My vehicle was damaged in 3 separate places, on 3 separate occasions. Dozens of other vehicles were damaged, as well. Mercedes-Benz of White Plains contracted parking for their employees, who all complained about damage, in one particular instance of which I’m aware, was quite significant. Management was well aware of the issues with SP+, however never took action to correct the problem. The hot water was constantly not working. The heat was constantly not working. There I was, in my “luxury apartment” wearing layers of clothing, freezing during cold, New York winters, unable to take hot showers. Management gave no explanation for these issues. The fire alarm would randomly sound multiple times throughout all hours of the night, Management gave no explanation for days. All of these things are completely unacceptable. I am still dealing with LCOR, the management company, regarding my experience. It is seemingly clear that Continuum White Plains does not value their residents, and that LCOR is not a company of integrity. I’ll update my review if necessary. If anyone would like to speak to me regarding a negative experience with Continuum White Plains, and/or LCOR, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We just moved in to the building and its great. Very dog friendly and the people we have met so far are wonderful. The front desk is extremely helpful with anything you need and all of the staff is amazing. I dont think we could have picked a better apartment
I’ve just renewed my lease with Biannis. She is really great. An effortless process. I’ve enjoyed my first year at 55 Bank St quite a bit. The common areas, pool, bbq, golf simulator and rooftop deck are all very nice.
Great building, enjoy the location and the super is very responsive to request. Would recommend to friends and family.
I have been a resident here for a few years now and its been a good experience. Any problem that I have had was always taken care of quickly and the building is always clean. Thank you Durim, Management and the cleaning crew for always being so attentive!
I have a friend who lives in this Complex. The complex is very nice, there is a lot of friendly people in this complex. The staff is awesome and also the pool is very well kept as well as the common areas.
Just to let you know about the oft-mentioned parking issue: I am at 15 Bank, moving to 55 soon, prob. 15 bank has a garage but--confession time--I HATE IT, underground parking can be sketchy and are often not easily escaped in case of fire) I moved my car to the municipal lot next to the sears and PROBLEM SOLVED! Less expensive and no waiting, no hassle. One short block away, which I actually enjoy the walk and avoiding hassles like waiting for valets. No need to leave a great building in White Plains--plenty of parking options.
If you want peace of mind stay away. This is not a luxury apartment. We lived here for a year, because our lease was that long, if we didnt have to, we would have moved out earlier.Very low quality appliances in the apartment. Laundry machines that dont wash properly, dryers that either dont dry or needs 3 hours of spinning to dry. Small fridge that leaks and minimal freezer. Fire alarms that routinely go off, we stopped going downstairs 15 floors since they where all false. Tremendous safety issue! There is a problem in their fire alarm system that cannot be resolved. The maintenance manager Durim has serious mental issues, so maintenance issues are never resolved the first time or the second. You have to call the management for everything where people are constantly quitting and you have a new face. The forced valet parking is a disaster, you have to wait ~30 min for your car, even if you texted 35 min ago. They damaged our car TWICE without telling us (of course), even if they pay for the repair, the car will not look the same.I am happy we have moved out now.
Looks nice from the outside unfortunately we haven’t been able to view the inside. We walked in, emailed, and left a voice message to schedule an appointment....no one has responded. Their loss!
No one answered the phone after application for one week. It looks like they don’t welcome new residents now.Update by 7/29/2019: This is definitely one of the worst experiences. They finally answered the phone today and said they will call us for final result by 1:30pm today. But it never happened. I called again 10 minutes ago and they pushed the result to tomorrow afternoon by 5pm. Will update tomorrow.Update by 7/30/2019: Finally got it approved. Hope they can get things done more friendly in future.
The Continuum is a well maintained building with an array of hotel like amenities ...its a little pricey for White Plains; still, it is within walking distance to Metro North and very close to down town. The deal breaker for me , unfortunately, was the valet parking; I am not comfortable leaving my car with the valet; too many potential issues and not enough accountability.
Dont let the modern appearance of the building deceive you.I have lived in this building for a year and am now so happy that my lease is ending and I can move out. A quick list of some of the problems:1. Very low quality HVAC and appliances. Especially in Winter, the HVAC fails functioning every so often. The windows are large so the apartment gets really cold without the functioning HVAC.2. Poor quality blinder chains that easily break. Sometimes, I do not open/close the blinders just because the chains break.3. Rude maintenance manager4. Forced valet parking who, for sure, damage your car and never let you know about it.5. Passive management with whom taking about the problems are as efficient as talking to a wall!6. Regular malfunctioning of key fobs. Youll be locked out of the building in the garage during the freezing winter to wait for somebody whose fob hopefully works.7. False fire alarm that go off often, sometimes three times in the middle of the night!8. Extremely poor quality paint on the walls. You touch it and it will change color. Impossible to get touch-up paint or the correct color code from the rude maintenance manager.9. Regular sound of train siren that is extremely annoying when you want to sleep.
They don’t follow covid protocols. They had scores of construction workers without mask. I felt unsafe, moved out and paid in full. Without sending me a final bill they put 145 on my credit report.Just not good people or a well run place. Oh, and the amenities are never turned on.Look elsewhere.
Residents just got a memo that the pool won’t be opening this weekend. Excuse provided was a delay in the Westchester County Pool Permit/Annual inspection. Extremely disappointed as a)expected pool opening date not provided & b)this coupled with continued issues: washer dryers that take 3 hours to dry a regular load, low water pressure in showers, bbq grills which are never available even when a reservation is booked, & usually needing 3 visits from maintenance before any issue is resolved. The car valet staff is extremely nice but the garage is way too small for the building residents let alone public parkers. Building has the potential for “luxury” but is lacking execution.
I would give a 5 star if it wasn’t for their horrible parking system. The parking is managed by a third party, they charge a fortune for valet and offer the worse service ever. I am constantly late for my apointments because they can’t never find my car. There are days that I have to stand at least 20 minuts at the garage waiting for my car even though I sent a text requesting my car in advance. My recomendation: assign a spot for every resident and let them park their own car.
Just moved here a little over a month. Absolutely amazing and so relaxing.
Submitted an application over two weeks ago and no response from anyone in the leasing office. Meanwhile, the price went up significantly on the unit. The leasing office was also not very welcoming on our first visit and did not give us a tour, despite having an appointment and waiting for over an hour. Guess this building is not interested in new residents.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!
One of the worst experiences I have ever had touring an apartment building. The women that work here essentially looked at me because I was Hispanic and refused to give me a tour of the apartment because they didnt think I could afford this place so they made an excuse that unfortunately there arent enough people to help out.. meanwhile theyre sitting a front desk earning probably 35k a year.. just a bunch of arrogant prejudice morons..
