Such tasty food. We ordered the black pepper beef, chicken fried rice and prawn spring rolls. All the food was out within 5 minutes and was delicious. Reasonably priced too.We went back the next evening to try other dishes and was fantastic again. Service was even faster!

When ever you ask for a spicy fried rice hot. They simply give a white color fried rice with chilli flakes.

I made my order online and wanted to take advantage of the free roti option when you spend over $25. I spent over $25 but forgot to apply the code at checkout and paid without realising. Upon going to this store to pick up my order i explained that I had been overcharged because I forgot the code and the store refused to rectify it. I feel ripped off. I am a regular customer of Aroy but I think I will find another regular.

Quick and friendly service, food came out super quick, serving portions medium-large, tastyContext: overseas travel for work, dinner with fellow travelers after gym sessionWarning: no bathrooms on premises. Closest bathroom is at New World supermarket down the streetThis is a restaurant where you place your order and pay for your meal at the counter before seating yourself. The restaurant is relatively small though tables and seating area spaced comfortably, not crammed in. Meals brought out as they are ready and do not come out all together but the wait time between each dish being served is very short. I ordered the beef massaman curry which was very flavoursome. I usually dont finish all the rice or all the liquid but in this instance, I did. I might have been hungrier than usual after a gym session though. Also, its the first massaman curry Ive had in which the beef is sliced instead of cubed. Odd and a little tough but not unpleasant. My colleagues ordered rice dishes and the serving portions looked larger than what youd usually get at Thai restaurant in Melbourne for the same AUD price conversion

I ordered the curry puffs and basil chicken veganised; it wasnt too impressive. Usually bamboo is my fave part of meal but they hadnt rinsed it from the can well enough and that unpleasant flavour tainted the other flavours. The curry puffs filling was far too sweet for my liking.

Really disappointing. Had chicken cashew. I eat this dish often up and down the country but this is by far the worst I’ve had. Rubbery chicken and pineapple in amongst it. Terrible after taste.

Wavering between 3 and 4 stars... Our food was delivered really fast. Bubbling vibe on a mid-week lunch hour. They happily booked our group of six. Staff were polite but clearly run off their feet. My chicken larb was (only) okay. Serving sizes were generous - be warned that you will be asked to pay for a doggy bag container, if you want to take your leftovers away. Food was nicely presented. I will go back to try the Tom Yum and see if that gives me reason to bump this review up to a firm 4 stars.

Yum - have tried pretty much everything on the menu I think. Our family usually gets together here, it is a small venue but usually pretty quiet since a lot of people get takeaways so pretty much guaranteed to get a table for all of us and its decently priced. Lots of vegetables which is nice.

I had dinner here tonight and had the Massaman Beef Curry and rice. The curry is very herby - the chef / proprietor must have loved star anise a lot, as there were heaps of them in the curry. I didnt order any other dishes so I cant really comment on how the other items taste like.

Have eaten at lots of Aroys around town and been happy with the food. I ordered takeaway chicken laab, roti, and cashew chicken. They didnt have roti so I got spring rolls instead. Spring rolls were fine, but the rest was bad. There was no rice with the chicken laab so I just had a giant plate of chicken mince and a little bit of cabbage. The cashew chicken had about 4 cashews in it and the chicken was rubbery. The meat from both meals had sort of a boiled quality to it which made the smell taste and texture pretty offputting. I would not go here again.

I ordered Thai Green Curry. Halfway through eating I noticed a little insect in the curry. Looking through the curry after this I found a dozen or so further little insects! Very off putting!! Will not eat there again.

The food was served fast, and tasted fine. I would say the restaurant itself let it down. It was very run down, and you could hear the cooks shouting. Would recommend if your in a rush for thai dinner. Only costed us $30.00 for four people.

Food is good. Queues at lunchtime can be a problem and they have the very worst system Ive ever seen for taking front-of-house orders. Try it if its quiet.

Wow this place has gone down hill fast!.Tom yum was like dish water with ancient mushrooms the worst take away ever. Pad Thai is over cooked stodge swimming in sauce. The green curry you could make better yourself from a super market packet. Have given this place multiple chances as im local, however the last experience and the ensuing stomach problems me and my partner had was definitely the last straw. Other aroys like Cuba st are much better.
