A beautiful sight to watch. But it is a private place controlled by the Army. Do trespass or do not violate every actions are clearly mentioned in boards.

An excellent place. The rating is for the ambience and the view and feel of the place. Did not have the good luck of having lunch or dinner. If you can, go only for the views, the tea plantations, the cricket ground and amazing mountains surrounding the club.

This golf ground is charming, serene, green, well maintained and located in the between the small hills. We spent some time here with family and there were few moments spent here hatt we still cherish. It was a month of June and hence the greenery was at peak with cloudy and little cold weather. When went inside with family they allowed us to golf course ground. There is a nice canteen and officers quarters insider which are very tidy and well maintained with beautiful gardens outside every house. The beauty of flowers on ooty is something which cant stop you from admiring this amazing place with such a nice weather. Nice place to keep in your iternery during Ooty visit.

A very comfortable stay

Excellent location and rooms.

They were very insulting to us affiliate members.We are currently residents of Ooty, with house and car in Ooty. We showed proof of that. They asked for E-pass for entry to Nilgiris which we gave them. It is dated 9 Oct. Then they made us fill self declaration that we havent traveled after that. they asked for proof that our guests were Ooty residents, which was crazy. After all this they asked for Covid test report. We didnt have that cause we have never had any symptoms so have never been tested. Nor are there any travel regulations in Tamil Nadu which ask for Covid test report to enter state. They refused to let us have a meal there on those grounds.We asked to speak to secretary who said how can they know that we have not traveled out of Ooty after October. Our self declaration was not enough for him. Im sure if we had a Covid negative report of Oct, he would have asked for current report.These questions are not asked from members of club, only from affiliate members. Members are roaming inside without masks.Basically, they arent willing to honour their affiliate agreement with other clubs. It was very insulting to us that they wouldnt believe us when we said we traveled 2 months ago. Finally we left with our guests without eating a meal.We have been to so many clubs as members, but have never faced this kind of behaviour from anyone.Most unwelcoming and downright insulting.

Tradition and Present life meets here. Traditional Colonial style ambiance but Indianised present day courteous service. Excellent accommodation, Good food, polite people and over all enchanting view with a golf coarse and other sports facilities.

A historic club with rich heritage and glorious past. The club house boasts of huge wodden hall with large balcony with seating arrangement.The club houses various rooms for stay. The golf course is of very high class. The best thing is that club has reciprocal arrangement with best of best golf clubs and gymkhana clubs all over India including some overseas clubs.Its a worth a visit to club and a game of golf. Since I did not play so would restrict my comment on the challenges of the course.

Went to play golf at their Golf course. Very serene atmosphere. Had good coffee at the club. Club needs renovation for the furniture which had seen better days. The greens on the golf course were like the rough and could be maintained well

Simple but spacious, comfortable cottages for a relaxed holiday in great surroundings. Food isnt their strong point but the town offers quite a few acceptable alternatives. Having your own car would be a great convenience

This club has old world charm and class in abundance. The golf course greens are a sight for sore eyes, special for those of us living in crowded cities. The food was also fairly good. We loved the feel of a bygone era maintained in pristine condition. We hope to stay there next time and check out the rooms.

It is very nicely maintained club. It has affiliation of more than 50 very reputed clubs across the country. Location is superb so is the environment. Quality of food and so the service is superb. Golf course with 18 holes is an added beauty in thus area.

Brilliant location. Serenity and peace wash over you as soon as you enter the club. Old world charm and great food make for an excellent experience.

What a pretty place this is, steeped in military regalia, complete with a lush green golf course and a fabulous area to wine and dine and revel in military decorum. We went there for breakfast and the service was to notch with fruits, juices and your choice of eggs and meats aling with Indian ethnic flare. Would we go back? Absolutely.

Location is superb. Only thing which they lack is the food menu. They can improve it a lot.

When i called for a booking I was rudely told to shut up with the remark that they are booked for This Month and the Next!!!!RUDE!!!!!i guess you need to have a British accent and descent to be spoken with decency here!!terrible if ppl have booked you. i called at 0900 hrs on Fri the 12th of Apr and im sorry i did!

Make sure men are wearing a collared shirt if you want to order anything! I was refused because I was wearing a collarless top which wasnt a T-Shirt but also wasnt a typical shirt.
