Just gone in for lunch,and would highly recommend it 2 masala chia,a sharing platter and a couple of chat platters all cooked fresh from an open kitchen. The service is warm and friendly a lovely family run restaurant.

Wow, what a wonderful restaurant. Vegan food was exceptional, with service to match. The starters were incredible and something that we have never experienced elsewhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our main courses of mushroom korma and malai kofta accompanied by peshwari naan. And, the carrot cake dessert was light and delicious. If this wasn’t enough, the service was lovely. There’s one downside, the restaurant is not nearer to home (Surrey)!

Excellent food from a great team. Such tasty spices. We ordered enough for 4 with order for collection - it was piping hot when got it home. Will certainly order again from here and recommend to friends

Our first visit to the restaurant, wed come across Mango food at a few food events. Restaurant comfy, friendly and the food was great. Its lovely going somewhere where most of the food is vegan or can be easily adapted. The mixed starter platter was especially good. Recommended

I am not vegetarian exclusively but I love Indian food. Ive dined here 4-5 times in the last couple of years including our company Christmas do. The food is superb and I doubt most people would have any issue with there being no meat and plenty of vegan (and gluten free) dishes as well if you are that way inclined. Reasonable pricing, good timely service, nice ambience and delicious Indian cuisine. Go, you wont regret it.I have no association with Mangos, I just eat there occasionally.

Oh God. Just amazing. All of my food tasted amazing. Lots of gluten free options (including a gluten free beer!) Definitely going to make this a regular haunt.

An absolutely fantastic meal, so lovely to have so many vegan and gluten free options without compromise on taste. Service was excellent and everything tasted divine, we all (including the kids) left very happy.

On a visit from London to my fave vegetarian restaurant with friends. Food is cooked fresh to order so there can be a delay in serving (time to chat and catch up). Food delicious, different and well worth the price. Staff friendly. Better than ever if thats possible !

Unauthentic, Expensive, Bland.Disappointing experience, and despite such an enticing menu, the products are only a fragment of the real thing and no where as good as you would find in other Indian restaurants in the country. Their chai is made with chai powder similar to your Starbucks/Costa and even simple dishes like Tadka Dal, are effectively not made with the right spices resulting in a very bland dish, a flavor which sadly replicates into other dishes. All at a price which is similar to that of a high end Indian restaurant but way below par to the food youd get there.

If you like Indian food you must try Mango. You meat eaters may turn your noses up at it being vegetarian but you will be doing yourself a disservice. The food is superb. I am a confirmed meat eater but Mango is one of my favourite restaurants. Freshly cooked, flavoursome food. Try it.

Five-star veggie and vegan food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Could be the best veggie curry in the North? It is worth going just for the chapati wraps which are delicious. Be prepared to wait for amazing food and be spoiled for choice. Plenty of dessert options too.

Amazing tastes smells colours textures what an amazing little place this is. Serving vegetarian food based on Goan recipes this lovely restaurant. Services up a pallet of wonderful fragrant tasty food spiced to your liking and caters for all dietary needs. The staff are great. The young waitresses know and introduce the dishes are very attentive and on the ball. I cant rate this restaurant highly enough. Book early this isnt your late night curry house this is something special and well worth a visit. And they are not secretive about their recipes, providing master classes covering many of the unusual dishes they prepare. Still on top of my go to places for good food. And Im not a vegetarian!

What a place! The food is sensational; such amazing flavours. This is not your average curry his fare, its far beyond that.Dont be put off by the vegetarian stamp either, the dishes are outstanding. Will definitely be going back.

Went to Mango with friends on a Thursday evening. Its a small, family run restaurant that serves vegetarian meals cooked with passion. Spotlessly clean and welcoming. Every dish was flavoursome and beautifully balanced and not too spicy. Food is freshly made to order and as such this is not for people who simply want fast food but it is certainly worth waiting for. Staff were very friendly and helpful in choosing dishes and the owner made a point of asking all the diners about their food and if they needed anything else. Good food at a fair price. Well worth a visit.

Best Indian food so far in Yorkshire. Lots of vegan options and owners are very accommodating. Portions are moderate but really tasty.They use sunflower oil without ghee/butter. Wish they used avocado or rice bran oil for flash frying to minimize grease.Few really yummy vegan desserts including moist pistachio chocolate cake and carrot halwa. Would have loved see vegan version of lassi, but alas one cannot have everything.Lovely ambiance and has seating on two levels. Would highly recommend and worth the drive from nearby towns!

I had the chilli paneer and it was absolutely delicious!! Easily the best Indian food Ive ever had. The chapattis were absolutely scrumptious too. The service was lovely and the owners were really welcoming and kind! Cant wait to make the road trip to come and eat there again!

Average food (3 stars) and too expensive. Chapati were dry, thick and soft and missed the typical Chapati texture. Brinjal slightly uncooked and too bitter. Starters were excellent. And bill too high for the area and quality of fiod. Service is good and personnel are kind.

Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Such warm and welcoming friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. This was our first visit, we had not pre-booked but were seated quite quickly, even though the restaurant was pretty busy (Saturday night). We were brought menus within a few minutes and our drinks orders were taken promptly. The menu is extremely varied with so many options, all set out in a very orderly manner and easy to follow. We were quite overcome with choice, so we asked Harry, the owner, for his recommendations, after explaining what we kind of liked. We were brought two starters, one hot and one cold, which blended perfectly together, and were an absolute taste sensation. My partner and I visit many restaurants, but were so overly impressed with our starters, which left us very eager for what was to come next. Our two mains arrived, along with a serving of rice, and a naan bread to share, which was exactly the right amount. I have a little bit of fear of greasy food when it comes to Indian food, but this Southern Indian cuisine was nothing like that, no greasy plates, and each taste was divine. I cant recommend this restaurant highly enough, and has to be the best food we have both had in years in restaurants. An absolute gem in the lovely town of Wetherby. A must try! Thank you to all at Mango, real food, real people, real service, not to mention the great seating, atmosphere and decor. Thank you, we will be back very soon :-)

My favourite restaurant the food is exceptional

If theres a big table booking in (say 12) be prepared for a very lonnng wait. The restaurant was about 50% full, we waited 2 hrs for our main tonight. As lovely as the family staff are, they just cant cope with busy(ish). Really they should of booked us in for a later sitting. If it wasnt that our first experience was fantastic I would of given 2 stars, however tonight was so disappointing, and the food seemed a little lack lustre in presentation and salty in taste (either the rush or the new menu!). Over all not what youd expect from an award winning restaurant. Have they dropped the ball?...not sure... but felt I had to share so Ill be corrected, but itll be a while before we return. :(

Excellent service and food

Waited nearly 2 hours before food arrived on our table. We speacially came from Leeds for disappointing experience. When we complained about waiting time, we were juat given just verbal apology. Food was too expensive when compared to taste and service. Small portions of main courses with little gravy. Do not waste your experience. Spend your time and money for taste somewhere else.

A lovely, friendly restaurant where the staff are more than happy to explain all the subtleties of the many dishes on offer.I am a vegetarian but cant imagine that there isnt enough here to satisfy anyone, whether vegetarian or not.Prices are perhaps slightly high, which may explain why the daytime opening hours seem to be reducing - probably just too expensive to make lunch here a regular option.Try out this restaurant, I guarantee you will not be disappointed
