My first visit to Longleat and it was absolutely incredible. There is so much to see and do. There is plenty of parking available on-site lots of toilets and and places to eat and drink plus picnic areas to eat your own food. The prices in the restaurants arent too bad, and the shops are well priced.I would give at least 2 hours for the drive-through Safari also there is a stop off on the way where you can get out and see the giraffes and zebras up close and some lemurs. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The highlight for the day for me was going on the boat ride I would suggest doing this first as I have done it in the afternoon and morning and the morning I found was better I saw the hippos said the seals and the majority of the gorillas were out on their Island. The train ride I found a little boring, would be better if there was some commentary.Overall an amazing day for the money. I loved it so much I upgraded to a season pass!

We loved Longleat Safari Park, house and gardens. We had afternoon tea 🍵 in the Orangery which was delightful and had a lovely view of the gardens. There is a good variety of animals to see in both the Safari and walking around the Park afterwards. The house and grounds are very impressive. The Koalas 🐨 were our favourite! We had great views of the tigers, lions, giraffes and monkeys in the Safari too. The maze was good fun. Would definitely return one day and would recommend it as it was a great day out.

We had such an amazing day at Longleat. We decided not to stay over so we drove there and back in 6 hours 😒 with 2 young children. But the safari made up for it. We saw so many animals and our favourite was the monkeys climbing on our car which my babies loved and the tiger. The outdoor play is amazing. I mean you have a castle!!! We could have spent the day in the playground 😅 overall staff are very friendly and clearly care about the animals. It was lovely to see the camels interact with the keepers and being playful with them. We had fish and chips and later on fast food from the stalls and everything was fine. I would definitely recommend Longleat

I have been twice to that place. Kids and I really enjoyed it. But I think first time I went was slightly better as its seem that I saw more animals. Couldnt not see a peacock this time. Also it was quite long queue for entering the park, doing the jungle cruise, train or attraction. Toilet are also quite small, difficult to keep safe distance from others inside the premise. Garden was beautiful. Animals seem happy and well looked after.

Amazing place! A must visit for a day trip with your kids. It has a number of different species of animals which would be of interest to you and your kids. It offers an excellent train ride and jungle cruise where you can witness sea lion feeding and can feed the parakeets. A variety of restaurants and shops provide food and ice creams. A good collection of souvenirs and toys are available in Natures Kingdom.

Any place that helps preserve nature deserves five stars in my book. The river safari was brilliant, the drive through safari is an amazing experience that I will never forget. My only moan about the day was the fact they did not provide hand out maps, I was told that there was WiFi and I could download the longleat app but this was not the case. The mobile signal was very poor and even though I took a picture of the map on my phone it drained the battery and it meant I couldnt take as many pictures as I wanted to remember the day. The animals were first class, the technology not so hot.

Visited twice since April with the annual pass and its been fantastic both times, even in cold wet weather. Safari offers fantastic views of the animals, and the only i havent seen thus far are the hyenas. On the boat ride I saw the Gorillas, Hippos, Colobus Monkeys and of course the Sea lions. There is also a lot to see in the main square area on foot, such as Koalas, wombats and the tropical House. Lots of places to eat drink and rest. Great day out.

Amazing place to see wildlife! Rhino, Giraffe, Lion, monkey.. yeah, monkey. You can drive through, if you don’t mind your car being chewed 😀 One particular little critter, wrapped - probably for days, in a grubby old Union Jack flag (yep) climbed up and started chewing my aerial 😄 adds to the fun, I guess 😀 but in all seriousness, this was quite a thing to visit and drive through with huge lions roaming about. Um, keep the windows shut!

Longleat is a good zoo, and an excellent safari. It is much much bigger than we expected, we fitted it into our holiday in-between moving between B&Bs.we got there for 1300 and couldnt fit in half of it before 1700. 3 hours or so of it was taken up by heading to and taking part in the safari. An hour was taken up by queuing for food and eating it.After this first visit we d recommend to anyone to bring a packed lunch, and if your safari slot is after 1400 then aim to have finished the zoo and the grounds way before that as the safari will take you till close. Id say the zoo and the grounds are easily a 5 hour thing.

Lots of places to eat when its dinnertime, otherwise the coffee house is lovely.I had dirty fries your looking at 5 to 8 pounds for a smallish meal, coffee and teas normal 2 to 3pounds.As for experiences they do feeding hours where u can watch or feed animals at certain times so 2pm for giraffes as that was on my bucket list. They dont advertise this, I asked one of the trainers when there. The news places to visit were lovely, I found the moon place calming and cool while its hot outside.Leave your drive around to last I say, which is what we ended on takes around 3 hours.

What a day out! Bit of a pain to find using Apple navigation 😂🙄 my partners fault for having an iPhone! Long old queues to get into the safari but great to see the animals in so much space. The monkeys trashed the car but we got fair warning, and its a cheap fix luckily. That part is optional so if youve got a nice car you can dodge it! Giraffe feeding was so much fun, and wandering round the small animal section was both informative and didnt feel like the animals were trapped. Actually having the meerkats running round your feet was a different touch that I havent seen before. The boat trip was fantastic, the guide was incredibly knowledge and made the experience informative, educational, and most importantly great fun. Unfortunately the house was shut and some of the features were not available due to some kind of virus 🤔😒 things are slowly opening up there so hopefully for our next visit everything will be up and running. Overall an amazing day out, the only boring bit was the queues, filled the entire day and we slept well that night! Absolutely going again, might try to monkeyproof the car next time though 🙈

Didnt get to see Anne the elephant as she was in her barn. We went through mid day &it was a scorcher of a day.. most of the animals were sleeping in the shade so didnt get to interact with any of them which was a little disappointing but thats the risk you take. Longleat was amazing, really a phenomenal experience and well worth the money. The staff are lovely and the setup is great. The animals are living one of the best lives they can and have the most engaging and wonderful enclosers. The only thing I would point out, is that it can get quite busy, and therefore ques for the attractions can be a little tedious, for example the Jangle Cruise- so I thought if you want to ride on this attraction you could go to a ticket stand nearby to claim a free ticket/token that would tell you when your slot to ride this cruise is, this prevents a long queue and gives time to look round the rest of the zoo. Also, I would strongly recommend feeding the birds and braving the monkey zone!
